영업통제시스템이 판매사원의 직무태도와 판매성과에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Sales-force System on Salesperson's Job Attitude and Sales Performance)

  • Purpose: The salesperson, the core of the operating activities, plays the role of connecting the inside and outside of the company, representing the company to the consumer and identifying and responding to the customer's needs. The department store industry is the most representative retail industry in South Korea, and competition among its peer group and industry is intensifying, requiring differentiated service sales activities and performance from its employees. This study divided the sales force system into activity control(process-oriented control) and output control(performance-oriented control) and verified the differential impact on the job attitude of the salesperson (e.g., job satisfaction and burn-out), respectively. In addition, the effect of job satisfaction and burn-out of the salesperson on the job performance were checked. Research design, data, and methodology: The survey was conducted on 200 sales people working at five branch stores of Hyundai department store in Seoul, and 194 of them were analyzed. The reliability and validity of the variables were analyzed and hypotheses were verified through the SEM. Results: Results have shown that activity control has a greater impact on burn-out compared to output control, and output control has a greater impact on job satisfaction compared to activity control. It has been shown that the salesperson's burn-out does not affect sales performance, but that job satisfaction has a positive effect on sales performance. Conclusions: This study examines the effect of sales force management system such as activity control and output control, on the job attitude and sales performance in department stores. According to the results of this research, each of two control systems have a discriminatory effect on the job attitude variables. For the sales managers of department store, it is recommended to increase the efficiency of sales management by increasing the use of outcome control compared to activity control.

  • 최근 마케팅이나 기업전략 수립분야에서 비지니스 GIS를 적용하기 위한 다양한 응용시스템이 개발되고 있다. 이 중 대부분이 의사결정지원을 위한 정보로서 지리공간상에서의 상권이라고 하는 특정 범위에 대한 통계정보의 산출을 요구한다. 기존에 상권범위의 정의는 대부분 개별점포에 대해 경험치를 적용하여 이루어져 왔으며, 특정업종이나 소비자 상권과 같은 일반적인 의미의 상권을 정의하는 객관적인 방법이 제시되지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 비지니스 GIS 분야에 축적된 점사상 정보에 공간 데이터마이닝 기법을 적용하여 상권의 범위를 추출할 때, 기법 간의 장단점을 비교분석하고, 상권추출의 타당성을 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과 점사상으로 사용된 카드사 가맹점 데이터와 소매체인 회원의 정보를 이용하여 상권의 추출이 가능하며, DENCLUE(DENsity-based CLUstEring) 기법이 적합한 공간 데이터마이닝 기법임을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 물류 정보시스템과 관련된 자동입출고 시스템의 실행 및 최적화에 관한 것이다. 논문은 우선 문헌연구와 이에 따른 사례연구를 제시하고 있다. 사례연구에서는 기업의 프로세스를 분석한 다음 자동입출고 시스템의 실행 및 활용에 대해 조사하였다. 물류정보시스템은 글로벌 환경에서 경쟁력을 유지하기 위해 주요한 구성요소이며 사례연구에서의 기업은 효율적인 물리적 배분관리에 적용하였다. 자동입출고시스템은 저장공간을 극대화하고 생산성 증가, 정확성을 증가시키는 것으로 판명되고 특히 비좁은 통로와 높은 저장선반의 경우 효과적임을 보여주었다.

  • 사용자 인터페이스(user interface, UI) 기능이 왜곡되어 의도적으로 사용자를 기만하거나 유혹하는 다크패턴으로 등장하고 있다. 다크패턴을 인지하지 못한 소비자는 선택권을 제약받고 이로 인해 불필요한 경제적 피해를 보고 있다. 본 연구에서는 질적연구 방법을 통해 온라인 쇼핑몰의 다크패턴에 대한 소비자들의 다양한 쇼핑 감정 및 다크패턴인지 이후의 행동의도를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과 다크패턴 유형에 따라 인지하는 비율은 다소 차이가 있었고, 해당업체에 대한 불신, 사용자 기만, 불쾌함 등의 소비자 감정을 유발하는 것으로 나타났다. 다크패턴 인지 이후의 행동은 아직까지는 적극적으로 해당업체에 항의하여 피해보상을 요구하는 것보다는 재발방지를 위한 다짐, 지인에게 경고 등의 소극적인 행동을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

Cargo Accident with Car Sharing in South Korea

  • Purpose - This paper proposes some ideas with a view to reducing any possible accidents caused by unlicensed drivers and an illegal use of other's name, particularly by teenagers in consideration of easy and simple instruction on smartphone with very weak and mere consciousness on auto life. Research design, data, and methodology - This study analyzes some accident cases between cargo trucks and rental cars in South Korea, and unlicensed vehicle with unlicensed drivers who use rental cars collided with cargo trucks which were loaded a lot of goods to be delivered to buyer designated. In order to fulfill this research, a case study accompanied with literature survey was conducted. Ideal suggestion for the right growth on rental car industry will be realized by legislation of the law. Results - This paper classified bodily injury of the victim, property damage and damaged cargo arising out of the unlicensed who is driving on car sharing service in South Korea. Conclusions - For the purpose of reducing cargo accidents caused by unlicensed drivers and an illegal use of other's name particularly by teenagers, this paper proposes some ideas of Amendment of the law, Paradigm shift of car sharing company, Preparation by association side and Technical Complementary Measures in South Korea.

