희석 전분 현탁액의 노화 (Retrogradation of Dilute Starch Dispersion)

  • 1% 희석 쌀전분 용액의 노화 특성을 호화후 $5^{\circ}C$에서 저장하면서 고찰하였다. 저장기간이 증가함에 따라 노화도도 증가하였는데 그 증가하는 정도는 노화 초기에 가장 현저한 반면 노화가 진행됨에 따라 감소하였다. 추정 전분의 노화특성을 Avrami식으로 해석하여 노화기작을 살펴본 결과 Avrami지수, 속도상수, 시간상수는 각각 0.96, 0.21 $days^{-1}$, 4.77 days 였다. 이때 Avrami지수가 단위치(n=1)에 접근하므로 희석 쌀전분 용액은 즉각적인 핵형성에 이은 간상구조의 생성에 의하여 노화가 진행됨을 알 수 있었다. 주사 전자 현미경에 의하여 노화과정을 관찰한결과 노화기간이 경과함에 따라 생전분과는 다른 형태의 3차원 결정구조가 형성됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • 아끼바레 및 밀양 23호 쌀을 취반한 후 실온$(21^{\circ}C)$ 및 고온 $(72^{\circ}C)$에 보관하면서, 밥알의 경도변화로부터 노화속도를 측정한 결과, 품종간의 노화속도에는 차이가 없었다. 그러나 고온 저장시가 실온 저장시보다 노화속도가 약 1.5배 늦었다.

  • Poly(D,L-lactic acid) (PLA) microspheres containing alprazolam(APZ) were prepared by a solvent-emulsion evaporation method and their release patterns were investigated in vitro. Various batches of microspheres with different size and drug content were obtained by changing the ratio of APZ to PLA, PLA concentration in the dispersed phase and stirring rate. Rod-like APZ crystals on microsphere surface, which were released rapidly and could act as a loading dose, were observed with increasing drug content. The release rate was increased with increase in drug contents and decrease in the molecular weight of PLA. The release rate of APZ for long-acting injectable delivery system in vitro, which would aid in predicting in vitro release profile, could be controlled by properly optimizing various factors affecting characteristics of microspheres.

가수분해 조건에 따른 수산화인회석의 형상변화 (Morphology Changes of Hydroxyapatite in Different Hydrolysis Conditions)

  • 수산화인회석은 생체적합성이 뛰어나기 때문에 생체재료로 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 온도, 농도, pH를 조절하여 인산수소칼슘 중간체의 가수분해반응을 통해 c면이 배향된 수산화인회석을 합성하였다. 염기조건에서 전구체의 농도가 낮을 경우 막대 형태의 수산화인회석 결정이 모여 불규칙한 형태의 입자를 만들었고 농도가 높을 경우 수산화인회석결정의 c면이 노출된 판 형태의 입자를 만들었으며 이에 따라 입자의 제타전위 차가 3 mV가 되었다. 생성물의 물리화학적 특성은 XRD, SEM, FT-IR, 제타전위측정기를 통해 평가하였다.

  • 상용화제와 교환반응 촉진제 도입에 따른 폴리(에틸렌 테레프탈레이트) (PET)/폴리(메타-자이렌 아디프아미드) (MXD-6) 블렌드의 형태구조 변화와 일축 연신한 블렌드 시료의 변형 형태구조를 조사하였다. 연신시료는 피브릴 구조의 분산상을 보여주었으며, 피브릴 구조는 연신비 증가에 따라서 점차 미세하게 변형되었다. 교환반응 촉진제나 상용화제의 첨가는 계면 접착력 향상에 기여하기보다는 분산상과 연속상 간에 결함을 야기함으로써 피브릴 구조의 균일성을 감소시켰다. H$_{v}$ 모드의 광산란을 이용하여 블렌드 조성과 연신비에 따른 고차구조 변화를 알아보았다. H$_{v}$ 산란패턴으로부터 결정들이 스택을 이루며, 스택은 연신 방향에 대하여 특정한 각도로 배향됨을 알 수 있었다. 분산상과 연속상 내의 결정은 연신비 증가에 따라서 점진적으로 배향되어, 연신비가 6.0인 경우에는 매우 높은 배향 수준을 보여주었다.

