In the present study, the nonlocal strain gradient theory is used to predict the size-dependent buckling and post-buckling behavior of geometrically imperfect nano-scale piezo-flexomagnetic plate strips in two modes of direct and converse flexomagnetic effects. The first-order shear deformation plate theory is used to analyze analytically nano-strips with simply supported boundary conditions. The nonlinear governing equations of equilibrium and associated boundary conditions are derived using the principle of minimum total potential energy with consideration of the von Kármán-type of geometric nonlinearity. A closed-form solution of governing differential equation is obtained, which is easily usable for engineers and designers. To validate the presented formulations, whenever possible, a comparison with the results found in the open literature is reported for buckling loads. A parametric study is presented to examine the effect of scaling parameters, plate slenderness ratio, temperature, the mid-plane initial rise, flexomagnetic coefficient, different temperature distributions, and magnetic potential, in case of the converse flexomagnetic effect, on buckling and post-buckling loads in detail.
This study was to figure out the influence of oral health behavior and periodontal status on their OHIP-14. Explained to 255 people who visited the scaling center of Dental Hygienics of a college in Gyeongbuk from March 7th to June 13th 2014 and it was agreed to perform. Result of dental plaque and calculus rate of those with no TBI were high; the less frequent do they teeth brushing the higher were their rate of dental plaque, bleeding and calculus, while their OHIP-14 was low. The rate of calculus of whom with no education on dental floss use and who do not use dental flosswas high. The more powerful for those with higher rate of dental plaque; while the lower was the rate of calculus the higher was OHIP-14. Therefore, the more do they brush their teeth and the lower are the rate of their calculus, the more positively has it been figured out to influence on the quality of their life of oral health. Consequently, public health program should be developed to educate them on the necessity of scaing on a regular basis and the cause calculus of occurrence, as well as a media through which they can easily participate in the program.
The apparent thickening of the subducting slab in the shallow lower mantle has been attributed to slab buckling. However, the scaling laws have not been quantitatively evaluated for the buckling behavior of the subducting slab when phase transformations are considered. Thus, two-dimensional dynamic subduction experiments are formulated to evaluate the effect of phase transformations on the buckling behavior of the subducting slab. The model calculations show that the phase transformation from olivine to wadsleyite at a depth of 410 km plays an important role in the development of slab buckling; increased slab pull due to the endothermic phase transformation accelerates slab sinking in the upper mantle and the subducting slab reaches the lower mantle in a shorter time than that of the experiments without the phase transformation. However, the phase transformation from ringwoodite to perovskite plus $magnesiow{\ddot{u}}stite$ at a depth of 660 km retards slab sinking into the lower mantle and the subducting slab tends to be accumulated in the transformation (transition) zone. Buckling analyses show that the scaling laws predict the buckling amplitude and period of the subducting slab with small relative errors even if the phase transformations are considered. The universal phenomenon of the slab buckling can explain apparent slab thickening in the shallow lower mantle and transformation zone under the subduction zones such as Java-Sunda and Northeast Japan. In addition, the buckling behavior of the subducting slab may be related to the periodic compressions and extensions in the Cretaceous Gyeongsang basin.

The general wavelet transform has profitable property in non-stationary signal analysis specially. The tunable Q-factor wavelet transform is a fully-discrete wavelet transform for which the Q-factor Q and the asymptotic redundancy r, of the transform are easily and independently specified. In particular, the specified parameters Q and r can be real-valued. Therefore, by tuning Q, the oscillatory behavior of the wavelet can be chosen to match the oscillatory behavior of the signal of interest, so as to enhance the sparsity of a sparse signal representation. The TQWT is well suited to fast algorithms for sparsity-based inverse problems because it is a Parseval frame, easily invertible, and can be efficiently implemented. The transform is based on a real valued scaling factor and is implemented using a perfect reconstruction over-sampled filter bank with real-valued sampling factors. The transform is parameterized by its Q-factor and its over-sampling rate, with modest over-sampling rates being sufficient for the analysis/synthesis functions to be well localized. This paper describes filter design of 2D discrete-time wavelet transform for which the Q-factor is easily specified. With the advantage of this transform, perfect reconstruction filter design and implementation for performance improvement are focused in this paper. Hence, the 2D transform can be tuned according to the oscillatory behavior of the image signal to which it is applied. Therefore, application for performance improvement in multimedia communication field was evaluated.

