Verification of Graphite Isotope Ratio Method Combined With Polynomial Regression for the Estimation of Cumulative Plutonium Production in a Graphite-Moderated Reactor

  • Graphite Isotope Ratio Method (GIRM) can be used to estimate plutonium production in a graphite-moderated reactor. This study presents verification results for the GIRM combined with a 3-D polynomial regression function to estimate cumulative plutonium production in a graphite-moderated reactor. Using the 3-D Monte-Carlo method, verification was done by comparing the cumulative plutonium production with the GIRM. The GIRM can estimate plutonium production for specific sampling points using a function that is based on an isotope ratio of impurity elements. In this study, the 10B/11B isotope ratio was chosen and calculated for sampling points. Then, 3-D polynomial regression was used to derive a function that represents a whole core cumulative plutonium production map. To verify the accuracy of the GIRM with polynomial regression, the reference value of plutonium production was calculated using a Monte-Carlo code, MCS, up to 4250 days of depletion. Moreover, the amount of plutonium produced in certain axial layers and fuel pins at 1250, 2250, and 3250 days of depletion was obtained and used for additional verification. As a result, the difference in the total cumulative plutonium production based on the MCS and GIRM results was found below 3.1% with regard to the root mean square (RMS) error.

  • Laser scanning is a new technology for obtaining Digital Surface Models(DSM) of the earth surface.It is a fast method for sampling the earth surface with high density and high point accuracy. This paper is for buildings extraction from LiDAR points data. The core part of building construction is based on a parameters filter for distinguishing between terrain and non-terrain laser points. The 3D geometrical properties of the building facades are obtained based on plane fitting using least-squares adjustment. The reconstruction part of the procedure is based on the adjacency among the roof facades. Primitive extraction and facade intersections are used for building reconstruction. For overcome the difficulty just reconstruct of laser points data used with digital camera images. Also, 3D buildings of city area reconstructed using digital map. Finally, In this paper show 3D building Modeling using digital map and LiDAR data.

  • A hazard analysis which included watching operations, measuring temperatures of foods throughout preparation and display, and sampling and testing for microorganisms of total plate counts and coliform bacteria was conducted in various phases of product flow of Naeng-myeun (Cold noodles) and Pi-bim bab (mixed rice) prepared at Korean restaurants. Large numbers of total plate counts were counted from the cooked foods after handling and holding. Ingestion of these foods must be considered high risk. Critical control points identified were, pre-preparation, food handling after cooking, and holding on display in product flow of Nang-Meon and pre-preparation, preparation, and holding on display in product flow of Pi-bim bab. It need for effective quality control of Nang-Meon and Pi-bim bab that training program consist of surveillance, education of the staff, standard operation procedures, forbidding dangerous processes and control of critical points.

근사모델의 분산과 신뢰구간을 이용한 모델의 정확도 평가법 (Validation Technique using variance and confidence interval of metamodel)

  • The validation technique is classified with two methods whether to demand of additional experimental points. The method which requires additional experimental points such as RSME is actually impossible in engineering field. Therefore, the method which only use experimented points such as the cross validation technique is only available. But the cross validation not only requires considerable computational costs for generating metamodel each iterations, but also cannot measure quantitatively the fidelity of metamodel. In this research we propose a new validation technique for representative metamodels using an variance of metamodel and confidence interval information. The proposed validation technique computes confidence intervals using a variance information from the metamodel. This technique will have influence on choosing the accurate metamodel, constructing ensemble of each metamodels and advancing effectively sequential sampling technique.

  • 다중 모달리티 영상정합은 서로 다른 성격의 두 영상의 중요정보를 결합하여 복합적 정보를 얻기 위해 널리 사용되는 영상처리 기법이다. 본 연구에서는 정합 대상 객체의 초기위치 및 방향에 종속적이지 않고, 낮은 정합오차 범위 내에서의 안정적인 정합을 지원하기 위하여 기존의 표면기반 정합 기법을 개선한 모멘트 정보 및 표면거리 기반의 정합 기법을 제시한다. 제안방법에서는 우선 정합대상객체의 표면 윤곽 점을 추출하고, 이를 기반으로 대상객체의 모멘트 정보를 추출하여, 표면거리 기반 상세 정합 이전에 모멘트 정보를 일치시키는 변환을 수행함으로써, 정합이전 대상객체의 위치 및 방향이 상이한 경우에 있어서도 정합이 안정적으로 수행되도록 한다. 또한 테스트 영상에 대한 표면 대표점 추출 시, 표면 코너추출법을 적용함으로써, 기존 표면 정보 기반 정합기법에서 일반적으로 사용하고 있는 무작위 샘플링 및 일정간격 샘플링에 의한 취약점을 보완한다. 본 논문에서 제안기법의 검증을 위하여 뇌 부위 자기공명단층영상(MRI)과 양자 방출 단층 촬영 영상(PET)을 적용하고, 정합오류율과 정합결과에 대한 2,3차원 가시화 영상의 육안평가를 통하여 정확성 및 안정성 측면을 검증한다.

