항공정비 품질 엔지니어의 핵심역량에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Core Competency of Aircraft Maintenance Quality Engineer)

  • This study identified the core competencies of aircraft maintenance quality engineers and compared the importance and retention of core competencies. Through literature research, 21 core competencies were derived in three areas of management technology, elemenal technology and collaboration technology, and a survey was conducted on the importance and retention of core competencies for 42 aircraft maintenance quality engineers. As a result of the survey, the importance of all core competencies of aircraft maintenance quality engineers is 3.95/5 on average, and the retention of all core competencies is 3.99/5 on average. 'Risk Management', 'Creating Document', 'Honesty/Moral' were identified as the most important competencies in each area, and 'Quality Management', 'Language', 'Honesty/Moral' were identified as the most possessed competencies in each area. An IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) was performed to analyze the details. Through IPA, 'Risk Management' and 'Safety Management' were evaluated as having a low degree of retention compared to a high level of importance. Therefore, they were identified as a core competencies that need to be improved first. In addition, the characteristics of each core competency and the recognition level in the field were also identified. This study will be helpful in defining the roles and functions of aircraft maintenance quality engineers to improve flight quality and prevent aviation accidents.

활동억지시스템으로 보강된 사면의 설계법 제안 (Proposal of a Design Method of slope Reinforced by the Earth Retention System)

  • 본 연구에서는 활동억지시스템으로 보강된 사면에 대한 설계법을 체계화하고, 이에 대한 설계 흐름도를 작성하여 합리적인 사면의 설계가 가능하도록 하였다. 제안된 사면의 설계법은 현장상황조사단계, 사면설계단계, 산사태발생 예측단계, 사면파괴규모 판단단계 및 보강공법 선정단계와 같이 5단계로 구성하였다. 사면파괴규모는 기존에 제안된 사면파괴의 위험성을 평가하는 국외의 각종 기준을 정리하고, 이를 국내에서 발생된 산사태 파괴규모와 함께 분석함으로서 정량적인 기준을 마련하였다. 사면활동체적은 파괴규모가 소규모인 경우 $150m^3$이하이고, 중규모인 경우 $150m^3{\sim}900m^3$이며, 대규모인 경우 $900m^3$상으로 분류하였다. 제안된 사면파괴규모를 토대로 각각의 파괴규모에 따라 활동억지시스템을 결정할 수 있도록 하였다. 한편, 활동억지시스템인 억지말뚝, 쏘일네일링 및 앵커에 대한 각각의 설계법을 제안하여 최적의 사면안정공법을 마련할 수 있도록 하였다.

노인장기요양보험 방문간호사의 재직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 : 전문직업성, 직무만족도, 회복탄력성을 중심으로 (Factors Influencing the Retention intention of Home visiting nurses with Long-term care insurance system in Korea: Focusing on Professionalism, Job satisfaction and Resilience)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인장기요양보험 방문간호사의 전문직업성, 직무만족도와 회복탄력성이 재직의도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구는 노인장기요양보험 데이터베이스에 등록된 방문간호기관에서 근무하는 방문간호사 141명을 대상으로 2019년 4월 1일 부터 2019년 5월 31까지 자가 보고형 설문지를 배부하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, 위계적 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 전문직업성 수준은 5점 만점에 평균 3.51점, 직무만족도는 5점 만점에 평균 3.27점, 회복탄력성은 5점 만점에 평균 3.79점, 재직의도는 5점 만점에 4.04점으로 나타났다. 재직의도와 전문직업성(r=.272), 직무만족도(r=.201) 회복탄력성(r=.530)은 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 최종 회귀모형에서 회복탄력성(β=.455, p<.001), 직무만족도(β=.175, p=.016) 순으로 재직의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이들 변수들의 모형 설명력은 32.0%로 나타났다(F=11.968, p<.001). 본 연구 결과를 토대로, 노인장기요양보험 방문간호사의 재직의도 향상을 위해 회복탄력성 증진 전략에 가장 관심을 기울여야 하고 다음으로 직무만족도 증진 방안 수립이 필요하다.

혐기적 Broth System에서 젖산균의 담즙산염 내성 (Bile Salt-Tolerance of Lactic Acid Bacteria under Anaerobic Broth System)

  • To evaluate bile salt-tolerance of lactic acid bacteria (LAB, Lactobacillus acidophilus ATCC 4356, Lactobacillus casei IFO 3533, Streptococcus thermnophilus KCTC 2185, Lactobacillus lactis ATCC 4797, and Lactobacillus bulgaricus ATCC 11842), We investigated the survivals, acid production and $\beta $-galactosidase activity of LAB under anaerobic broth system. Cellular permeability of LAB and their cellular retention of $\beta $-galactosidase were also examined in the same system. Although the growth of LAB was slightly suppressed by 0.3% bile salt, they showed normal growth curve. Streptococcus thermophilus KCTC 2185 was significantly more resistant to bile salt than the others. The $\beta $-galactosidase activity from Streptococcus thermophilus KCTC 2185 and Lactobacillus bulgaricus ATCC 11842 and their cellular retention of $\beta $-galactosidase decreased by 0.3% bile salt. The cellular permeability of LAB in the presence of bile salt increased significantly.

