The purpose of this study was to determine the teaching styles of professors who teach adult students in selected higher institutions. It also identified whether professors' teaching styles were teacher-centered or learner-centered and examined the relationship between instructors' teaching styles and such instructor demographic variables as gender, years of teaching experience, and taught level of courses. This study used The Principles of Adult Learning Scale(PALS) (Conti,1983) to measure instructional preferences. Demographic characteristics were collected through a personal data inventory. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) tests were used to analyze the data. The data were examined for significance at the .05 level of confidence by means of analysis of variance. The dependent variables in this study were teaching styles of full-time professor, as represented by the seven subscores from the standardized instrument on the PALS. The seven subscores were: (1) learner-centered activities, (2) personalizing instruction, (3) relating to experience, (4) assessing student needs, (5) climate building, (6) participation in the learning process, and (7) flexibility for personal development. The study established that there was a significant difference in mean scores on the PALS between participants when examined by the number of years of teaching experiences.

In recent times cyber attackers can use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to boost the sophistication and scope of attacks. On the defense side, AI is used to enhance defense plans, to boost the robustness, flexibility, and efficiency of defense systems, which means adapting to environmental changes to reduce impacts. With increased developments in the field of information and communication technologies, various exploits occur as a danger sign to cyber security and these exploitations are changing rapidly. Cyber criminals use new, sophisticated tactics to boost their attack speed and size. Consequently, there is a need for more flexible, adaptable and strong cyber defense systems that can identify a wide range of threats in real-time. In recent years, the adoption of AI approaches has increased and maintained a vital role in the detection and prevention of cyber threats. In this paper, an Ensemble Deep Restricted Boltzmann Machine (EDRBM) is developed for the classification of cybersecurity threats in case of a large-scale network environment. The EDRBM acts as a classification model that enables the classification of malicious flowsets from the largescale network. The simulation is conducted to test the efficacy of the proposed EDRBM under various malware attacks. The simulation results show that the proposed method achieves higher classification rate in classifying the malware in the flowsets i.e., malicious flowsets than other methods.
There have been a lot of considerable. discussion and debate surrounding the management model in the health insurance management system and opinions regarding the management operating cost. It is a well known fact that there have always been dissenting opinions and debates surrounding the issue. The management operating cost varies according to the scale of the management organization and component members characteristics of the insurance carrier. Therefore, it is necessary to examine and compare the management operating cost to the simulated management models developed to cover those eligible for the health insurance scheme in this country. Since the management operating cost can vary according to the different models of management, four alternative management models have been established based on the critical evaluation of existing theories concerned, as well as on the basis of the survey results and simulation attempts. The first alternative model is the Unique Insurance Carrier Model(Ⅰ) ; desigened to cover all of the people with no classification of insurance qualifications and finances from the source of contribution of the insured, nationwide. The second is the Management Model of Large-scale District Insurance Carrier(Ⅱ) ; this means the Korean society would be divided into 21 large districts; each having its own insurance carrier that would cover the people in that particular district with no classification of insurance qualifications arid finances as in Model I. The third is the Management Model of Insurance Carrier Divided by Area and Classified with Occupation if Largescale (Ⅲ) ; to serve the self-employed in the 21 districts divided as in Model Ⅱ. It would serve the employees and their dependents by separate insurance carriers in large-scale similar to the area of the district-scale for the self-employed, so that the insurance qualifications and finances would be classified with each of the insurance carriers: The last is the Management Model of the Multi - insurance Carrier (Ⅳ) based on the Si. Gun. Gu area which will cover their own self- employed people in the area with more than 150 additional insurance carriers covering the employees and their dependents. The manpower necessary to provide services to all of the people according to the four models is calculated through simulation trials. It indicates that the Management Model of Large-scale District Insurance Carrier requires the most manpower among the four alternative models. The unit management operating costs per the insured individuals and covered persons are leveled with several intervals based on the insurance recipients. in their characteristics. The interval levels derived from the regression analysis reveal that the larger the scale of the insurance carriers is in the number of those insured and covered. the more the unit management operating cost decreases. significantly. Moreover. the result of the quadratic functional formula also shows the U-shape significantly. The management operating costs derived from the simulated calculation. on the basis of the average salary and related cost per staff- member of the Health Insurance Societies for Occupational Labours and Korean Medical Insurance Corporation for the Official Servants and Private School Teachers in 1987 fiscal year. show that the Model of Multi-insurance Carrier warrants the highest management operating cost. Meanwhile the least expensive management operating cost is the Management Model of Unique Insurance Carrier. Insurance Carrier Divided by Area and Classified with Occupation in Large-scale. and Large-scale District Insurance Carrier. in order. Therefore. it is feasible to select the Unique Insurance Carrier Model among the four alternatives from the viewpoint of the management operating cost and in the sense of the flexibility in promoting the productivity of manpower in the human services field. However. the choice of the management model for health insurance systems and its application should be examined further utilizing the operation research analysis for such areas as the administrative efficiency and factors related to computer cost etc.

