  • This paper presents a method of improving performance of an electromagnetic clutch for the next generation tank gun. One of the most important things in the design of the clutch is to satisfy the requirement for the maximum torque even if the torque is varied. To achieve this requirement, it is needed to expand the operation range of the torque. Consequently, we have performed shape changes in order to cancel magnetic flux bottlenecks on the magnetic path. Simulation results from the finite element method show that the method proposed in this paper is proper for the clutch.

  • Currently, aortal surveying is getting advanced in the world. New digital equipment for aerial surveying makes improvement of accuracy, economical efficiency and reduces cost. for a result, however, there are required to produce a accurate product. In this study, we used two kinds of data, the one which used only GPS/INS data and the other one which used GPS/INS data added on GCPs from digital maps, and made as a mosaic to compare both of them whether which one is better based on digital maps. the result is that the data which used GPS/INS data added on GCPs from digital maps was a lot better than GPS/INS data.

  • An attitude GPS receiver with 3 antennas obtains 3-dimensional attitude using GPS carrier phase measurement INS obtains the 3 dimensional navigation solution for IMU consisting of accelerometers and gyro. Ground-alignment process for the low -cost INS cannot be performed well due to the large sensor noise. Using the standard GPS receiver, however, continuous in-flight alignment for the INS becomes possible, and consequently, the errors in IMU sensors and navigation solution can be compensated. Especially with attitude measurement from the attitude GPS receiver, the compensation of errors in gyroscope and attitude would be done respite of the vehicle´s dynamics and their error covariance would be reduced.   • 본 논문에서는 심층 결합 GPS/INS 통합 항법 시스템의 A/J 성능 평가를 위한 실험 시스템 구성 및 평가 결과를 제시하고자 한다. 심층 결합 GPS/INS 통합 항법 시스템에서는 일반적인 수신기의 A/J 성능 판단 기준인 'loss-of-lock'을 이용하여 성능을 판단하기 어렵기 때문에 실험 시스템을 구성하여 성능을 평가하고자 한다. 구성된 실험 시스템을 이용하면 여러가지 간섭 신호에 대한 실험이 가능하며, 실험 결과에서 심층 결합 GPS/INS 통합 항법 시스템의 성능이 A/J 기법 중 하나인 INS의 속도 정보를 신호 추적 루프에 인가하는 기법보다 우수하다는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

  • For a vehicle to follow a reference path accurately, its position must be estimated accurately and reliably. In this paper, we propose a lateral control algorithm for autonomous navigation of a vehicle via USAT(Ultrasonic Satellite System), which is an absolute position measurement system using an ultrasonic wave and INS(Inertial Navigation System) integration. In order to estimate the vehicle's parameters, a J-turn test is used. And the autonomous navigation performances of proposed lateral control algorithm and validity of proposed lateral control algorithm are verified and evaluated by simulation and experiments.

A Insurance-Medical Study on Ultrasonographic Findings of Fatty Liver (지방간(脂放肝)의 초음파소견(超音波所見)에 관(關)한 보험의학적(保險醫學的) 연구(硏究))

  • We'd experienced 172 cases of fatty liver among 3,713 cases, that was examined by ultrasonography at medical department, Dae Han Kyoyuk Ins. company for recent one year from november, 1984 to November, 1985. The conclusions are as follows; 1. The possessing rate of fatty liver is 4.63% in total caees 138/2234 male(6.18%), 34/2234 female(2.3%) and that in male is 2.7 times than female. 2. In the distribution of fatty liver for age, the group of $21{\sim}30$ years are 9/564 cases(1.6%), the group of $31{\sim}40$ years are 74/1777, the group of $41{\sim}50$ years are 59/976(6.05%),the group of $51{\sim}60$ years are 29/240(12.08%) with age, the possessing rate of fatty liver was increased. 3. For sex, age, the possessing rate of fatty liver, in male $21{\sim}30$ years 8/329 cases(2.43%), $31{\sim}40$ years 64/118(5.72%) $41{\sim}50$ years 43/618(6.96%), $51{\sim}60$ years 22/134(16.42%) and in female, $21{\sim}30$ years 1/335(0.3%), $31{\sim}40$ years 10/659(1.52%) $41{\sim}50$ years 16/358(4.47%), $51{\sim}60$ years 7/106(6.6%) and then in total sex, with age, the incidence was increased. 4. 172 cases in fatty liver, we could find 109 cases of obesity(63.37%), in female the rate was more. 5. The abnormal was 13.95% for the level of Fasting blood sugar of fatty liver 172 cases, the average level of blood sugar was high markedly in female, on the contrary the number of abnormal blood sugar level was high in male. 6. In liver function test of 172 cases of fatty liver, the abnormal of sGOT value was 18.6%, sGOT value 20.93%, average of abnormal group in sGOT value was 52.62 units, sGPT value 56.99 units.

