Objectives : This study is designed to evaluate correlation between the data of D.I.T,I examination in Bell's palsy and the improving period. Methods : This study researched into the clinical statistics for 50 patients who are in Bell's palsy and they are treated with oriental medical care of Dongshin university during 18months from January 1, 2005 to June 1, 2006. The data which examinated by D.I.T.I, are the thermal difference of normal and abnormal site of acupuncture int Gl4 BL2 GB3 S3 S4 S6 TE17 in Bell's palsy. Result : There was statistic significance between thermal difference of normal, abnormal site and the improving period. The period was shorter in normal thermal pattern than hypothermal pattern, hyperthermal pattern. Conclusion : According to the result, there was a statistic significance that more thermal difference and more difficult to recover in Bell's palsy.

본 논문에서는 S-DMB(Satellite Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) 수신기 에 인접 한 UWB 기기로부터의 방사전력이 S-DMB 수신기에 미치는 간섭 영향을 분석한다. 우선 S-DMB 수신기의 사양에 맞추어 C/N$_{o}$을 유도한 후 ITU-R에서 권고한 S-DMB 수신부의 C/(N$_{o}$+I)와 I/N$_{o}$의 관점에서 UWB 간섭을 이론적으로 분석한다. 분석 결과에 입각해서 수신기가 간섭을 받지 않는 이격거리를 유도하고 또한 최소 이격거리(1 m로 가정)에서 간섭을 받지 않을 수 있는 UWB 방사 전력 한도를 제시하고 FCC 권고값과 비교한다

I.S.A 전자식 생사검사 및 등급매기 방법에 따라 조사를 실시, 그 성적을 등급매기표에 적용한 결과를 다음과 같이 요약한다. 가. I.S.A 검사방법에 의거 매겨진 시험생사의 등급은 현행 우리나라의 검사바업에 의한 것보다 1개 등급 내지 2개 등급 낮은 등급으로 매겨진다. EH한 일본이나 중국의 방법보다도 낮게 평가되었다. 나. 섬도고름새(편차 또는 변동율)에 대한 I.S.A 검사방안에서의 등급결정 반영도를 우리나라의 것과 비교하면 편차 2.0 이상의 저급에 대하여는 크게 완화시켰으나 고급생사에 대하여는 2개 등급이상 강화시켰다. 다. 실무늬 결점에 대한 I.S.A 검사방법에서의 각 결정 반영도는 우리나라보다 1- 2개각을 완화시켰고, 일본이나 중국의 그것과 비슷하도록 되어 있다. 라. 현행 큰마디 검사를 대신하는 극세, 극태점(개/1,00m) 검사방법은 현행의 검사방법보다 1등급 내지 2개 등급 낮게 각부되었다. 마. 잔마디검사를 대신하는 I.S.A의 Nepsrja사는 현행보다 5개등급 이상 낮은 등급으로 판정될 수 있도록 극히 불량한 검사성적을 보임으로써 I.S.A 검사방법에서의 잔마디 결점에 대한 각결정 반영도를 대폭 강화하였다. 바. 8개 보조검사항목 중 신설한 소구간 섬도변동율(CV size 50m, %)의 등급결정 영향율은 높지 않으나 강력변동율(CV tenacity, %)과 신도변동율(CV elongation, %)의 반영도를 비교적 높게 정하고 있다. 사. 나머지 섬도최대편차, 평균강력, 평균신도, 재소 및 포합검사의 대한 등급결정영향도는 완화하였다.