Improvement of Wet-end Performance and Paper Strength with Polyvinylamine

  • This study was performed to introduce recently developed polyvinylamine as a wet-end process and paper strength improving aids. As a retention and drainage aids, high cationic charged polyvinylamine was more effective at the BCTMP and ONP stock condition than LBKP stock condition. As a dry tensile strength aid, dual system of polyvinylamine with anionic polyacrylamide was the best at the LBKP or ONP stock conditions. On the other hand, polyvinyl amine alone was better than dual system of polyvinylamine with anionic polyacrylamide at the BCTMP condition. As a wet tensile strength aid, polyvinylamine single system and dual system of polyvinylamine with anionic polyacrylamide were good at LBKP, BCTMP and ONP stock conditions. However, poly(aminoamide)-epichlorohydrin resin was good at LBKP and ONP stock conditions but efficiency of poly(aminoamide)-epichlorohydrin resin was remarkably decreased at BCTMP stock condition.

A Qualitative Inquiry Into the Challenges of Medical Education for Retention of General Practitioners in Rural and Underserved Areas of Iran

  • Objectives: General practitioners (GPs) retention in rural and underserved areas highly effects on accessibility of healthcare facilities across the country. Education seems to be a critical factor that affects GPs retention. Thus, the present study aimed at inquiry into medical education challenges that limit their retention in rural and underserved areas. Methods: A qualitative approach was applied for the aim of this study. Data were gathered via 28 semi-structured interviews with experts at different levels of Iran's health system as well as GPs who retained and refused to retain working in rural settings. Interviews mainly were performed face-to-face and in some cases via telephone during 2015 and then coded and analyzed using content analysis approach. Results: Iran's medical education is faced with several challenges that were categorized in four main themes including student selection, medical students' perception about their field of study, education setting and approach, curriculum of medical education. According to experts this challenges could results in making GP graduates disinterested for practicing in rural and underserved areas. Conclusions: Challenges that were found could have negative effects on retention. Modification in student's perception about rural practice could be done via changing education setting and approach and curriculum. These modifications could improve GPs retention in rural and underserved areas.

Soil water retention and hysteresis behaviors of different clayey soils at high suctions

  • Unsaturated soil at high suctions is widespread. Many civil engineering projects are related to the hydro-mechanical behavior of unsaturated soils at high suctions, particularly in arid and semiarid areas. To investigate water retention behaviors of nine clayey soils (one is classified as fat clay and the others are classified as lean clay according to the unified soil classification system), the high suction (3.29-286.7 MPa) was imposed on the specimens at zero net stress by the vapor equilibrium technique. In this paper, the effect of void ratio on the water retention behavior at high suction was discussed in detail. Validation data showed that soil types, i.e., different mineralogical compositions, are critical in the soil water retention behavior at a high suction range. Second, the hysteresis behavior at a high suction range is mainly related to the clay content and the specific surface area. And the mechanism of water retention and hysteresis behavior at high suctions was discussed. Moreover, the maximum suction is not a unique value, and it is crucial to determine the maximum suction value accurately, especially for the shear strength prediction at high suctions. If the soil consists of hydrophilic minerals such as montmorillonite and illite, the maximum suction will be lower than 106 kPa. Finally, using the area of hysteresis to quantify the degree of hysteresis at a high suction range is proposed. There was a good correlation between the area of hydraulic hysteresis and the specific surface area.

계지탕(桂枝湯) 방후주문(方後註文)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A study on post-formula instruction of Kyejitang(桂枝湯))

  • Greater yang disease(太陽病) is a syndrome induced by peripheral obstruction. One of them is "wind stroke(中風)" with the obstruction in lymphatic system. The other obstruction appearing on circulatory system is called "cold damage(傷寒)." Kyejitang(桂枝湯) is the formula prescribed for greater yang wind stroke pattern(太陽中風證) which is caused by peripheral lymphatic duct obstruction. Ramulus Cinamoni acts as a vasodilator and Radix Paeoniae relieves the abdominal tension. They make blood move to the internal organ and this can remove the retention of peripheral lymphatic system. Covering the patient with a blanket and getting him/her to have hot and thin rice gruel causes slight Diaphoresis, contributing to relieving the retention of lymphatic system. Disharmony between nutrient and defense(營衛不和) means that pressure becomes different between lymphatic system and vascular system. Kyejitang(桂枝湯) is called releasing muscles formula(解肌劑) because it can resolve such pressure difference. Diaphoresis is not a means to eliminate pathogenic qi(邪氣) from the body. That is the syndrome proving that the body fluid has moved around when disordered fluid distribution is corrected. Therefore, diaphoresis should be induced weakly all the time. If diaphoresis is induced excessively, body fluid will move more than desired and then illness cannot be cured. In Sanghanlun(傷寒論), dispersing drugs aim at addressing the retention in the exterior field, but it actually applies to the entire exterior and interior to make body fluid move. Therefore, diaphoresis does not just act on exterior field, and freeing the stool does not only apply to interior field. Distribution of body fluid changed by pathogenic qi(邪氣) influences the whole body because the human body has a closed circulatory system. Sanghanlun(傷寒論) has included treatments for pathogenic disease. However, its value should not be limited to pathogenic disease. It is because controlling blood flow by sending body fluid to the place a doctor wants is certainly worth using for treatment of non-exogenous disease or chronic illnesses.

  • Time phased reorder models for non-instaneous receipt was Presented in a recent paper [l]. This paper extends the models under learning effects and learning retention after breaks. The result of this model show that learning and learning retention significantly influence the amount of inventory and production lot size. Sample example demonstrate the application of the proposed methodology.

  • Multivariate data analysis tools were used to improve the understanding of the wet end chemistry and white water system of the Papermill at NorskeCanada Crofton Division. Specifically, the analysis was aimed at identifying what variables were contributing to increased retention aid use and wet end instability. Several models were developed using data sets with up to 88 process variables and over 3000 observations. It was found that increased retention aid use was driven primarily by PCC and TMP usage as well as the addition of Alaskan White Spruce to the TMP furnish.
