60 GHz 무선 LAN의 응용을 위한 고이득 저잡음 증폭기에 관한 연구 (Studies on the High-gain Low Noise Amplifier for 60 GHz Wireless Local Area Network)

  • 본 논문에서는 60 GHz 무선 LAN(wireless local area network) 응용을 위해 0.1 ㎛ Γ-gate pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor(PHEMT)를 이용하여 V-band용 millimeter-wave monolithic integrated circuit(MIMIC) 저잡음 증폭기를 설계 및 제작하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 PHEMT의 DC 특성으로 드레인 포화 전류 밀도(Idss)는 450 mA/mm, 최대 전달컨덕턴스(gm, max)는 363.6 mS/mm를 얻었으며, RF 특성으로 전류이득 차단주파수(fT)는 113 GHz, 최대 공진 주파수(fmax)는 180 GHz의 성능을 나타내었다. V-band MIMIC 저잡음 증폭기의 개발을 위해 PHEMT의 비선형 모델과 CPW 라이브러리를 구축하였으며, 이를 이용하여 V-band MIMIC 저잡음 증폭기를 설계하였다. 설계된 V-band MIMIC 저잡음 증폭기는 본 연구에서 개발된 PHEMT 기반의 MIMIC 공정을 이용해 제작되었으며, V-band MIMIC 저잡음 증폭기의 측정결과, 60 GHz에서 S21이득은 21.3 dB, 입력반사계수는 -10.6 dB 그리고 62.5 GHz에서 출력반사계수는 -29.7 dB의 특성을 나타내었다. V-band MIMIC 저잡음 증폭기의 잡음지수 측정결과, 60 GHz에서 4.23 dB의 특성을 나타내었다.

MHEMT를 이용한 DC ∼ 45 GHz CPW 광대역 분산 증폭기 설계 및 제작 (DC ∼ 45 GHz CPW Wideband Distributed Amplifier Using MHEMT)

  • 본 논문에서는 0.1 $\mum$ InGaAs/InAlAs/GaAs Metamorphic HEMT (High Electron Mobility Transistor)를 이용하여 DC~45 GHz 대역의 광대역 MIMIC(Millimeter-wave Monolithic Integrated Circuit) 분산 증폭기를 설계 및 제작하였다. MIMIC 증폭기의 제작을 위해 Metamorphic HEMT(MHEMT)를 설계 및 제작하였으며, 제작된 MHEMT는 드레인 전류 밀도 442 mA/mm, 최대 전달컨덕턴스(Gm)는 409 mS/mm를 얻었다. RF 특성으로 fT는 140 GHz fmax는 447 GHz의 양호한 성능을 나타내었다. 광대역 MIMIC 분산 증폭기의 설계를 위해 MHEMT의 소신호 모델과 CPW 라이브러리를 구축하였으며, 이를 이용하여 MIMIC 분산 증폭기를 설계하였다. 설계된 분산 증폭기는 본 연구에서 개발된 MHEMT MIMIC 공정을 이용하여 제작하였으며, MIMIC 분산 증폭기의 측정결과, DC ~ 45 GHz대역에서 6 dB 이상의 S21 이득을 얻었으며, 입력반사 계수는 45 GHz에서 -10 dB, 출력반사계수는 -7 dB의 특성을 나타내었다. 제작된 분산 증폭기의 칩 크기는 2.0 mm$\times$l.2 mm다.

위암 검출에서 혈중 Pepsinogen검사의 의의 (The Role of Serum Pepsinogen in Detection of Gastric Cancer)