D.K. Harrison [5] has shown that if R and S are fields of characteristic different from 2, then two Witt rings W(R) and W(S) are isomorphic if and only if W(R)/I(R)$^{3}$ and W(S)/I(S)$^{3}$ are isomorphic where I(R) and I(S) denote the fundamental ideals of W(R) and W(S) respectively. In [1], J.K. Arason and A. Pfister proved a corresponding result when the characteristics of R and S are 2, and, in [9], K.I. Mandelberg proved the result when R and S are commutative semi-local rings having 2 a unit. In this paper, we prove the result when R and S are 2-fold full rings. Throughout this paper, unless otherwise specified, we assume that R is a commutative ring having 2 a unit. A quadratic space (V, B, .phi.) over R is a finitely generated projective R-module V with a symmetric bilinear mapping B: V*V.rarw.R which is nondegenerate (i.e., the natural mapping V.rarw.Ho $m_{R}$ (V, R) induced by B is an isomorphism), and with a quadratic mapping .phi.:V.rarw.R such that B(x,y)=(.phi.(x+y)-.phi.(x)-.phi.(y))/2 and .phi.(rx)= $r^{2}$.phi.(x) for all x, y in V and r in R. Let A be a commutative integral domain with identity element and S a multiplicatively closed subset of A. In this paper, we introduce the concept of S-valuation domains as follows. The ring A is said to be an S-valuation domain if for every two ideals I and J of A, there exists s ∈ S such that either sI ⊆ J or sJ ⊆ I. We investigate some basic properties of S-valuation domains. Many examples and counterexamples are provided.

The purpose of this paper is to make a critique of racial aspects of Caribbean literature more ethical through a constant concern with history and political philosophy. The first step I take for this purpose is a comparative reading of C. L. R. James's view of Toussaint L'Ouverture's position and Frantz Fanon's view of race and class in the historical context of the Caribbean power-relations. In so doing, I examine how Toussaint's and Fanon's wills to negotiation were thwarted in the New World history. To elaborate upon this ethico-political approach, I have recourse to the so-called later Derrida, focusing on his books, such as The Politics of Friendship, Of Hospitality, On Cosmopolitanism and Forgiveness, etc. Taking an up-close look at Derrida's thought, I argue that his political contemplation of ethics is as effective as his deconstruction of "otherness" in dealing with the nature of ethnic clashes in both the real world and minority literature. In the second half of my paper, I reexamine the issues of race, gender, and class in the three novels of Jamaica Kincaid - Annie John, Lucy, and The Autobiography of My Mother. It is conceivable that from the feminist perspective Kincaid's fiction has been read as a postcolonial Bildungsroman. In my supplementary attempts to this criticism, I reveal that the teenage narrator's precocious awareness is still under the colonial influence in the Annie John section. My analysis of Lucy contends that the reasons why the white woman fails to make friends with the young black woman should be sought in the long history of the U.S. racial politics. In the section of The Autobiography of My Mother, I discuss how difficult it is for a minority woman to liberate from the spell of history insofar as she is engaged in the issue of identity. In closing, I pose a need of consolation that literature may grant us by becoming able to produce a different interpretation on all the bleaker reality.

Ulex europaeus agglutinin I(UEA I), succinylated wheat germ agglutinin(sWGA), Griffonia simplicifolia lectin-I(GSL-I)을 이용하여 생쥐 부정소 조직내 당쇄의 분포를 조사하였다. 당쇄의 측쇄 말단의 $\alpha$-L-fucose 잔기에 특이적으로 결합하는 UEA I은 체부 및 미부 부정소를 제외한 두부 부정소 선단의 세정관 상피를 강하게 표지하였으나 관강은 중간 정도의 강도로 모두 표지되어 $\alpha$-L-fucose 잔기를 갖는 부정소 항원들은 부정소 선단부에서 주로 합성된 후 분비되는 것으로 추정된다. 이와 반대로 당쇄 말단의 $\alpha$-D-galactose 잔기에 특이적으로 결합하는 GSL-I은 두부 부정소를 제외한 체부와 미부 부정소 상피의 투명세포의 세포질과 섬모 및 기저세포를 표지하였다. 다당 사슬 및 복잡한 구조를 갖는 glycan의 당쇄의 N-acetyl-giucosamine 잔기에 특이적으로 결합하는sWCA는 부정소 부위별로 커다란 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 체부와 미부 부정소의 투명세포는 주세포에 비해 더 강하게 표지되어 sWGA 표지는 투명세포 기능분화의 표식자로 추측된다. UEA I 및 sWGA에 의한 관강의 표지 강도는 체부보다는 미부에서 약하게 관찰되어 미부 부정소 관강내에 $\alpha$-L-fucose 및 N-acetyl-glucosamine 잔기의 절단과 관련된 효소활성이 존재하는 것으로 추정된다. 요약하면 $\alpha$-L-fucose, $\alpha$-D-galactose, N-acetyl-glucosamine 잔기를 갖는 당쇄의 분포가 상피세포의 종류 및 부정소의 길이를 따라 차이를 보임을 확인하였다. 이는 정자의 성숙을 조절하는 부정소 각 절편 및 특정 절편 내 소관상피 세포의 기능적 분화를 대변하는 것으로 사료된다.