Observability Analysis of INS/GNSS System for Vehicles Moving with a Large Pitch Angle Change (피치각 변화가 큰 궤적에서의 INS/GNSS 통합항법 시스템 가관측성 분석)

  • The most widely used method for constructing an inertial navigation system (INS)/global navigation satellite system (GNSS) coupling system is to construct an integrated navigation system using a Kalman filter. However, depending on the trajectory, non-observable state variables may be generated. In this case, the state variables are not estimated. To solve this problem, a integrated navigation system is constructed and then an observability analysis is performed. In this paper, a 24th order position-matched Kalman filter is defined to design an INS/GNSS integrated navigation system for vehicles moving with a large pitch angle change. To verify the appropriateness of the error state variables applied to the Kalman filter, an observability analysis was performed. The trajectory was divided into five segments, and the piece-wise constant system (PWCS) was assumed for each segment, and the results were analytically analyzed. The analytical results and the simulation results confirm that the error state parameters of the Kalman filter are well-designed to the estimation side.

  • The glycosylated human MINPP (multiple inositol polyphosphate phosphatase), which was recombinantly over-expressed by using industrial host, Pichia pastoris, showed the phytase activity against phytate ($InsP_6$) and the enzyme activity of the unglycosylated counterpart was decreased to 30%. The optimal phytase activity occurred at pH 7.4. The human MINPP showed high substrate specificity for $InsP_6$ with little activity on other organic phosphate conjugates such as para-nitrophenylphosphate (pNPP), ATP, and ribose-1-phosphate (R-1-P). The phosphatase activity against 2,3-bisphosphoglycerate (2,3-BPG) by human MINPP was increased to 1.2-fold in the presence of stimulator, 1 mM 2-phosphoglycolate (2-PG) but the phytase activity against $InsP_6$ was not affected by addition of 1 mM 2-PG. The phosphatase activity against 2,3-BPG by human MINPP was not increased in the presence of 2 mM $Mg^{2+}$ or 100 mM $Cl^-$.

  • Maximum lock-on distance in tactical guidance missile using seeker image is estimated by seeker's FOV, resolution and performance of tracking algorithm. In case, a missile is launched beyond the maximum lock-on distance, the missile is guided by INS pure navigation until it enters the lock-on possible zone. However, the probability of a target's existence within seekers images decreases as flight time goes by. Therefore, it is crucial to determine the distance that satisfies a certain target existence probability (TEP) and the maximum lock-on distance in order for an operator to take over the navigation role between two distances. In this paper, simulation which can analyse TEP in tactical guided missile seeker image is designed.

MLP Based Real-Time Gravity Disturbance Compensation in INS Embedded Computer (다층 레이어 퍼셉트론 기반 INS 내장형 컴퓨터에서의 실시간 중력교란 보상)

  • In this paper, a real-time prediction technique for gravity disturbances is proposed using a multi-layer perceptron (MLP) model. To select a suitable MLP model, 4 models with different network sizes were designed to compare the training accuracy and execution time. The MLP models were trained using the data of vehicle moving along the surface of the sea or land, including their positions and gravity disturbance. The gravity disturbances were calculated using the 2160th degree and order EGM2008 with SHM. Among the models, MLP4 demonstrated the highest training accuracy. After training, the weights and biases of the 4 models were stored in the embedded computer of the INS to implement the MLP network. MLP4 was found to have the shortest execution time among the 4 models. These research results are expected to contribute to improving the navigation accuracy of INS through gravity disturbance compensation in the future.
