1998년 5월 경북 포항시 대보의 말잘피 (Phyllospadix japonica) 군락 사이에서 비늘갯지렁이과의 한국 미기록종인 뽀족고운비늘 갯지렁이 Iphione muricata (Savigny, 1818)가 채집되어 이를 기재하고, 우리나라에서는 처음 보고되는 것이므로 이를 추가하여 비늘갯지렁이과의 아과 검색표도 재작성하였다. 본 종이 새롭게 보고되므로 한국산 비늘갯지렁이과는 모두 3아과 14속 24종이 된다.

The objective of the paper is to compute the half-month rainfall-runoff erosivity factor for revised universal soil loss equation (RUSLE). RUSLE is being used to develop soil conservation programs and identify optimum management practices. Rainfall-runoff erosivity factor (R) is a key input parameter to RUSLE. Rainfall-runoff erosivity factor has been calculated for twenty six stations from the nationwide rainfall data from 1973 to 2002 in south Korea. The average annual Rainfall-runoff erosivity factor at the analyzed stations Is between 3,130 and 10,476 (MJ/ha)ㆍ(mm/h). According to the computation of the half-month Rainfall-runoff erosivity factor for locations, 66-85% of the average annual R value has occurred during the summer months, June-August. The half-month R values from this study can be used for RUSLE.

Taxonomic confusion has been presented within freshwater crayfishes of the genus Cambaroides since Starobogatov published morphological definition and revision of the group in 1995. He suggested that Cambaroides should be revised: the C. dauricus, contained three species C. dauricus, C. wladiwostokiensis, and C. koshewnikowi; the C. schrenckii with two. species C. schrenckii and C. sachalinensis. Also Straovogatov did not take into account the previous data. of crayfish distributions. In order to. clear up the confusion, the taxonomy of crayfish sampled from Mongolia, Russia, China, and North Korea was reassessed. Starovogatov's key could not lead to the correct identification. Also, detailed observations of apical robe of the male first pleopod did not support the taxonomy on the genus Cambaroides proposed by Starobogatov in 1995. However, some local variations of morphology exist in rostrum, pleuron, and telson of Asian crayfish. Future studies should be concentrated on whether there are geographical clines of morphology or if taxonomic subdivision is necessary.

A new laophontid copepod species, Apolethon articulatus n. sp., is described from the estuaries and salt marshes in South Korea. Apolethon articulatus is similar to the three congeneric species currently known in sharing the character combination of the elongate first endopodal segment of leg 1 with inner seta and the expansion of second endopodal segments of legs 2-4 with decrease in the number of setae on them. However, A. articulatus differs from them by the separate exopod of female leg 5 and the armature of mandibular palp with 6 setae. Description and taxonomic accounts of the new species are presented herein with detailed illustrations and SEM micrographs. As the true identity of the rarely known genus has not been clarified yet, a revised generic diagnosis is provided with a key to the species hitherto known in the genus.

한국산 길쭉먼지벌레속을 정리하던중 Pterostichus 아속에서 Pterostichus peninsularis sp. nov. 의 1신종을 발견하였으므로 이에 기재 보고한다. 따라서 한국산은 모두 2종이된다. 그리고 각 종에 대한 검색표 및 분포 기록등을 작성하였다.

한국산 은빛잎말이나방족은 6속 9종으로 정리되며 이중 신속 Immariana를 기재함과 동시에 3신종 ; 뾰족날개잎말이(Immariana acutiella sp. nov.), 검정무늬잎말이(Kawabeia fuscofasciata sp. nov.), 어리무늬잎말이(Kawabeia paraignavana sp. nov.)를 기재발표한다. 또한 겨우살이잎말이, Kawabeia ignavana Christoph와 꼬마줄무늬잎말이, Oporopsamma stenoptera(Filipjev)등 2종이 우리나라 미기록종으로 보고된다.

바다가시곰벌레속 (Halechiniscus)에 속하는 해양완보류 2종 (H. Jejuensis, H. remanei)을 보고한다. 신종인 제주가시곰벌레 (H. Jejuensis)는 몸통 측돌기의 위치와 모양, 제4다리 기부에 난 유두형의 감각톤기의 모양, 그리고 머리의 전단부가 두 갈래로 갈라져 있지 않은 점에서 본 속의 다른 종들과 뚜렷이 구별된다. 지금까지 바다가시곰벌레속에 기록된 9종에 대한 종검색표를 새롭게 작성하였다.

The ISO 9000 family of international quality management standards were revised on 15 December 2000. The ISO 9001:2000 standard is used for certification/registration and contractual purposes by organizations seeking recognition of their quality management system(QMS). We summarize key contents changed in ISO 9000:2000 family standards. To comply with ISO 9001:2000, we analyze the current QMS for steel outfit industry, using audit results from ISO 9001:1994 for seven steel outfit firms during last three years. We investigate statistical relationships between ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:1994 requirements from a three dimensional contingency table with audit results. We observe that the importance of requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 sections makes a difference between companies.

한국산 어리개미거미속의 2종, 어리개미거미 (Synagelides agoriformis)와 월정어리개미거미 (S. zhilcovae)을 정확한 그림과 검색표와 더불어 재기재하였으며 이중 월정어리개미거미는 한국미기록종이다. 이들은 생식구, 생식관 그리고 수정낭의 위치와 모양에 의해 쉽게 동정할 수 있다.

The planthopper subfamily Achilinae (Metcalf, 1938) from Korea is taxonomically revised. Six genera and seven species are recorded among Korean fauna. Among them, one genus, Phenelia Kirkaldy, and two species, Phenelia striatella (Matsumura, 1914) and Deferunda qiana Chen and He (2010) are new to Korea. The male genital structures of all these species are described and illustrated, plus an identification key to the tribe, genus, and species is provided.
