Analytical Discussion on Stochastic Hydrodynamic Modeling of Support Structure of HAWAII WTG Offshore Wind Turbine

  • Floating structure such as tension leg platform, semi-submersible and spar are widely used in field of oil exploration and renewable energy system. All of these structures have the base cylinder support structure which have effective rule in overall dynamic of response. So the accurate and reliable modeling is needed for optimum design and understanding the physical background of these systems. The aim of this article is an analytical discussion on stochastic modeling of floating cylinder based support structure but an applicable one. Due to this a mathematical mass-damper-spring system of a floating cylinder of HAWAII WTG offshore wind as an applicable and innovative system is adopted to model a coupled degrees using random vibration in analytical way. A fully develop spectrum is adopted to solve the stochastic spectrum analytically by a proper approximation. Some acceptable assumption is adopted. The simplified but analytical and innovative hydrodynamic analysis of this study not only will help researcher to concentrate more physically on hydrodynamic analysis of floating structures but also can be useful for any quick, simplified and closed form analysis of a complicated problem in offshore engineering.

  • It is stipulated in Article 22, Paragraph 3 of Tourism Promotion Law that those who do not work for tourism can not use trade name including "Kwan Kwang" or terms similar with it, and even signs with Kwan Kwang or terms similar with it at a business establishment. The stipulation is, however, away from a reality. It only has a sort of apparent meaning even though it is the positive law. However, times are changed and are changing. A rule should reflect the stipulation suitable for contemporary culture. A term, restructuring, exists in the law related to tourism which is connected with tourist industry. In other words, there are many assumed stipulations away from the practical aspect, because of wrong systems. However, what does the restructuring mean in the law related to tourism\ulcorner The thing is to make new system or base appropriate to the present situation, and to study improvement ordinances in Article 12 of Tourism Promotion Law and stipulations for those. In order to do these, the contents of Tourism Promotion Law from Article 1 to 60 and stipulations of law related to tourism law should be studied. In doing so, limited paper could not cover all.cover all.

분류전문가시스팀에 관한 연구 (A study on the expert system for classification of books)

  • This study is an attempt to provide some helpful data for the design and the implementation of the expert system for the book-classification based on the analysis of various cases of the classification-expert system models. Following the introduction, the concepts and some features of an expert system were overviewed in the second chapter, on the basis of which the following concrete cases were introduced and analyzed in the third chapter : (1) ACN System for NC, (2) Expert System for NDC, (3) Expert System for UDC, (4) Herba Medica System, (5) Expert System for IPC, (6) Stratcyclode Project, (7) Expert System for Classification of INIS Database, (8) AutoBC System, and etc. In the conclusion, for the development of the classification-expert system, it was turned out that constructing a new system by using an AI language such as Prolog or LISP is more desirable than employing any one of expert system shells. Together it is necessary for the following requirements to be met : (1) The subject concept of a document elicited should be accurate. (2) Not only a domain knowledge but also the knowledge covering all the subjects should be represented in the knowledge-bases. (3) The knowledge-bases should be organized in such a way that the characteristics of the knowledge about classification should be well defined. (4) rule-base consisting of accurate rules about classification should be made. (5) It should be possible for classification code wanted to be generated immediately.

  • 본 논문에서는 공동주택의 승강기 설비에서 경보 처리 방법을 신경회로망을 적용하여 감시제어의 효율을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 제안된 방법은 역전파 알고리즘의 누가 역전파 알고리즘을 이용하여 다중 경보 발생에서 최소 경보요소를 추론하는데 사용하고 추론된 경보는 사전에 정의된 고장진단 지식베이스를 이용하여 설비 유지보수 정보를 화면에 전개하도록 구성하였다. 제안된 감시기법의 유용성을 확인하기 위하여 3가지의 가상시나리오를 통해서 신경회로망의 적용 가능성을 확인할 수 있었으며 공동주택에 적용한다면 유지보수 환경에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

퍼지제어를 이용한 양액 자동공급 시스템 개발 (Development of an Automatic Nutrient-Solution Supply System Using Fuzzy Control)

  • This study was carried out to develop a nutrient-solution mixing-and-supplying system, which used a low-cost metering device instead of expensive metering pumps and a fuzzy logic controller. A low cost and precise overflow-type metering device was developed and evaluated by testing the flow discharge for the automatic nutrient-solution mixing-and-supplying system for snail-scale hydroponic sewers. The fuzzy logic controllers, which could predict and meet the desired values of EC and supply rate of nutrient solution were developed and verified by simulation and experiment. this fuzzy logic controller, whose algorithm consists of four crisp inputs, two crisp outputs and nine rules, was developed to predict the desired value of EC and supply rate of nutrient solution and two crisp inputs, one crisp output and nine rules used to control EC to the desired values. The nutrient-solution mixing-and-supplying system showed satisfactory EC control performance with the maximum overshooting of 0.035 mS/cm and the maximum settling time of 15 minutes in case of increasing 0.7 mS/cm. also, the accuracy of the overflow-type metering device in terms of the full-scale error was 2.29% when using solenoid valve only and 0.2% when using solenoid valve and flow control valve together.