열수처리에 의해 석출된 HA 결정이 Ti-6Al-7Nb 합금의 생체활성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of HA Crystals Precipitated by Hydrothermal-Treatment on the Bioactivity of Ti-6Al-7Nb Alloy)

  • This study was to investigate the surface properties of electrochemically oxidized Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy by anodic spark discharge technique. Anodizing was performed at current density 30 $mA/cm^2$ up to 300 V in electrolyte solutions containing $DL-{\alpha}$-glycerophosphate disodium salt hydrate($DL-{\alpha}$-GP) and calcium acetate (CA). Hydrothermal treatment was done at $300^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs to produce a thin outermost layer of hydroxyapatite (HA). The bioactivity was evaluated from HA formation on the surfaces in a Hanks' solution with pH 7.4 at $36.5^{\circ}C$ for 30 days. The size of micropores and the thickness of oxide film increased and complicated multilayer by increasing the spark forming voltage. Needle-like HA crystals were observed on anodic oxide film after the hydrothermal treatment at $300^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs. When increasing $DL-{\alpha}$-GP in electrolyte composition, the precipitated HA crystals showed the shape of thick and shorter rod. However, when increasing CA, the more fine needle shape HA crystals were appeared. The bioactivity in Hanks' solution was accelerated when the oxide films composed with strong anatase peak with presence of rutile peak. The increase of amount of Ca and P was observed in groups having bioactivity in Hanks' solution. The Ca/P ratio of the precipitated HA layer was equivalent to that of HA crystal and it was closer to 1.67 as increasing the immersion time in Hanks' solution.

메밀 전분의 이화학적 성질에 관한 연구 (Physicochemical Properties of Buckwheat Starch)

  • 메밀 전분의 이화학적 성질을 살펴본바, 입자의 크기는 4.3-11.4 미크론(평균 7.8미크론)이었다. 전분의 물결합능력은 103.7%, 아밀로스 함량은 25%이었다. 복굴절성 소실의 측정법에 의한 호화개시 및 호화 종료 온도는 각각 $61^{\circ}$$65^{\circ}C$이었고 아밀로그라프에 의한 초기 호화온도는$64.5^{\circ}C$이었다. 전분의 노화속도는 $21^{\circ}C$에서 밀 전분보다 다소 빨랐다.

Hydroxyapatite Coating on Al2O3 by Hydrothermal Process

  • Hydrothermal deposition of hydroxyapatite coatings on $Al_2$O$_3$ substrates was studied using aqueous solutions of Ca(NO$_3$)$_2$ㆍ4$H_2O$ and (NH$_4$)$_2$HPO$_4$ containing EDTA disodium salt as a chelating agent for $Ca^{2+}$. For the precipitation of the coatings the EDTA-Ca$^{2+}$ chelates were dissociated thermally at 20$0^{\circ}C$ or decomposed by oxidation with $H_2O$$_2$ at 9$0^{\circ}C$. Scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction were used to investigate the deposition behavior and the phase of the coatings. Hydroxyapatite coatings were not deposited with the thermal dissociation method, whereas uniform deposition of the coatings (about 0.7 $\mu\textrm{m}$ thickness) was obtained with the oxidative decomposition method. The coatings consisted of fine rod-like hydroxyapatite crystals (hexagonal structure) with 60-80 nm diameters, having some preferred orientation with their length (i.e., the c axis) perpendicular to the substrate.ate.

다양한 동결제를 이용하여 동결건조 공정으로 제조한 Cu 다공체의 기공구조 특성 (Freeze Drying Process and Pore Structure Characteristics of Porous Cu with Various Sublimable Vehicles)

  • The effect of sublimable vehicles on the pore structure of Cu fabricated by freeze drying is investigated. The 5 vol% CuO-dispersed slurries with camphene and various camphor-naphthalene compositions are frozen in a Teflon mold at -25℃, followed by sublimation at room temperature. After hydrogen reduction at 300℃ and sintering at 600 ℃, the green bodies of CuO are completely converted to Cu with various pore structures. The sintered samples prepared using CuO/camphene slurries show large pores that are aligned parallel to the sublimable vehicle growth direction. In addition, a dense microstructure is observed in the bottom section of the specimen where the solidification heat was released, owing to the difference in the solidification behavior of the camphene crystals. The porous Cu shows different pore structures, such as dendritic, rod-like, and plate shaped, depending on the composition of the camphornaphthalene system. The change in pore structure is explained by the crystal growth behavior of primary camphor and eutectic and primary naphthalene.
