The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of service guarantees of tourist hotels on employees' perception of role clarity and customer orientation. Specifically, this study analyzed how the employees' perception of role clarity as a parameter, with the employees' reliability, guarantee-related communication, guarantee limitation, and organizational support as independent variables, affected the dependent variable, customer orientation. As a result of empirical analysis of employees in the first grade hotel in Seoul, it was analyzed that the higher the reliability of employees in service guarantee, the higher the communication and organizational support in the organization related to guarantee work, the higher the role clarity and perception level of employees. The higher the reliability, guarantee limitation and organizational support level of guarantee, the higher the customer orientation, but the guarantee-related communication did not show significant influence. The perception degree of role clarity of employees has a significant effect on customer orientation. According to those results of this analysis, this study examined the influence of each configuration of service guarantee of tourist hotel employees on customer orientation, and presented various academic and practical implications.

This study is a descriptive research study to understand the degree of perception of gender role attitudes and domestic violence targeting marriage migrant women. The subjects of this study were 371 married migrant women residing in area J from October 4 to December 20, 2019. Data analysis was statistically processed using SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. As a result of this study, the subject's gender role attitude was found to be an average of 2.05 points out of 4 points. The subject's perception of domestic violence was an average of 2.02 out of 4 points. There were statistically significant differences in gender role attitude according to the general characteristics of the subjects in terms of domestic residence period, education level, nationality, average monthly income, and the use of international marriage brokers. There were statistically significant differences in perception of domestic violence according to the general characteristics of the subjects in terms of age, education level, nationality, and whether they were married. Based on these findings, it is hoped that the foundation for preventing and solving domestic violence in multicultural families can be laid through awareness education and publicity on domestic violence.
This study focuses on the differences in family values, which is a cause of family dissolution and conflicts of marriage immigrant women. This study was conducted on 441 women in Vietnam. It was done to explore their family values. Specifically, the following were examined: the overall family values and martial status of Vietnamese women; differences in their family values by region (northern, central, southern). The survey questionnaire consists of the following content: 'family perception'; 'gender-role values'; 'elderly parent support value'. The characteristics of family values of Vietnamese women are as follows. First, the scope of family perceived by them was relatively narrow. In particular, most of them didn't perceive the parents of a spouse as a familymember. Second, in terms of gender-roles, they perceived men and women as equal and didn't have strong perception of traditional gender roles. Third, they felt strongly about supporting elderly parents. The perception of supporting elderly parents is based on equal gender roles, instead of the paternalistic approach. They preferred financial support to living with parents. There were also differences in family values by region. Also, their values seemed to be the opposite of the ones well-known by region. In addition, their values were changing amid economic growth and modernization. Residents in Can Tho in the south - known to have open-minded Southeast Asian values - had the most patrilineal, traditional values with strong perception towards supporting elderly parents. Residents in Hanoi in the north - known to have heavy influence of Confucian culture - had non-traditional values with positive attitude towards liberal sex culture, divorce, and remarriage. Residents in Da Nang, a central region, had a mixture of northern and southern characteristics in terms of family values.
The purpose of the study was to explore what kind of intervention might help foster parents decide to continue engaging in foster care. As foster care services are still in the early stages of development, lacking systematic support systems as well as full understanding of the roles of foster parents and foster care agencies, it is important to recruit, select, and train as many foster parents as possible. Utilizing the Foster Parent Role Perception scale developed by Le Prohn, the author first conceptualized foster parent roles or foster care agency roles; then explored what kind of effects the resource level or the role perception of the foster parents have on the decisions to continue doing foster care. The results showed that the foster parents perceived 'supporting the internal system of the foster child' and 'supporting the external system of the foster child' as the roles of foster parents, whereas 'fortifying the foster care system' and 'maintaining liaison with birth parents' were the roles of foster care agencies. It was also found that foster parents' strong role perception, higher levels of satisfaction towards education on the part of foster parents, and the number of children from the previous marriage had statistically significant positive effects on the decisions to continue foster care. The author argues that clear definitions of roles are needed for both foster parents and foster care agencies. Finally, the role of foster care agencies needs to be strengthened and supported.
Purpose. The purpose of the study was to assess the level of nurses' genetic knowledge and the perception of nurses' role in genetics. The ultimate goal of this paper is to educate practicing nurses so that they can counsel individuals and families with genetic problems, on the basis of better understanding of genetic diseases. Methods. A total of 969 clinical nurses in 11 general hospitals completed a self-administered questionnaire including basic genetic knowledge and perception of their role. The instruments were made by the author with the help of some experts on genetics. T-test, ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation were used to analyze the data. Results. The results of this study indicated that nurses revealed a vast knowledge deficit in genetics and the need for genetic content in nursing curriculum. The results also showed that nurses' sources of information about genetics largely came from the mass media. The nurses also expressed great interest in educating and counseling patients. Overall, the survey found a positive correlation between the nurses' level of knowledge and their degree of interest in genetics. Conclusion. In conclusion, education and training of clinical nurses in genetics is critical in integrating genetics with nursing science. Therefore, the development of educational programs for nursing knowledge and counseling as well as basic curriculums in genetic nursing at universities are essential in the near future.