The purpose of this study was to examine the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the nursing students' perception of instructor caring (NSPIC) scale developed by Wade and Kasper for nursing students. We collected data from 219 nursing students in the 3rd to 4th year at three nursing colleges from June 4 to June 20, 2018. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. An exploratory factor analysis with varimax rotation was performed, resulting in five factors (respectful sharing, confidence through caring, control versus flexibility, supportive learning climate, appreciation of life's meanings) with a total of 27 items. Confirmatory factor analysis supported good convergent and discriminant validities. In addition, the concurrent validity test confirmed that the K-NSPIC scale was a validity tool as the correlation of the clinical learning environment (CLE) scale appeared as r=.64 (p<.001). The Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the K-NSPIC was .88, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient for each of the five factors was .91, .86, .80, .76, and .85; internal consistency was confirmed. It is significant that the K-NSPIC proved applicable as a useful tool for assessing instructor caring. It is also expected that it will assist in the design of programs to improve the caring ability of instructors.
Purpose - The Northeast Asian Logistic Hub strategy was established to create a national competitive advantage in northeast Asia. Countries in this region are competing fiercely to become the central base distribution port as the volume of container shipping continues to increase due to the northeast Asian (especially Chinese) economic growth. The primary method by which shippers are improving their customer service and distribution is enhancing profits by minimizing call ports on the key route through strategic affiliations and the use of large vessels. Each nation is planning large-scale investments in the construction of sea ports that can accommodate large vessels. This paper proposes ways by which the logistical strategies of domestic corporations can keep pace with changes in government policy concerning the Northeast Asian Business Hub policy. It examines the logistics system in the Northeast Asian region, analyzes the government's Northeast Asian Business Hub policy, and suggests logistical strategies for domestic corporations through an analysis based on a questionnaire designed to grasp domestic firms' needs and goals. Research design, data and methodology - The purpose of this study is to determine how shipping companies establish partnerships with third-party logistics providers and draws out the implications of the results. The survey methods used were personal interviews and questionnaires distributed to a sample population through e-mail, fax, mail, and telephone. A total of 600 questionnaires were distributed, of which 165 were returned. Among these, ten were excluded due to insufficient content; ultimately, 155 were used for the sample. The statistical data collection process was analyzed through data coating and a statistical package program. Results - This study argues that greater flexibility in policies, administration, and systems will be needed to significantly improve established business practices. In this dissertation, we primarily identify that in order to become a center of northeast Asian logistics, Korea must adopt a new paradigm and abandon the existing systems that are based on the economic and social systems that have stemmed from bureaucracy, inflexibility, chauvinism, and equalitarianism. Flexible policies, administration, and systems will be necessary to improve business practices. Domestic corporations must establish a strategic logistics hub and related network while simultaneously pursuing value-added logistics businesses by increasing their manpower and building a logistics information system. This will strengthen their competitive edge and lead to system improvements. Conclusions - Domestic corporations must adopt a new paradigm and use more reasonable business laws, systems, and policies that are based on market-driven flexibility and transparency. Moreover, social norms and regulations should be established to help ensure political and social security. Korea must also develop a culture of tolerance for foreign companies. Finally, the paradigm defining the policy governing the development of the capital city and its satellite cities in this context must be changed.

Recent proliferation of advanced technologies such as wireless communication, mobile, sensor technology and so on has caused significant changes in a traffic environment. Human beings, in particular drivers, as well as roads and vehicles were advanced on information, intelligence and automation thanks to those advanced technologies; Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and autonomous vehicles are the results of changes in a traffic environment. This study proposed considerations when designing a simulation model for future transportation environments, which are difficult to predict the change by means of advanced technologies. First of all, approximability, flexibility and scalability were defined as a macroscopic concept for a simulation model design. For actual similarity, calibration is one of the most important steps in simulation, and Physical layer and MAC layer should be considered for the implementation of the communication characteristics. Interface, such as API, for inserting the additional models of future traffic environments should be considered. A flexible design based on compatibility is more important rather than a massive structure with inherent many functions. Distributed computing with optimized H/W and S/W together is required for experimental scale. The results of this study are expected to be used to the design of future traffic simulation.
