  • In this paper, a new method to implement the photopolymer-based VHOE using the optimized exposure time schedule is proposed. The cumulative grating strength dependence on the exposure energy is mathematically modeled by using the fourth-order polynomial function and then using this model, the optimized exposure-time schedule of the photopolymer for recording the given multiple gratings is calculated.

  • The Controller Area Network (CAN) is being widely used for real-time control application and small-scale distributed computer controller systems. However, CAN may exhibit unfair behavior under heavy traffic conditions. When there are both high and low priority messages ready for transmission, the proposed precedence priority filtering method allows one low priority message to be exchanged between any two adjacent higher priority messages. In this way, the length of each transmission delays is upper bounded. These procedures are implemented as local controllers for the ISHURO (Inha Semyung Humanoid RObot).

  • The generator cost function is one of the basic data for the generation scheduling. Generally the cost functions are obtained form design calculations or from heat rate tests. The real operating condition may be different from the condition of design or the tests. Some of the conditions may not be tested during the periodical maintenance. In order to improve the calculation of the generator cost function, this paper presents a new calculation method of the generator cost functions using the utilization factors of generators and the mixed fuel burning ratio of the generators.

  • The Semiconductor Industrial are developed after 1940. It was called “Rice of Industrial”. It needs great effect in Electronics. It was developed highly in recent several years with semiconductor manufacturing equipments. Semiconductor manufacturing devices are developed “In-line” type in the first stage. But It was non-effective in modem many type process. Because this reason, Cluster type manufacturing equipments are proposed. Cluster have ability of many-type-process and effective-scheduling by circular type process chamber In this paper. we propose a real-time 3D monitoring and simulation of this semiconductor manufacturing equipments. By proposed monitoring method, we have capability real visual maintanance & virtual simulation. This effective visual 3D monitoring could apply another dangerous environment in entire industrial.

  • This paper propose that is algorithm of power dissipation reduction in the high level synthesis design for DSP(Digital Signal Processor), as the portable terminal system recently demand high power dissipation. This paper obtain effect of power dissipation reduction and switching activity that increase correlation of operands as input data of function unit. The algorithm search loop or repeatedly data to the input operands of function unit. That can be reduce the power dissipation using the new low power high level synthesis algorithm. In this Paper, scheduling operation search same nodes from input DFG(Data Flow Graph) with correlation coefficient of first input node and among nodes. Function units consist a multiplier, an adder and a register. The power estimation method is added switching activity for each bits of nodes. The power estimation have good efficient using proposed algorithm. This paper result obtain more Power reduction of fifty percents after using a new low power algorithm in a function unit as multiplier.

  • In this paper, we analyze an N-design call center with skill-based routing, in which one pool of agents handles two types of calls and another pool of agents handles only one type of calls. The approximate analysis is motivated by a computational complexity that has been observed in the direct stochastic approach and numerical method for finding performance measures. The workforce staffing policy is very important to the successful management of call centers. So the allocation scheduling of the agents can be considered as the optimization problem of the corresponding queueing system to the call center. We use a decomposition algorithm which divides the state space of the queueing system into the subspaces for the approximate analysis of the N-design call center with two different types of agents. We also represent some numerical examples and show the impact of the system parameters on the performance measures.

  • This study presents a new type of CNC interpolator that is capable of generating cutter paths for ball-end milling of NURBS surfaces. The proposed surface interpolator comprises real-time algorithms for cutter contact (CC) path scheduling and CC path interpolator. Especially in this study, a new interpolator module to regulate cutting forces is developed. This propose algorithm utilizes variable-feedrate commands along the CC path according to the curvature of machined surfaces during the interpolation process. Additionally, it proposes an OpenGL graphic library for computer graphics and animation of interpolated tool-position display. The proposed interpolator is evaluated and compared with the existing method based on constant feedrates through computer simulations.

  • 컨테이너 터미널에서의 생산성은 본선작업의 효율성과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 효율적인 본선작업을 위한 첫 번째 단계는 선석에서 컨테이너를 취급하는 장비인 안벽크레인(Quay Crane : QC)에 대하여 효율적인 작업일정계획을 수립하는 것이다. 일반적으로 안벽크레인의 작업일정계획은 선박내의 장치계획에 관한 정보와 장치장의 장치현황정보등 많은 정보를 활용해야 하며, 선박의 안정성과 크레인의 작업용이성 등 다양한 제약사항을 고려하여야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인공지능기법 중 최적에 가까운 해를 찾아주는 탐색기법인 GRASP(Greedy Randomized Adaptive Search Procedure)를 적용하여 실제 현장에서 적용 가능한 안벽크레인 작업일정계획기법을 제안하였다. 또한, 컨테이너 터미널의 실제 자료를 수집하여 제안된 메타휴리스틱 알고리즘의 성능을 분석하였다.

  • This paper proposes a new resource allocation system where overall performance can be improved using production smoothing method. In economic point of view, market price is determined by the market mechanism that is subject to the law of demand and supply. Similarly, agents determine whether to allocate tasks to machines by profit and loss or not. In existing resource allocation system, tasks are exclusively allocated to agents with better manufacturing conditions, because they are evaluated by the only currency. But in the proposed resource allocation system, agents are evaluated by not only a currency but also machine specifications. Hereby, the production smoothing is achieved and we expect to improve system performance In this study, we propose a resource allocation system with consideration of Production Smoothing.