  • 목적: 정상인과 위암 환자의 혈중 Pepsinogen (PG)농도를 비교 분석하여 선별검사로서 이용가능성 및 위암의 임상 조직학적 요소와의 상관 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2008년 11월부터 2009년 5월까지 대구가톨릭대학병원에서 내시경상 특이소견이 없는 정상인과 위선암 환자의 수술 전 혈중 PG농도를 측정하였다. 위암진단의 선별검사로서의 이용가능성을 알아 보기 위해 receiver operator characteristics (ROC) curves를 이용하여 가장 유용한 검사법을 선별하였고, 위암 조직과의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 특정 기준치에 따라 임상 조직학적 요소를 비교 분석하였다. 결과:선별검사로서 혈중 PG I/II 비율이 가장 유용하였고, 기준치에 따른 민감도, 특이도는 81.8%, 82%로 나타났다. 임상 조직학적 요소 중 Lauren분류에 따른 종양의 아형(P=0.003), TNM 병기의 T 병기(P=0.001), 및 종양주위의 만성 위축성 위염(P=0.036)을 동반한 위선암이 특정기준치(cut off point)값에 의미 있는 관련을 보였다. 결론: 본 연구는 정상 대조군의 수가 적어 선별검사로서 혈중 PG측정의 유용성을 논하기에는 부족하나, 위암의 선별검사로서 이용 가능성 및 임상 조직학적 요소와 의미 있는 관련을 보여 차후 추가연구가 필요할 것으로 생각한다.

높은 $f_{max}$ 를 갖는 InGaAs/InAlAs MHEMT 의 Pad 설계 (Modification of CPW Pad Design for High fmax InGaAs/InAlAs Metamorphic High Electron Mobility Transistors)

  • In this paper, we have performed a study that modifies the CPW Pad configurations to improve an $f_{max}$ characteristic of metamorphic HEMT. To analyze the CPW Pad structures of MHEMT, we use the ADS momentum simulator developed by $Agilent^{TM}$. Comparing the employed structure (G/W = 40/100 m), the optimized structure (G/W = 20/25 m) of CPW MHEMT shows the increased $S_{21}$ by 2.5 dB, which is one of the dominant parameters influencing the $f_{max}$ of MHEMT. To compare the performances of optimized MHEMT with the employed MHEMT, DC and RF characteristics of the fabricated MHEMT were measured. In the case of optimized CPW MHEMT, the measured saturated drain current density and transconductance $(g_m)$ were 693 mA/mm and 647 mS/mm, respectively. RF measurements were performed in a frequency range of $0.1{\sim}110$ GHz. A high $S_{21}$ gain of 5.5 dB is shown at a millimeter-wave frequency of 110 GHz. Two kinds of RF gains, $h_{21}$ and maximum available gain (MAG), versus the frequency, and a cut-off frequency ($f_t$) of ${\sim}154$ GHz and a maximum frequency of oscillation ($f_{max}$) of ${\sim}358$ GHz are obtained, respectively, from the extrapolation of the RF gains for a device biased at a peak transconductance. An optimized CPW MHEMT structure is one of the first reports among fabricated 0.1 m gate length MHEMTs.

부추 수확기 개발을 위한 예취 및 이송특성 구명 (Cutting and Conveying Characteristics for Development of Chinese Leek Harvester)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the main factors that contain a rotating velocity ratio between wheel and conveyor belt, a tilt angle of conveyor belt and a rotating velocity of a dick cutter for mechanization of Chinese leek harvest. In the survey on the cultivation of Chinese leek, row spacing of 350 m and cutting height of 10 mm from the ground were set up for field tests. Test equipment was designed to cut, pick up and convey Chinese leek one row by one row. From the results of material tests, pick-up height of conveyor belt was set up at $60\~90m$ from the bottom, and the strain and stress at rupture of Chinese leek was 0.487 m/m and 0.01078 MPa. An elastic coefficient of the rubber (Neoprene) of conveyor belts was 1.1077 under the strain of 0.3 nym. from the results of field tests, the tilt angle of conveyor belt was the range of $25^{\circ}\~30^{\circ}$ under consideration far space of container, the velocity ratio between vehicle and conveying belt was 1 to 2.4~1.7 at 0.1~0.3 m/s of vehicle, and optimum rotating velocity of the disk cutter was 34.8 m/s or more under consideration for soil friction.