  • 분 논문에서는 Lohmann 방법과 FFT (fast Fourier transform)를 사용하여 홀로그램을 제작하였다. 먼저 수학적으로 정의되는 물체의 $128{\times}128$로 표본화된 점들에 대한 복소 파면을 FFT 연산으로 구하였다. 그리고 Lohmann의 방법을 사용하여 각각의 표본점에 대한 복소 파면의 진폭과 위상을 홀로그램 정보로 바꾸었다. PC와 레이저 프린터를 용하여 홀로그램 도면을 그렸으며, 그 도면을 사진 축소하여 CGH(computer generated holograms) 필름을 제작하였다. 헬륨-네온 레이저와 역퓨리에 변환 광학계를 사용하여 수학적으로 정의되는 물체의 홀로그램 상을 재생하였다. $32{\times}32$, $64{\times}64$, $128{\times}128$의 표본수, random 위상의 적용 여부, 진폭 절단 및 CGH 필름의 표백 정도에 따라 변화하는 홀로그램 상의 특성을 조사하였다. 이 실험을 통하여 우수한 홀로그램 상을 재생할 수 있는 최적 조건과 홀로그램 상에서 스페클 잡음을 줄일 수 있는 최적 조건을 얻을 수 있었다. 2진 위상 홀로그램을 프로그램하기 위하여 Lohmann의 알고리즘을 MS Visual BASIC 6.0으로 구현하였다.

경량화를 위한 BIW 소재 최적설계 (Material Optimization of BIW for Minimizing Weight)

  • In this study, we propose the method of optimally changing material of BIW for minimizing weight while satisfying vehicle requirements on static stiffness. First, we formulate a material selection optimization problem. Next, we establish the CAE procedure of evaluating static stiffness. Then, to enhance the efficiency of design work, we integrate and automate the established CAE procedure using a commercial process integration and design optimization (PIDO) tool, PIAnO. For effective optimization, we adopt the approach of metamodel based approximate optimization. As a sampling method, an orthogonal array (OA) is used for selecting sampling points. The response values are evaluated at the sampling points and then these response values are used to generate a metamodel of each response using the linear polynomial regression (PR) model. Using the linear PR model, optimization is carried out an evolutionary algorithm (EA) that can handle discrete design variables. Material optimization result reveals that the weight is reduced by 44.8% while satisfying all the design constraints.

  • In this study, we propose the method of optimally selecting material of front pillar (A-pillar) and package tray for minimizing weight while satisfying vehicle requirements on static stiffness and dynamic stiffness. First, we formulate a material selection optimization problem. Next, we establish the CAE procedure of evaluating static stiffness and dynamic stiffness. DSLA: Dynamic Sampling Localization Algorithm Based on Virtual Anchor Node

  • Compared with the localization methods in the static sensor networks, node localization in dynamic sensor networks is more complicated due to the mobility of the nodes. Dynamic Sampling Localization Algorithm Based on Virtual Anchor (DSLA) is proposed in this paper to localize the unknown nodes in dynamic sensor networks. Firstly, DSLA algorithm predicts the speed and movement direction of nodes to determine a sector sampling area. Secondly, a method of calculating the sampling quantity with the size of the sampling area dynamically changing is proposed in this paper. Lastly, the virtual anchor node, i.e., the unknown node that got the preliminary possible area (PLA), assists the other unknown nodes to reduce their PLAs. The last PLA is regarded as a filtering condition to filter out the conflicting sample points quickly. In this way, the filtered sample is close to its real coordinates. The simulation results show that the DSLA algorithm can greatly improve the positioning performance when ensuring the execution time is shorter and the localization coverage rate is higher. The localization error of the DSLA algorithm can be dropped to about 20%.

색상분포에 기반한 적응형 샘플링 및 6차원 ICP (6D ICP Based on Adaptive Sampling of Color Distribution)

  • 3차원 정합이란 다시점에서 획득한 3차원 점군들을 정렬하는 기술로써 지난 수십 년간 많은 연구가 진행되고 있는 분야이다. 이러한 3차원 정합은 ICP(Iterative Closest Point) 알고리즘을 시작으로 많은 변형 ICP가 소개되고 있다. 하지만 ICP 계열의 알고리즘들은 최근접점을 대응점으로 간주하여 알고리즘을 수행한다. 그렇기 때문에 3차원 점군의 초기 오차가 큰 경우 정확한 대응점 탐색에 실패할 수 있다. 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 색상과 3차원 거리가 융합된 6차원 거리와 색상분포 유사도를 이용한다. 더 나아가 색상 분할 기반 적응형 샘플링을 이용하여 알고리즘 연산 속도를 감소시키고 성능을 향상시키는 것을 목표로 한다. 마지막으로 실험을 통해 기존의 방법과 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법의 성능을 비교한다.