Acceptable risk problem are decision problems they requires a choice among different estimations of technological risks. The alternative option includes a threat to life among its consequences. However, the definition used to ignore the public's perceived risk which should be identified as acceptable risk. The study examine the role of perception of risk as acceptable risk between different situations of estimated consequence and probability of risk. The cost benefit principle for the reduction of risk applied to find the possible solutions with in decision making process.

The purpose of this study was to identify korean agricultural extension workers' Perception of role ambiguity according to restructuring of Agricultural Administrative Systems. The target population of this study was selected from 21 centers out of 156 centers. The subjects for study were 728 agricultural extension officers by the cluster sampling drawn from the sampled 21 agricultural extension centers in four clusters. A survey questionnaire was utilized to measure variables of this study. It consisted of role ambiguity scale and demographic items. In this study, role ambiguity scale was translated from the existing scale. Through a pilot test and final survey, reliability and validity of these scales were examined. The data were collected by mail. A total 420 questionnaires out of 728 from 21 agricultural extension centers were returned. After data cleaning, 410 responses were used for analysis. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were applied for data analysis. Major findings of the study were as follows. There were significant differences of the degree of role ambiguity among the local extension workers divided by four clusters. Especially, the degree of role ambiguity of restructured local administrative system were more higher than other clusters, comparatively. Thus, the factors causing the role ambiguity to agricultural extension officers need to be measured it in-depth.
Purpose: The purpose was to identify the effects of a Tai Chi exercise program on physical fitness, fall related perception and health status among institutionalized elderly. Methods: A quasi-experimental research was carried out with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. There were 23 subjects in the experimental group and 24 in the control group. The data was gathered by structured questionnaires about fall related perception, and health status. Physical fitness was measured by an exercise therapist with a blind principle. Results: At the completion of the 12 weeks Tai Chi exercise program, flexibility (F=4.50, p=.00), and ability to balance (F=3.27, p=.00) had increased significantly. Fall related perception showed significant improvement in the fear of falling (F=-3.52, p=.00). Physical functioning (F=3.38, p=.00), role limitation-physical (F=2.67, p=.01), role limitation-emotional (F=2.47, p=.02). and general health (F=3.88, p=.00) in health status showed significant differences between the two groups. Conclusion: The study findings revealed Tai Chi exercise as a useful nursing intervention for elderly that enhances flexibility and balance, decreases fall related perception and also increases the health status. Further research is warranted to compare the potential effects of Tai Chi exercise and its health benefits from other types of exercise or martial arts.
As the importance of rural landscapes has recently emerged due to an increase in number of urban to rural migrants into suburban area in Korea, this study empirically grasps the differences in subjective landscapes perceptions between native and non-native residents. and tried to explore new landscape management possibilities through the role of each residents group. To this end, based on the data collected through the 'photo-elicitation with walking', the residents' landscape perception objects, perception factors, and perceived feelings are derived, and then the differences and characteristics of landscapes perception between native and non-native residents group were analyzed. As a result, native residents perceived everyday landscapes relatively meaningfully and provided abundant information in all aspects, while non-native residents mainly recognized characteristic landscapes and responded more sensitively to visual and environmental perception factors than the natives. Non-native residents also showed strong willingness to improve the degraded landscapes. These results are expected to provide a basis for exploring the role of residents in rural landscape planning and management in the future.
The Study was carried out for the purpose of investigating the degree of perception in nursing activities. This study reports perceptions of nurses on the choices they make among competing activities, contrasts this perception with their opinion of what tasks they would like to spend time on. A sample of 231 clinical nurses was selected to participate in this study at two genernal hospitals in Seoul. The data was collected from July 10th to 25th, 1990. Subjects were instructed to rate one of five points likert type scale on the 43 items of nursing activities. Analysis of data was done by means of the SPSS-X Program using frequency, t-test and ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The characteristics of the subjects were as follows: The age group of 25-29 yeares was 45.9%. For religion, Christians had the highest score, 68.4 % and singles in subjects were 81.4%. For academic background, 64.5% were graduated from nursing junior colleges. In the subjects, staff nurses were 86.6%. 22.5% of them had worked for less than 1 year and 20.8% had 37 months to 5 years experience at the time of the survey. 62.8% were satisfied with the job. 2. The perception level of nursing activities: 1) The mean score for perception of professional nursing functions was 4.157 point, with a maximum score set. at 5 points. The mean score for perception of priorities was 3.781. Perception of spending time was 3.932. 2) In perception of professional nursing functions, more important items were Aseptic technique (4.866), Shift and exchange of information concerning patients(4.654), Observing patients (4.799). Less important items were Transporting patients(3.411), Changing linens(3.442), Giving a bed shampoo (3.506). In priorities, more important ones. were Aseptic technique(4, 706), Shift and exchange of information concerning patients (4.524.), Observing patients(4.390), Taking vital signs (4.355). And less important ones were Changing linens (3.100), Giving bed baths(3.113), Giving back rubs(3.121). In spending time, more important ones were Aseptic technique(1.706), Observing patients (4.532), Shift and exchange of information concerning patients(4.532). And less important ones were Changing lines(3.368), Transporting patients(3.394), Giving bed baths(3.450). 3) In the role perception level, the mean distribution of perception was 3.511- 4.335; the role was perceived to be in order of frequency as a facilitator, coordinator, change agent and advocator role. The most important scale of factors by nursing activities was indirect nursing activities.