Accidents are the fourth-leading causal factor of death among the elderly, and fall is a major type of accident (53.17%). Many cases of falls in the elderly result in delayed discovery and loss of quality of life. As the number of the elderly grows, falls will be a more important health problem. Most previous research on falls investigated prevalence. mortality, and the related factors. There are many studies proving the effect of rhythmic movements. But few researches considered linking risk factors of fall with rhythmic movements. Purpose: We want to show the changes after performing rhythmic movement program, in risk factors of falls and mobility such as flexibility, balance, muscle power and persistency in the elderly, in order to provide basic information needed for the development of fall injury prevention program for the elderly. Method: The design of this study is quasi-experimental, the equivalent control group, pretest-posttest. The subjects consist of 124 people who lived in Do-Bong-Qu. Seoul, agreed to participate in this study, and were able to follow this rhythmic movement program. About 93 % of them are from 65 to 84 years (Mean${\pm}$sd: $73.7{\pm}5.7$): 64% are female. The rhythmic movement program was designed. and performed by two community health nurses working in the Do-Bong-Gu Public Health Center, regularly twice a week from May, 4 to December, 17. in 10 senior citizens' community centers. Risk factors of fall were measured with RAFS- II (Risk Assessment for Falls Scale II) by asking about each item: mobility was measured by observing their specific movements asked by investigators. Results: 1. After performing the program during 7 months, risk factors score of falls were decreased significantly (paired-t = 4.77. p<0.01). 2. After performing the program during 7 months, flexibility (paired-t = 2.26. p=0.03) and mobility were improved (paired-t = 4.98. p<0.01). but muscle power and persistency did not change (paired-t = 0.33. p=0.74). Overall, mobility affecting the occurrence of falls was improved significantly (paired-t = 5.15. p<0.01). Conclusions: A regular rhythmic movement program can be helpful in preventing falls in the elderly. Further. we can develop a fall injury prevention program using rhythmic movement.

The purpose of this study is to provide a reasonable analytical method for the reinforced concrete beams which shows failure mode of shear and flexure-shear by proposing a modified formulation to consider the effect of shear deformation on the beam-column fiber element based on the flexibility method and a new constitutive law of inelastic shear response history for the section. A total of 6 specimens of reinforced concrete beams which is designed to cause shear failure before yielding longitudinal reinforcement to investigate the influence of the main experimental variables on the shear behavior characteristics and the analysis was performed by using a non-linear finite element analysis program (RCAHEST) applying the newly modified constitutive equation by the authors. The failure mode and the overall behavior characteristics until fracture are predicted appropriately for all specimens and the results are expected to be useful enough for the 3 - D analysis to carry out reliable results of large-scale and complicated structures in the future.
This paper proposes to examine the relationship between the two trade unions of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) - those of the regular workers and of the in-house subcontract workers - around the issue of converting irregular workers to regular ones, which has been a social issue for a long time, and, furthermore, to find a desirable solution. The politics of the in-house subcontracting rotate around three axes: the conflictive collusion between the company and the regular workers'union regarding the internal labor market; the exclusion and resistance between the company and the subcontract workers'union; and the solidaristic conflict relationship between the two unions. After the final decree by the supreme court in 2012 the conflict and collusion/solidarity relationship of the three social actors have been amplified in scale - the continuous limping of the special bargaining between the company and the unions, the intensified conflict between the company and the subcontract workers'union, and the crisis of the collusion between the branches of the two unions are all evidence of this. A clue to the solution to the issues of in-house subcontracting in HMC can be found through reestablishment of the relationship among the three actors. In order to solve the in-house subcontracting issues in HMC, phased and lawful switching from irregular to regular positions, improvement of working conditions for the irregular workers, integration of the two unions (realization of 'one company one union'), and negotiated flexibility in the internal labor market will be required. Also to be considered are installation of a special committee for the issue, and utilization of external consultants. The result would be the possibility for the corporate labor market of HMC to be composed of regular workers, legal contract workers and directly-employed contract workers, which could be realized through bilateral relations of 'the labor and management conflict partnership'.