Compared to modal split, the methods of forecasting traffic volumes diverted in various types of I.C.s have not been sufficiently studied. The purpose of this study is to derive a new diversion function that can represent the directional traffic volume in accordance with various geometrics of I.C.s. In general, knowing various traffic impedances and the amount of traffic production and attraction, one can estimate proper traffic volumes associated with directions by using a well-defined diversion function. This function is usually made by a series of process such as surveying directional traffic volumes on several I.C.s, analyzing with a regression method and verifying those results by statistical approaches. The function has been developed by rigorous statistical testings, mainly a regression analysis. This paper presents an effective method in planning and designing new roads, I.C.s and route choice of subway. Finally, some comparisons and improvements and suggested when one uses different types of relevant models and functions.

본 연구에서는 신경인성 방광으로 요도 카테터를 유치하고 있는 환자의 카테터로부터 카테터 내 요로감염(Catheter-Associate Urinary Tract Infection; CA-UTI)에 관여하는 박테리아인 Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 그리고 Staphylococcus aureus를 순수 분리, 동정하였다. 이 균주들을 대상으로 하여 quorum sensing mechanism을 규명하는 기초 연구로 각 균주의 quorum sensing 신호물질인 autoinducer (AIs)를 합성하는 유전자의 mRNA 발현을 확인하고, 정략분석 하였다. 각 세 균주를 단일과 세 균주의 혼합으로 24시간, 30일 동안 배양하며 일정 시간 간격으로 sample을 얻었다. 이 중 24시간 배양한 sample을 가지고 reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)을 수행하여 각 AIs 합성 유전자가 발현되는 최초 박테리아 밀도를 확인하였다. 단일배양에서 E. coli와 S. aureus의 AIs 합성 유전자(ygaG와 luxS)의 mRNA가 발현되는 최초 박테리아 밀도는 $2.4{\times}20^5$ CFU/ml, $5.4{\times}10^6$ CFU/ml 이었으며 P. aeruginosa의 rhlI와 lasI의 경우 $6.9{\times}10^4$ CFU/ml로 나타났다. 세 균주의 혼합배양에서 ygaG와 luxS의 mRNA가 발현되는 최초 박테리아 밀도는$7.3{\times}10^5$ CFU/ml, $1.6{\times}10^7$ CFU/ml이었으며 rhlI와 lasI의 경우 $2.1{\times}10^5$ CFU/ml로 나타났다. 또한 30일 배양한 sample의 RT-PCR 결과, 배양초기부터 각 AIs 합성 유전자들의 mRNA가 30일 동안 일정한 양만큼 지속적으로 발현됨을 확인하였다. Real-time RT-PCR을 이용한 AIs 합성 유전자의 mRNA 발현을 정량 분석한 결과 각 균주에서 단일배양보다 혼합배양시 AIs 합성 유전자의 발현이 더 많았다. 가장 많은 발현량의 차이를 보인 경우 E. coli ygaG의 mRNA 발현량은 단일배양보다 세 균주의 혼합배양시 최고 약 30배 이상이 증가하였고, P. aeruginosa rhlI의 경우 단일배양보다 혼합배양시 최고 약 40배, P. aeruginosa lasI의 경우 최고 약 250배 그리고 S. aureus luxS의 경우는 단일배양보다 혼합배양시 최고 약 5배 이상 mRNA 발현량이 증가하였다. 또한 세 균주의 4가지 유전자 중 P. aeruginosa의 rhlI와 lasI의 mRNA가 가장 많은 양으로 발현됨을 확인하였다.