의류수출업체의 업무과정 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Work Process Analysis of Korean Apparel Exporters)

  • This study aimed to systematize the apparel vendor work processes and provide useful information to future employees of clothing export units by analyzing the processes of vendors' manufacturing tasks. A survey of 20 apparel vendors servicing mainly U.S. buyers was conducted on employees of overseas business departments working for more than five years. buyers. Based on the results, vendors mainly manufactured cut-and-sew knit products. Regarding the production method, OEM was used more frequently than ODM. Fourteen (70%) companies used the ODM method. This suggests that vendors are expanding their production method from OEM to ODM. In order to summarize the work of each business based on the clothing production process research results, buyers were in charge of planning products and the vendors were in charge of sampling. Production of materials and the approval of material tests were out sourced. Overseas factories of vendors were in charge of bulk (mass) production and garment finishing, as well as packaging and shipping the completed products. Even though the vendors' head offices do not directly produce clothes, they play a pivotal role in ensuring planning and management progress in clothing production. As buyers prefer direct contracts for cost reduction, the vendor additionally performs the role of an agent. Also, with the increase in ODM production ratio, the work area of the vendor is expanding. If Korean clothing exporters improve their global competitiveness by investing in the R&D of materials and design to enhance the ODM method, the development of Korea's clothing and export industry will benefit significantly.

중합효소연쇄반응법을 이용한 급성 치수 및 치근단 질환의 병원성 세균의 동정 (IDENTIFICATION OF PUTATIVE PATHOGENS IN ACUTE ENDODONTIC INFECTIONS BY PCR BASED ON 16S rDNA)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the frequency of 7 putative pathogens in endodontic infections. The specimens were collected from infected pulpal tissue of patients who were referred for root canal treatment to the department of conservative dentistry, Chosun University Samples were collected aseptically using a barbed broach and a paper point. The cut barbed broaches and paper points were transferred to an eppendorf tube containing 500 ml of 1 X PBS. DNAs were extracted from the samples by direct DNA extraction method using lysis buffer (0.5% EDTA, 1% Triton X-100). Identification of 7 putative pathogens was performed by PCR based on 16S rDNA. The target species were as follows : Porphyromonas endodontalis, Porphyromonas gingivalis, Prevotella intermedia, Prevotella nigrescens, Bacteroides forsythus, Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans, and Treponema denticola. Our data revealed that the prevalence of P. endodontalis was found in 88.6% (39/54), P. ginivalis 52.3% (23/44), P. nigrescens 18.2% (8/44), P intermedia 15.9% (7/44) B. forsythus 18.2% (8/44), A. actinomycetemcomitans 3.3% (1/44), T. denticola 25% (l1/44) of the samples. The high prevalence of P. endodontalis and P. ginivalis suggests that they may play an important role in the etiology of endodontic infections.

여자의 사랑, 행위 그리고 정치 - 와즈디 무아와드의 <그을린 사랑> - (A Study on Wajdi Mouawad's 'Incendies' based on Lacanian Thoughts of the Woman)

  • This article re-reads the messages of the text, 'Incendies', the uncanny actions and the strange words of protagonist Nawal, through the ideas of Jacques Lacan, particularly his notion of sexuation with posing questions about most of the previous reviews which are based on femininity or motherhood. For Lacan, masculinity and femininity are not biological essences but symbolic positions, and the assumption of one of these two positions is fundamental to the construction of subjectivity. So 'man' and 'woman' are merely signifiers that stand for these two subjective positions. Each side is defined by both an affirmation and a negation of the phallic function, by both an inclusion and exclusion of absolute non-phallic jouissance. Unlike the man, the woman is 'not-all' identified with the phallic function, demonstrating the undecidability and impossibility of totalising the woman. Although the woman is bound to do castration through being subject to the phallic function, she is also related to the signifier of the barred Other, S(Ⱥ) which stands for a gap or lack in the Other. Thus, as a consequence of not being entirely within the symbolic, she has an Other Jouissance, Feminine Jouissance, because it's possible to face emptiness of the Symbolic, the Real only in the place of the woman for new Ethics/Politics. This paper finds that Nawal is not completely defined by the phallic function and she is a subject of death drive that practices the signifying cut with passing through the fantasy as a screen for the desire of the Other. Nawal is situated on the position of the woman as 'not-all' unlike masculinity in Lacanian sexuation. This article shows that her strange acts are love, that is the true ethical acts. Above all her acts are related to the ethics of pure desire beyond the ethics of the Good of Aristotle. In that sense the character of Nawal of 'Incendies' is similar to the one of 'Antigone' as a character in all aspects. In psychoanalysis they all are true subjects that face a void, emptiness in a symbolic structure. They assume underlying impossibility of being/the Symbolic. They don't represent the images of compromise and peace in the normally accepted meaning of the word. A love that they show is not compassion but blind recognition of the excluded, embracing uniqueness of the excluded. This thesis finds resultingly Nawal's acts which can't be understood from viewpoint of feminism practice the ethics of the real, the politics of the real.