  • 이 연구에서는 국제적으로 관심이 집중되고 있는 FSA를 선박의 화재 안전 분야에 도입하기 위한 준비과정으로 화재안전도의 가장 중요한 지표인 사망확률의 근거가 되는 피난계산을 실습선의 모의훈련에 의해 계산하여 피난시간의 계산 및 성능기준 화재의 안전설계를 검토하였다. 그 결과 승선인원과 대피 통로의 폭과는 일정한 상관관계가 있으며 최적의 폭을 산정할 수 있음을 보였다. 그러나 선박 내부의 좁은 통로와 선박의 종류에 따른 특수한 구조를 고려할 때 일괄적인 적용은 어렵다. 또한 대피시간을 모의실험에 의해 추정하고 유출계수를 구한 결과 공용실의 유출계수와 비교하여 기관실의 인명위험성이 약 4배이상 높게 나타났다.

  • As public awareness of the various warning signs of malignancy increases, so does the concern evoked by the self identified finding of mass in the head and neck area. Not all the palpable masses are always significantly abnormal, but any nontender mass especially to the adult is significant enough to warrent further full investigation and follow up, the object of which should be to determine the possibility of malignancy and urgency of treatment. Approach to the diagnosis of the neck mass is so important in that it affects decision regarding further evaluation would lead to the determination of the most efficacious mode of therapy, eventually to the good prognosis. So, it should be emphasized that approach to the diagnosis of neck mass should be planned, systematic and thorough, this begins with the taking careful history following performance of complete examination of the head and neck especially to the nasopharynx, tongue base, pyriform sinus, palatine tonsil and larynx. Then a number of laboratory and radiologic studies are available, following triple endoscopy under general anesthesia and blind biopsy if needed. The most important rule to keep is that any biopsy procedures should be delayed to the last modality of effort to the diagnosis and if it should be done, under the plan of radical neck dissection.

  • Artificial intelligence control that use Fuzzy, Neural network, genetic algorithm etc. in the speed control of induction motor recently is studied much. Also, sensors such as Encoder and Resolver are used to receive the speed of induction motor and information of position. However, this control method or sensor use receives much effects in surroundings environment change and react sensitively to parameter change of electric motor and control Performance drops. Presume the speed and position of induction motor by ANN in this treatise, and because using FMRLC that is consisted of two Fuzzy Logic, can correct Fuzzy Rule Base through teaming and save good response special quality in change of condition such as change of parameter.

  • 멀티미디어는 현재 다양한 분야에서 응용되고 있다. 특히, 멀티미디어 교육 시스템을 위한 공동 작업 환경에 대한 관심도 증가하고 있다. 두레는 분산 멀티미디어 환경과 멀티미디어 원격 교육 시스템에서 실행되는 응용들의 개발을 지원하기 위한 프레임워크이다. EDA는 분산 멀티미디어에서 하나의 소프트웨어 오류를 자동적으로 감지할 수 있는 시스템이다. 이 시스템은 효율적인 두레 환경의 구성과 실험을 위하여 구성되고 구현되었다. 세션과 관련된 프로세스를 정기적으로 폴링하여 오류를 감지한다. 기존 방식은 모든 프로세스들을 정기적으로 폴링하여 오류를 감지한다. 본 논문은 규칙-기반 SES와 DEVS 모델링과 시뮬레이션 기법을 사용하면서 분산 멀티미디어상에서의 오류 감지 시스템의 성능 분석을 설명한다. DEVS에서 하나의 시스템은 시간, 입력, 상태, 출력 및 함수들을 가지고 있다.

  • Die Casting is one of the forming methods to manufacture large number of products with short period time and clean surface by high forming pressure and temperature of cast alloy. Die design is composed of selection of cast alloy, design of die casting product, runner and gate design etc. In reality, however, die design of die casting has been performed by trial and error method, which cause economic and time loss. This paper describes a research work of developing computer-aided design of die casting product and die design. Approach to the CAD system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD with personal computer. In this study, die design system for gate of die casting process has been developed to present algorithm for automation of die design, especially runner-gate system. As forming process and die design system using 3-D geometry handling are integrated with technology of process planning, die design is possible to set. In addition, specific rules and equations for the runner-gate system have been presented to avoid too many trails and errors with expensive equipment. It is possible for engineers to make automatic and efficient die design of die casting and it will result in reduction of expense and time to be required. An example is applied to cap-shaped casting using proposed algorithm.
