The Distribution Condition and Clothing Construction Factors of the Working Clothes - Reference to the Changwon National Industrial Complex -

  • To investigate the actual distribution condition and clothing construction factors of the working clothes supplied to the Changwon national industrial complex, 5 major companies in machinery, automotive, industrial engineering, shipbuilding and rolling stock in the industrial complex located in Gyeongsangnam-Do were selected. The questionnaire designed for the research consisted of working clothes distribution policies in manufacturing industry and the actual conditions of the design facts, repair and maintenance of the working clothes, etc. The analysis of the clothing construction factors of the working clothes provided by 5 respondent companies were conducted in parallel. The results derived from the study were as follows: The basic types of working clothes were the blouson jacket and straight pants; safety equipments for manufacture were safety helmets, gloves, snickers, goggles, masks, ear caps, wristlets, leggings, apron, etc. The size-charts adopted by the participant companies were the small-medium-large and cm/inch measurement size systems. To solve wearer's dissatisfaction with the garment fit, certain clothing construction factors were used, e.g. strap bands and the elastic band on a waist band. The types of fabrics used for the working clothes were mainly polyester/cotton and polyester/rayon blended ones. Moreover, to provide with more air permeability to wearers, the warp knit material was used to construct the lining and the armpit or back bodice slits. Lock, two-thread chain, safety, overedge stitches were applied with flat, lap felled, French, superimposed, lapped, bound and edge finishing seams to construct the working clothes selected.

  • Heights of a platform above the rail for the passenger train in the country are classified into two categories such as the low level (500mm; mainline) and the high level (1,135mm; metropolitan subway line) platforms. In order to operate similarly both a mainline railroad and a metropolitan subway line, as the requisite door safety system, it is necessary to develop the doorstep equipment of the rolling stock regardless of both the low and high level platforms. In this study, the application of doorstep equipments to use mixed with two types of platforms are examined on the supposition that the train only for the low level platform stops in the both low and high level platforms.

  • We are concerned with a long-term replenishment contract for the ARIMA demand process in a supply chain. The chain is composed of one supplier, one buyer and consumers for a product. The replenishment contract is based upon the well-known (s, Q) policy but allows us to contract future replenishments at a time with a price discount. Due to the larger forecast error of future demand, the buyer should keep a higher level of safety stock to provide the same level of service as the usual (s, Q) policy. However, the buyer can reduce his purchase cost by ordering a larger quantity at a discounted price. Hence, there exists a trade-off between the price discount and the inventory holding cost. For the ARIMA demand process, we present a model for the contract and an algorithm to find the number of the future replenishments. Numerical experiments show that the proposed algorithm is efficient and accurate.

생산-재고시스템에서 수요의 변동이 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Demand Variability in Production-Inventory Systems)

  • 본 연구에서는 공급리드타임이 한정된 용량을 가진 생산시스템에 의해서 내부적으로 결정되어지는 다품종 재고시스템에서의 제품의 수요변동이 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 공급리드타임이 시스템의 외부에서 결정되어 주어지는 경우와는 달리 리드타임 수요의 변동이 제품 수요의 변동이 증가할 때 실제 감소하는 결과를 보였다. 또한, 수요의 변동이 증가할 때 전체 재고 중 안전재고의 비율이 감소되는 것도 보였다. 더 나아가서 수요 변동의 크기가 어느 정도 이상으로 커지면 안전재고가 완전히 제거되는 사실도 입증하였다. 이 같은 결과는 제품수요의 변동이 매우 클 때 리드타임 수요의 변동을 줄이기 위한 전략은 별로 효용이 없음을 보여준다.

  • In order to operate trains both mainline railroad platform and metropolitan subway line platform, it is necessary to develop the door step equipment of the rolling stock regardless of low(500mm, mainline) and high level platforms(1,135mm, metropolitan subway line) because of the requisite door safety system. In this study, TMS-DCU interface is studied for low and high level railway platforms. As a result, Design circuit of TMS(Train Management System)-DCU(Door Control Unit) interface is suitable for telescopic sliding type doorstep unit to minimize damage to the carbody underframe of railway vehicles.

구매비용할인을 고려한 다회보충계약 (Multiple Replenishment Contract with Purchase Price Discount)

  • We are concerned with a multiple replenishment contract with a purchase price discount in a supply chain. The chain is composed of one supplier, one buyer and consumers for a product. The replenishment contract is based upon the well-known (s, Q) policy but allows contracting several firmed orders at a time with a price discount. Due to a larger forecast error of the future demand, the buyer should keep a higher level of safety stock to provide the same level of service of the usual (s, Q) policy but can reduce his purchase cost by placing larger quantity. Thus there exists a trade-off between the price discount and inventory holding cost. We present a model for the contract and an algorithm to find the optimum number of the firmed orders. Computer experiments show that the algorithm finds the global optimum solution very fast.

공동주택의 유지관리전문인력 육성에 관한 연구 (Study on Promotion of the Maintenance Engineers for Multiple Dwellings)

  • The industrialized countries have promoted the rehabilitation of existing housing units as a national agenda, such as green policies, whereas korea, although having a housing stock as huge as that of world countries, have focused on the growth of housing by constructing new units rather than rehabilitating existing ones. Today, it has been so long since many multiple dwellings in Seoul and in the vicinity of Seoul were constructed. There were, however, very few political efforts to encourage the rehabilitation of housing. Today, substantial time has passed since multiple dwellings in Seoul and the first-stage new cities such as Bundang and Ilsan were constructed. What is required to maintain the quality of the existing housing and use it with safety is to promote the engineer of maintenance for multiple dwellings to work the maintenance of existing multiple dwellings. The objective of this study is to compare and analyze the maintenance qualification system of multiple dwellings of Japan, and then to propose to raise engineers of maintenance for multiple dwellings in korea.

알루미늄 철도차량 차체 제작 및 도장 기술 개발 (Development of Construction and Painting Technology for the Aluminum Carbody of Rolling stock)

  • Based on the development of designed technology for aluminum carbody. the prototype aluminum carbody has been constructed. All extrusion profiles required for the carbody has been produced and their quality has also been proven. For sound construction. welding technology to join aluminum extrusion profiles has been developed and jigs for precise assembly of blocks have been made. The aluminum carbody for urban subway train has been completed with the required chamber being set and the welding deformations being constrained by jigs. The safety of the carbody structure has also been proven by the static load test. And also, painting technology has been developed and the surface of the carbody has been pre-treated and painted. The developed technology to construct the aluminum carbody can be used in mass production of aluminum cars ordered by domestic and foreign customers.

  • The most important thing to secure safety and reliability of railway vehicles is to verify performance characteristics of equipments, and related companies or research institutes had many efforts to verify performances and functions of equipments synthetically and efficiently. KHST(Korean High Speed Train) has been developed by KRRI (Korea Railroad Research Institute). An electric railway system is composed of high-tech subsystems, among which main electric equipment such as transformers and converter are critical components determining the performance of rolling stock. We developed a measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of performances of KHST. The measurement system is composed of software part and hardware part. Perfect interface between multi-users is possible. A new method to measure temperature was applied to the ]measurement system. By using the system, fault diagnosis and performance evaluation of electric equipment in Korean High Speed Train was conducted during test running.