투명 fiber 포스트를 통한 광중합형 접착레진의 중합 반응 (CURING REACTION OF THE LIGHT CURED FLOWABLE COMPOSITE RESINS THROUGH THE ENDODONTIC TRANSLUCENT FIBER POST)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and substitute possibility of a newly developed flowable composite resins as a luting cement for translucent fiber post. Material & Method: Two kinds of 12 mm translucent fiber Post (D.T. Light-Post (Bisco, USA) and FRC Postec (Ivoclar vivadent, Liechtenstein) was inserted into the teflon mold (7 mm diameter, 9 mm long) and Filtek-Flow (3M ESPE. USA), a light activated flowable composite resin, was polymerized for 60 seconds through the post. Also, the post was cut from the tip to 9 mm, 6 mm, 3 mm, and Filtek-Flow was light cured according to each length. For comparison, 60 seconds light-cured and 24 hours self-cured two dual cured resin cement (Duo-cement (Bisco, USA) and 2 Panavia-F (Kuraray, Japan)) samples were prepared as control group. Also cavities (1 mm in width, 1 mm in depth and 12 mm in length) were prepared using acrylic plate and aluminum bar, and flowable composite resin was flied and light cured by the diffused light from the fiber post's side wall. The degree of polymerization was measured according to the distance from curing light using Vickers' hardness test. Result: Within the limitation of this study, the following conclusions were drawn: 1. Vickers' hardness of light cured dual cured resin cement and flowable composite resin decreased from Panavia-F, Filtek-Flow and Duo-cement accordingly (p<0.05). In the dual curing resin cement, light curing performed group showed higher surface hardness value than self cured only group (p<0.05). 2. Surface hardness ratio (light cured through fiber post /directly light cured) of D.T. Light-Post using Filtek-Flow showed about 70% in the 6 mm deep and about 50% in the 12 mm deep FRC Postec showed only 40% of surface hardness ratio. 3. Surface hardness ratio by diffused light from the post's side wall showed about 50% at 6 mm and 9 mm deep, and about 40% at 12 mm deep in D.T. Light-Post. However, FRC Postec showed about 40% at 6 mm deep, and almost no polymerization in 9 mm and 12 mm deep.

MHEMT를 이용한 광대역 특성의 밀리미터파 Cascode 증폭기 연구 (Research on Broadband Millimeter-wave Cascode Amplifier using MHEMT)

  • 본 논문에서는 밀리미터파 대역에서 광대역 특성을 갖는 MHEMT (Metamorphic High Electron Mobility Transistor) cascode 증폭기를 설계 및 제작하였다. Cascode 증폭기 제작을 위해 먼저 $0.1{\mu}m$ InGaAs/InAlAs/GaAs MHEMT를 설계 및 제작하였다. 제작된 MHEMT는 드레인 전류 밀도가 670 mA/mm이고, 최대 전달컨덕턴스(gm)는 688 mS/mm이며, 주파수 특성으로 전류이득 차단 주파수($f_T$)는 139 GHz, 최대 공진 주파수($f_{max}$)는 266 GHz의 특성을 나타내었다. 설계된 cascode 증폭기는 회로의 발진을 막기 위해서 저항과 캐패시터를 commom gate 소자의 드레인이 병렬로 연결하였다. Cascode 증폭기는 CPW (Coplanar Waveguide) 전송선로를 이용하여 광대역 특성을 얻을 수 있도록 정합회로를 설계하였다. 설계된 증폭기는 본 실험실에서 개발된 MHEMT MMIC 공정을 이용해 제작되었다. 제작된 cascode 증폭기의 측정결과, 3 dB 대역폭이 20.76$\sim$71.13 GHz로 50.37 GHz의 넓은 대역 특성을 얻었으며, 대역내에서 평균 7.07 dB 및 30 GHz에서 최대 10.3 dB의 S21 이득 특성을 나타내었다.
