Calibration of Laser scanning Mobile Mapping System using Lynx Mobile Mapper (Lynx Mobile Mapper를 이용한 레이저스캐너 기반 차량 MMS의 캘리브레이션)

  • In this paper, we carried out calibration of laser scanning MMS(Mobile Mapping System) using Lynx Mobile Mapper, a new MMS developed at Optech Incorporated. Laser scanning MMS could be defined as an integration of several subsystems. Subsystems are composed of laser scanner, gps receiver and antenna, INS(Inertial Navigation System), DMI(Distance Measurement Instrument). These are obtained 3D spatial information by direct-georeferencing technology. To obtain 3D spatial information, calibration of laser scanning MMS is required prior to operation system, it is similar to airborme lidar system. 145 checkpoints were used to accuracy estimation. The accuracy results are about 5cm(RMSE) for calibration in all directions(east, north, ellipsoidal height).

  • An INS(Inertial Navigation System) is composed of a navigation computer and an IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit), and can be applied to estimate a vehicle's state. But the inertial sensors assembled in the IMU are too complicated and expensive to use for the general application purpose. In this study, a new concept of inertial sensor system using magnetic levitation is proposed. The proposed system is expected to replace one single-axis rate or position gyroscope, and one single-axis accelerometer concurrently with a relatively simple structure. A simulation of the proposed system is given to describe the capability of this new concept.

  • 우리나라는 성능기반항행(PBN)으로 전환하기 위한 단계적 PBN 이행계획을 2010년에 수립하고 로드맵에 따른 새로운 비행절차를 개발 중에 있다. PBN 비행절차에는 GNSS, DME, INS 등의 항법시스템이 활용되는 것으로 되어있다. 그 중에서 GNSS를 이용한 PBN 업무제공이 중심을 이루고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 위성항법신호의 인위적, 자연적 간섭에 의한 취약성이 발견됨에 따라 세계 각국은 다양한 대안항법 기술을 연구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 GNSS 신호가 가용하지 않을 경우 기존의 항행시스템으로 지속적인 PBN 운항이 가능한지를 검토해 보고, 필요시 활용할 수 있는 적절한 대안항법을 논의하고자 한다.

지형참조항법시스템의 발전 동향

  • 본 고는 국내외의 지형참조항법시스템 관련 기술의 발전 동향을 살펴보고자 한다. 지형참조항법은 국외에서 1940년대부터 그 필요성이 대두된 학문으로 잠수정, 군용 전투기 등 다양한 분야에서 주로 군사목적으로 연구가 진행되었다. 1950년 ATRAN의 개발을 시작으로 1990년대 PTAN 지형참조항법기술까지 발전되어 무인기뿐만 아닌 Tomahawk 같은 유도무기에도 그 활용 범위를 넓혀가고 있다. 하지만 하드웨어적인 제약과 GPS의 발달로 관련 연구가 주춤하였으나 컴퓨터 기술의 발달, 지형측정센서의 정확도 향상과 더불어 GPS 교란 가능성 등이 부각되면서 최근 다시 관성항법시스템(INS)을 보조하는 대체 항법으로서 주목받고 있다. 주로 다중 측정치를 이용하는 방법과 비선형 필터를 이용하여 항법해 성능을 향상시키거나 병렬 다중필터를 이용하여 항법해의 신뢰성을 향상시키는 방향으로 연구가 진행 중이다. 그리고 다양한 지구물리데이터와 통합한 데이터베이스기반 복합항법 기술로 발전하고 있다.

  • This study proposes a method to reduce error scanning data of laser scanner. The method co of 3 stages. First, there is an error indu difference of the distance between the prob the object.   • An inertial navigation system for pedestrian position tracking is proposed, where the position is computed using inertial sensors mounted on shoes. Inertial navigation system(INS) errors increase with time due to inertial sensor errors, and therefore it needs to reset errors frequently. During normal walking, there is an almost periodic zero velocity instance when a foot touches the floor. Using this fact, estimation errors are reduced and this method is called the zero velocity updating algorithm. When implementing this zero velocity updating algorithm, it is important to know when is the zero velocity interval. The gait states are modeled as a Markov process and each state is estimated using the hidden Markov model smoother. With this gait estimation, the zero or nearly zero velocity interval is more accurately estimated, which helps to reduce the position estimation error.

  • Elimination of dangerous points is the most effective method for safety in mechanical equipments. The next effective method is recognized as isolation and/or safe-guarding of dangerous spots from human beings. With progress of mechanical automation technique such as industrial robots, the need for safe-guard-ins is now being enlarged. It is needless to say that when a machine-guard is designed and installed, a comprechensive understanding of human movement is indispensable. But in this country, there is no scientific for those thems, and no one verifield whether it is valid to apply general guideline such as OSHA's to Korean or not. Further, basic anthropometric items for safety reach standards are neither availble nor included in nation-wide anthropometry project. In this research, human anthropometry data of Korean youngsters are analyzed for safety barrier and safety slit width, and compared with guidelines of other countries-Germany, United Kingdom, Japan, and USA. Though they are standards for safety, since they are based upon their own peoples' data, some of them especially foot reach are not not applicable in this country. It should be notified that careful application of numeric value is very important.

  • 항법 장치의 특성을 이해하고 통합 필터를 설계하기 위한 기본 도구로 많이 활용되는 것이 시뮬레이션 도구이다. 이것은 실재 시스템을 구현할 때 부딪히는 각종 어려움으로부터 벗어나, 비교적 쉽게 성능분석을 할 수 있다는 장점 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 윈도우 기반의 전산 모의 소프트웨어를 개발하고, 이 프로그램을 이용하여 GPS와 INS 등의 센서를 이용한 복합 지상항법 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다.

  • This paper provides the result of the analysis of the lightening arresters which were disconnected from the power line due to the overvoltage having high current. The effect of thermal runaway on the microstructures of lightening arrester's block was intensively investigated. The chance of the microstructures of the blocks was limited only on the breakdown paths and near them. Also even though a disconnector was disconnected from the arrester, some of the lightening arrester were showed normal characteristics.

  • In order to see the effect of die deformation on the forming of sheet metal, the draw-ins, strains, and springbacks of an automotive fender panels are numerically simulated considering the die deformation found by the simultaneous structural analysis of press and dies. The comparison of the forming analysis result between the rigid die and the deformed die layout shows that the deformed tool provides more accurate forming and springback result.
