MR 댐퍼를 적용한 6WD 군용차량의 성능평가 (Performance Evaluation of 6WD Military Vehicle Featuring MR Damper)

  • This paper proposes a new type of MR (magentorheological) fluid based suspension system and applies it to military vehicle for vibration control. The suspension system consists of gas spring and MR damper. The nonlinear behavior of spring characteristics is evaluated with respect to the wheel travel and damping force model due to viscosity and yield stress of MR fluid is derived. Subsequently, a military vehicle of 6WD is adopted for the integration of the MR suspension system and its nonlinear dynamic model is establishes by considering vertical, pitch and roll motion. Then, a sky-hook controller associated with semi-active actuating condition is designed to reduce the vibration. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed MR suspension system, computer simulation is undertaken showing vibration control performance such as roll angle and pitch angle evaluated under bump and random road profiles.

  • 본 연구에서는 화력발전소에서 온배수의 형태로 배출되는 폐열을 히트펌프의 열원으로 이용하여 온실의 난방에 활용할 수 있는 히트펌프 시스템을 설계 제작하였으며, 난방 성능을 분석하여 PE 파이프 열교환기의 설계기준을 제시하고자 하였다. PE 파이프 열교환기의 내경은 20mm, 두께는 2mm였으며, Roll의 직경은 1,000mm로 하였다. 연구결과 PE파이프 열교환기의 적정 길이는 1.0RT당 75m로 설계하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 판단되었으며, 이때 히트펌프시스템의 난방성능계수(COPh)는 3.8로 나타났다.

A Tilt and Heading Estimation System for ROVs using Kalman Filters

  • Tilt and heading angles information of a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) are very important in underwater navigation. This paper presents a low.cost tilt and heading estimation system. Three single.axis rate gyros, a tri-axis accelerometer, and a tri-axis magnetometer are used. Output signals coming from these sensors are fused by two Kalman filters. The first Kalman filter is used to estimate roll and pitch angles and the other is for heading angle estimation. By using this method, we have obtained tilt (roll and pitch angles) and heading information which are reliable over long period of time. Results from experiments have shown the performance of the presented system.

  • In this paper, a coarse alignment algorithm for strapdown inertial navigation system is proposed and evaluated analytically. The algorithm computes roll and pitch angles of the vehicle using accelerometer outputs, and then determines yaw angle with gyro outputs. It is referred, as two-step coarse alignment in this work. With the geometric relation between sensor outputs and roll, pitch and yaw angles, the algorithm error is analytically derived and compared with the previous coarse alignment algorithm introduced by Britting. The results show that the proposed two-step coarse alignment algorithm has better performance for pitch angle computation.

  • 현대의 고성능 전투기는 공대공 및 공대지 전투 임무를 수행하기 위해 여러 가지 무장 형상을 하고 있고, 무장투하 시 비대칭 형상(Asymmetric Configuration)으로 임무를 수행하는 경우가 많다. 현재, 개발이 진행 중인 T-50 훈련기의 비대칭 무장형상 비행시험에서 세로축 기동 시 가로축 방향으로 조종사가 원하지 않는 운동이 발생하는데, 이는 항공기 안정성 및 조종성에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 현상을 개선하기 위하여 기존의 가로축 제어법칙인 미끄럼각-미끄럼각속도 귀환 구조를 F-16과 같이 단순 롤각속도 귀환구조로 적용하였다. 연구결과, 단순 롤각속도 귀환구조로 가로축 제어법칙을 변경하였을 때 비대칭 무장형상에서 세로축 기동 시 가로축 운동의 발생이 줄어들었으며, 시스템의 안정도 여유는 설계기준에 만족한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 파랑중을 운항하는 선박은 항상 파도의 영향을 받아 운동을 하게 된다. 특히 컨테이너선과 같이 갑판위에 화물을 많이 운송하는 선박의 경우에는 여러 방향이 운동형태 중에서 횡동요가 화물의 안전에 가장 큰 영향을 미친다. 이러한 선박에서는 컨테이너의 이동 및 전도를 방지하기 위하여 Securing과 Lashing을 하게 되는데, 적절한 시스템의 선정을 위하여 각각에 작용하는 하중들의 정확한 평가가 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 갑판적 컨테이너들의 연결부에 작용하는 Securing 하중과 Lashing 와이어에 작용하는 힘에 대한 계산식을 유도하고, 몇가지 Lashing 패턴에 대하여 계산을 수행하였다.

The Influence of Vestibular Stimulation Training on Static Balance during Standing in Healthy Young Adults

  • Purpose: We investigated a better method to enhance the vestibular system including balancing by comparing the vestibular stimulation exercise (VSE) and galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS). Methods: The study was performed with 40 subjects randomized into four groups, including a control group, a VSE group, a GVS group, and a VSE with GVS group. The subjects of VSE performed a forward and backward roll, a right side and left side roll, and an equilibrium board in vestibular stimulation training. GVS was applied for 10 minutes and the cathode and anode side were then changed and GVS was then applied for the remaining 10 minutes. GVS was applied for 20 minutes to the subjects of this group after completion of the VSE program. Results: In the control group, all conditions were significantly decreased (p<0.05) compared to the VSE with GVS group. Also, the center of pressure (CoP) surface was more significantly decreased (p<0.01) and the CoP speed was significantly decreased in the one legged stance (p<0.05) in the control group compared to the GVS group. Conclusion: These findings suggested that GVS training increases balance ability in a narrow width. VSE with GVS training is therefore recommend as the superior method. Using GVS or VSE with GVS training is considered to clinically improve balance ability by stimulating the vestibular system.

  • 함정은 해상 운용 시 파도 및 바람의 영향으로 인하여 Pitch Roll 방향으로 운동이 불가피하다. 따라서 함정은 전 후 좌우로 연속적으로 회전 운동을 한다. 그리고 함정은 내부 장비들의 가진에 의한 다양한 주파수의 진동과 강한 파도, 폭발에 의한 충격 등의 외란 신호에 항상 노출되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 실제 시스템과 유사한 전산해석 모델을 작성한 후 외란 신호를 포함한 함정의 연속적인 거동에 대하여 2축 안정화 장치 의 동적 거동 및 위치 제어 전산해석을 수행한다.

소형선박의 횡요방지 제어장치 연구 (A Study on the Anti-Rolling Control System of Small Ship)

  • The roll damping characteristics of the three models of a small fishing(3 ton class fishing vessel), such as the bare hull, hull with bilge keels, and hull with bilge keels and a central wing are investigated by the free roll and head waves tests in calm water in a towing tank with the various forward speeds, initial angles and OG's. The experimental results are compared with the numerical results of mathematical modelings by the energy method for these three models and the energy dissipation patterns are also compared. And the wave length variations are also included. The roll damping moment of the models is increased for zero speed cases, but as the speed increases, the effect of the waves on the roll damping of the models with the additional devices is negligible due to the much increased damping caused by the lift increase.
