Speed Up Test on conventional Line by using Korean High Speed Train(HSR-350x) (한국형 고속 전철을 활용한 기존선 속도향상 고찰)

  • KTX has started commercial service from Seoul to Busan and Mokpo since April 1, 2004. The service line is composed of new-high speed line and conventional line. Before KTX is runs, the maximum operational speed on conventional line was 140km/h. In order to reduce the traveling time, operation speed of KTX must be increased on the conventional line. So, we performed test running with prototype HSR-350x and verification of safety was made in $10\%$ speed-up. Korean High Speed Train HSR-350x) was developed by G7 - R&D project. In this study, in safety aspect, several technical reviews are introduced and the possibility for reduction of traveling time is investigated on the conventional line by using HSR-350x.

  • Owing to a reliance on imported products from Europe and Japan, the use of logistics equipment with poor energy efficiency coupled with high maintenance costs can lead to high operating costs for some domestic logistic centers. To lower their operating costs, the logistic centers use motorized roller conveyors. In order to commercialize this process, it is necessary to establish the test criteria and assess the reliability of the process. Currently, there exists no standard verification method to test the reliability of motorized roller conveyors. In this study, we propose reliability assessment criteria for a: i) reliability test, ii) environmental test, iii) safety test, and iv) lifetime test.

An Evaluation of the Fatigue Properties for External Panel Using Low Density SMC (저비중 SMC 외장패널의 피로특성 평가)

  • A research for application of LDSMC(Low Density Sheet Molding Compound) composite is in progress for lightening the weight. This paper has performed fatigue test and simulation of external panel for Korean commercial vehicle. Before the fatigue test, static test was carried out. From the test, the structural safety was investigated using Goodman diagram. After the static test performance, the fatigue test was conducted at a range of load frequency 5Hz, a stress ratio(R) of 0.05 and an endurance limit of $10^6$ to obtain the S-N curve. The S-N curve is applied to the fatigue analysis of the external panel assembly. The result of FEM analysis was in accord with the experimental result within 83% confidence. It showed that the process to set up the safety range of allowable error is required in process of the design and simulation verification.

  • The development of excitation control system (ECS) for emergency diesel generator in nuclear power plant is the replacement project of existing control system to resolve the maintenance problems caused by aging and obsolescence, The excitation control system is classified as a safety-related system. To guarantee the performance of developing excitation control system is equal to or higher than that of other systems, establishing the quality assurance scheme, doing software verification and validation activities, and planning equipment qualification. In this paper, we'd like to introduce the equipment qualification of excitation control system.

  • 원자력 발전소와 같이 시스템 오작동으로 인하여 엄청난 재난을 불러 올 수 있는 시스템은 시스템을 구축하기 이전에 완전한 설계 및 검증이 절대적으로 필요하다. 특히 긴급성을 요하는 원자력 발전소의 긴급 차단 시스템과 같은 실시간 safety-critical 시스템은 시스템 행위의 유기적인 측면뿐만 아니라, 시간적 제약을 고려하여 엄격하게 명세하고 분석해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 시각적 기반의 설계 명세 언어인 STATECAHRT를 이용하여 원자력 발전소 제어 시스템을 명세하고 이를 모델 체킹 검증 도구인 SMV로 검증함으로써 시스템의 신뢰성을 높이고 실시간 safety-critical 시스템의 설계 및 검증에 대한 방법론을 제시한다. 본 연구에서는 [6]의 논문의 명세 오류를 수정하여 명세 및 검증을 수행하였다.

  • The existing PKI authentication structure uses the OCSP method. The primary task of OCSP is to verify the status of a transaction after verifying the validity of the certificate; but, because of continuing policy changes and updates within the PKI authentication method, the status of certificates and the structures are not consistent. Therefore, the SCVP method can be selected as the broadest method for completing authentication tasks accurately because the SCVP method includes validation of policy changes. An appropriate method for building an mobile environment within the capabilities of low-memory and reduced processing CPU needs to be assessed and developed. This thesis proposes a verification method that is independent of platform and applicable to any 05 in building and expanding the mobile environment.

  • RFID/USN, are recognized as the new growth engines for the future, regardless of the advanced and developing countries. RFID, in particular, already entered practical stage by global companies. EPCIS, which is the one of the EPC golabal network components, makes a huge load on the system due to the large amount of entering data by following events. In this study, a data model developed based on ER-WIN by collecting four kind information that occurred in the EPC global networks. This model supports both in processing of high performance and huge capacity of data by a considerable storage capacity and input speed. A simulation was developed in order to verify the performance. Each model tested several times and results were compared.

  • Railway system is a word that includes rolling stock, railway infrastructure and signalling System in passenger transfer and rail freight. This system get higher competitiveness in energy efficiency part than other transfer system. But it is comprehensive system has latent loss of lives and property by big accident. First of all, to control this comprehensive system and to confirm safety of it, we need human resource management. This research will suggest how to apply efficiency safety verification and certification system to railway system. human resource management systems is defined as three kinds that is recruitment and management, ensure personnel's competencies and fitness, activity of assigning suitable responsible person for work.

Durability Prediction of Door W/H System Using FEM Analysis (전면 도어 와이어하니스 시스템의 내구 수명 예측에 관한 연구)

  • In vehicle's door wiring harness (W/H) system is more toward to arrange a passenger compartment than a hinge and a weatherstrip. An opening/closing member of a vehicle is attached to a vehicle by a hinge in a manner enabling easy opening and closing of the opening/closing member. Such members include doors, such as side-doors and rear doors, and other opening/closing members, such as trunk lids. This article gives some insight into the dimensioning process, with special focus on large deflection analysis of wiring harness(W/H) in vehicle's door structures for durability problem. The Finite elements analysis for door wiring harness(W/H) is used for residual stresses and dimensional stability with bending flexible. Durability test data for slam test specimens were compared with the numerical predicted fatigue life for verification. The final testing of the component combines the effects of these microstructural features with the complex stress state arising from the combined service loading and residual stresses.

  • To give a solution to solve personal information problems issued in this study, the domestic and overseas cases about information security management system including an authentication technique are analyzed. To preserve the outflow of personal information, which is such a major issue all over the world, a new security audit check list is also proposed. We hope this study to help information system developers construct and operate confidential information systems through the three steps: Analysis of risk factors that expose personal information, Proposal to solve the problem, Verification of audit checking items.