This paper describes a 2D discrete-time wavelet transform for which the Q-factor is easily specified. Hence, the transform can be tuned according to the oscillatory behavior of the image signal to which it is applied. The tunable Q-factor wavelet transform (TQWT) is a fully-discrete wavelet transform for which the Q-factor, Q, of the underlying wavelet and the asymptotic redundancy (over-sampling rate), r, of the transform are easily and independently specified. The TQWT can also be used as an easily-invertible discrete approximation of the continuous wavelet transform. The transform is based on a real valued scaling factor (dilation-factor) and is implemented using a perfect reconstruction over-sampled filter bank with real-valued sampling factors. The transform is parameterized by its Q-factor and its oversampling rate (redundancy), with modest oversampling rates (e. g. 3-4 times overcomplete) being sufficient for the analysis/synthesis functions to be well localized. Therefore, This method services good performance in image processing fields.
The purpose of this study was to investigate factors to influence on buying behavior of Chinese male consumers in regards to apparel types. Furthermore, this study provided fundamental data for marketing strategy in export apparel business to China from domestic apparel business. Returned 863 questionnaires from Chinese male consumers analyzed by factor analysis, and multidimensional scaling with SPSS10.0. The result of this study were as follows: Chinese male consumers bought formal wear with evaluating two groups of factors; one for functional (fitness, A/S, durability, and management), the other for external (brand, and trend). They bought casual wear with evaluating three groups of factors; functional/useful (price, A/S, and durability), aesthetic (color, and design), and external (brand and trend). Also they bought sports wear with evaluating three groups of factors; functional/useful(price, A/S, durability, and fabric), aesthetic(design and color), and external(brand and coordination).
In this study, we developed control system for stable teleoperation of supermicrosurgical robot platform. The supermicrosurgical robot platform is designed to perform precise anastomosis with micro vessels ranging from 0.3 mm to 0.7 mm. The robotic assistance could help more precise manipulation then manual surgery with the help of motion scaling and tremor filtering. However, since the robotic system could cause several vulnerabilities, control system for stable teleoperation should be preceded. Therefore, we first designed control system including inverse kinematics solver, clutch error interpolator and finite state machine. The inverse kinematics solver was designed to minimized inertial motion of the manipulator and tested by applying orientational motion. To make robot slowly converges to the leader's orientation when orientational error was occurred during clutch, the SLERP was used to interpolate the error. Since synchronized behavior of two manipulators and independent behavior of manipulator both exist, two layered finite state machines were designed. Finally, the control system was evaluated by experiment and showed intended behavior, while maintaining low pose error.
The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation of oral health behavior, oral health state and PHP in an effort to facilitate the promotion of oral health and improve oral health care. The subjects in this study were patients who got a scaling at the oral hygiene practice lab in the department of dental hygiene in S college dental clinic from September 5 to December 1, 2007. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS WIN 12.0 program. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. The younger patients had a smaller number of FT index, and the older patients excelled the younger ones in oral health behavior involving the use of oral hygiene supplies, regular visit to dental clinics and dietary control. 2. The patients got 2.62 out of possible five points on oral health behavior, which indicated that their oral health behavior wasn't good enough. Those whose oral health behavior was better had a smaller number of DT index and a larger number of FT index. A better oral health behavior led to a lower PHP index. 3. There was a negative(-) interrelationship between oral health behavior and DT index, and oral health behavior had a positive(+) correlation with FT index. The oral health behavior had a negative(-) correlation to PHP index, which showed that a better oral health behavior led to a lower PHP index. The above-mentioned findings seem to suggest that oral health behavior is one of integral factors to affect oral health status and PHP index, and the kind of oral health education that could change oral health care attitude should be provided during scaling practice after grasping the actual oral health behavior of patients.
