In this paper, we propose a document clustering and retrieval tool which allows users to manage their emotion based document access. This system name is ECRAS(Emotion based Clustering and Retrieval Agent System). Our system extract S emotion feature which like HAPPY, SAD, ANGRY, FEAR, DISGUST from various document. And, our system have retrieve documents for user query base on emotion feature.

Satellite and aerial images are very useful means to monitor ecological and environmental situation. Nowadays more and more officials at Ministry of Environment in Korea need to access and use these image data through networks like internet or intranet. However it is very hard to manage and service these image data through internet or intranet, because of its size problem. In this paper very large image data service system for Ministry of Environment is constructed on web environment using image compression and web based image processing technology. Through this system, not only can officials in Ministry of Environment access and use all the image data but also can achieve several image processing effects on web environment. Moreover officials can retrieve attribute information from vector GIS data that are also integrated with the system.

GPS/Meteorology technique for PWV monitoring is currently actively being researched an advanced nation. We deal with the monitoring of GPS derived PWV during the passage of Typhoon MAEMI. Typhoon MAEMI which caused a series damage was passed over in Korea peninsula from September 12 to September 13, 2003. We obtained GPS-PWV at 17th GPS permanent stations. We retrieve GPS data hourly and use Gipsy-Oasis II software. The GPS-PWV time series results demonstrate that PWV is, in general, high before and during the occurrence of the typhoon, and low after the typhoon.

The analog typed interface of main control room in nuclear power plant(NPP) is gradually being replaced to the one suitable for the digital environment. SKN 3,4 is currently developed in such a way to employ digitalized displays and controls such as computerized procedure system(CPS), large display panel(LDP), and Soft control. The main control room (MCR) of the SKN3, 4 was designed based on the human factors guidelines, which somehow lack of the confidence for the rapidly the developed guidelines needs to extend to the one to apply for the total digital environment including task environment, hardware and workstation. In order to achieve the research objectives, tremendous guidelines and technical papers related to evaluation issues of digital environment has been collected, analyzed and transformed to electric database forms and then built on database management system to retrieve the appropriate isues for the practical usage of evaluators-in-field.

This paper presents a novel calibration method for a base station system adopting an antenna array. The proposed technique utilizes Zadoff-Chu sequence, which is included in the LTE pilot signal periodically, in order to compute the phase characteristic of each antenna channel. As the Zadoff-Chu sequence exhibits an excellent autocorrelation characteristic, it is possible for the receiving base station to retrieve the Zadoff-Chu sequence transmitted from each mobile terminal. In addition, we can obtain the phase characteristic of each antenna channel, which is the ultimate goal of the calibration procedure. The proposed calibration algorithm has been implemented using an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). We have applied the proposed algorithm to an array consisting of 2 antenna elements for simplicity. the phase value implied to the first and second antenna path is very accurately calculated from the proposed procedure. From the experimental test, the proposed method provides accurate calibration results.

A sensor network is one of the service infra collecting data using sensor nodes and processing collected data in order to provide necessary information to users. To service data on the sensor networks, it is required to process user queries and retrieve data from the network. In this paper, we propose a basis to classify the schemes processing queries and categorize the existing key researches following the proposed basis.

With the rise of interest in sports and introduction of a five-day duty service, it is. increasing the desire for leisure and well-being recently. In this paper, 1 design and implement a baseball broadcasting system for PDAs to offer a sports broadcasting service using wireless network. The implemented baseball broadcasting system is composed of PDA clients, a relay reporter, and a relay server. Users can search and retrieve baseball-related information as well as relay broadcasting information using PDA.

Query-by-example (QBE) is a well-known method for image retrieval. In reality, however, an example image to be used for the query is rarely available. Therefore, it is often necessary to find a good example image to be used for the query before applying the QBE method. Query-by-layout (QBL) is our proposal for that purpose. In particular, we make use of the visual descriptors such as the edge histogram descriptor (EHD) and the color layout descriptor (CLD) in MPEG-7. Since image features of the CLD and the EHD can be localized in terms of a$4{\times}4$ sub-image, we can specify image features such as color and edge distribution on each sub-image separately for image retrieval without a query image. Experimental results show that the proposed query method can be used to retrieve a good image as a starting point for further QBE-based image retrieval.

Numerous challenges have been made to retrieve video using the contents. Recently MPEG-7 had set up a set of visual descriptors for such purpose of searching and retrieving multimedia data. Among them, color and motion descriptors are employed to develop a content-based video retrieval system to search for videos that have similar characteristics in terms of color and motion features of the video sequence. In this paper, the performance of the proposed system is analyzed and evaluated. Experimental results indicate that the processing time required for a retrieval using MPEG-7 descriptors is relatively short at the expense of the retrieval accuracy.

LSB-based steganography is a simple and well known information hiding technique. In most LSB based techniques, a secret message is embedded into a specific position of LSB in the cover pixels. On the other hand, the main threat of LSB-based steganography is steganalysis. This paper proposes an asynchronous-cellular-automata(ACA)-based steganographic method, where secret bits are embedded into the selected position inside the cover pixel by ACA rule 51 and a secret key. As a result, it is very difficult for malicious users to retrieve a secret message from a cover image without knowing the secret key, even if the extraction algorithm is known. In addition, another layer of security is provided by almost random (rule-based) selection of a cover pixel for embedding using ACA and a different secret key. Finally, the experimental results show that the proposed method can be secured against the well-known steganalysis RS-attack.