  • For the development of software industry, offers an expanded software authentication scheme caused by the unauthorized copying of software is to reduce the damage to software developers, retail sales and to promote the development of the software industry was studied. Serial Number of the current software registration is conducted in such a simple verification procedure if the Serial Number only illegal and can be installed on multiple computers, such as program code to allow third parties to enter the Serial Number, or the extract can be used without is a reality. The proposed extension to the software authentication system when you install the software, my phone authentication and MAC Address Authentication Service introduced to distinguish normal user, the user of the MAC Address of the server and software development company that was sent to the registered MAC Address of the computer to be run only by the use of genuine software and to make unauthorized copies of software generated by the software developer can reduce the damage of the proposed plan.

A Study on the Effect of Packaging Design Considering SCM Aspects on Logistics Efficiency (Focusing on the case of domestic A company)

  • This study conducted a case study and a questionnaire analysis in parallel. In the case study, a study was conducted on domestic manufacturer A by analyzing pallet loading efficiency of RRP(Retail Ready Packaging) products and pallet loading efficiency of MWC(Membership Wholesale Club) delivered products. As a result of the pallet loading efficiency simulation of 50 RRP products of Manufacturer A, it was 80.0% based on the T-11 type pallet and 84.3% based on the T-12 type pallet. It was found It refers that the route of producing the product from the manufacturer A and delivering it to the MWC A in the form of RRP resulted in the decrease of the pallet loading efficiency through the change of the loading pattern and the adjustment of the number of loads. As a result of analyzing the questionnaire about whether the overall efficiency of the supply chain will be improved if the operation of the packaging system considering the SCM(Supply Chain Management) aspect is χ2 = 178.500, there was a statistically significant difference at the significance level of 0.000. Manufacturers and logistics companies answered "yes" the most, but distributors answered "is average" the most, confirming that the packaging can be constructed with the highest operational efficiency. Therefore, as a result of confirming the impact of packaging design considering the SCM aspect on logistics efficiency, it indicates the importance of closer collaboration between manufacturers and distributors.

백화점 수퍼마켓의 머천다이징을 고려한 실내디자인 지침에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Interior Design Guidelines in consideration of Merchandising of Department Store Supermarket)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the details of the overall interior design of the department store supermarket retail space, interior design and development, seeks to help change. In this study, a range of research the department store supermarket located in the major department store. Since 2012, new construction or renewal has been done in a department store, was investigated by selecting a total of five locations of two places in the premium supermarket. Conclusions are as followings ; First, In-store merchandising strategies, store configuration strategy, product mix strategies, and the layout plan considering the advanced strategies. Secondly, the interior guidelines are, (1)VP should be planned as an expression of a company or brand management strategies to visualize a concept image of product planning stages of merchandising to entering the store to induce curiosity to customers. (2)PP is by planning purposes, the use of lighting, directing structure, color harmony, by utilizing such as props and small parts must be able to attract attention. (3)IP is the customer to organize display, depending on the type of the display items to facilitate fraud, and the fixture plan in association with it, the customer selects a product must induced to purchase.

The Localization Strategies and Success of Costco : Focusing on a Japanese Mature Retail Market

  • Purpose - This research addresses the question of how an international retailer like Costco can succeed in a foreign mature market and satisfy the local consumers. Our study aims to promote our understanding of how foreign retailers influence local consumers in a mature market with differentiated business models. Research design, data, and methodology - Our study uses company publications, secondary sources of information and the results of a questionnaire survey consisting of 106 participants. Consumer responses were solicited through a questionnaire survey conducted in the city of Kobe in December of 2013. Results - Product differentiation from local retailers in a mature market like Japan gave Costco a competitive edge. Compared with local supermarkets, Costco was preferred by Japanese consumers for its variety of goods that it carries, as well as in-store promotion large package of selling units, in-store amenities, and customer services. Conclusions - First, a theoretical framework is proposed in this study that can aid in developing localization strategies in a mature market such as Japan. Second, it reveals that an international retailer can succeed in a foreign market by stimulating local consumers to change their purchasing behavior, without having to alter the prevailing format of operation.

고객만족도가 기업가치에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Customer Satisfaction on Market Value of the Corporate)

  • Purpose - The most important goal of corporate management is the maximization of firm value in the market. Executives of companies are making effort to increase corporate value and initiate various management strategies, which is to develop the products or service with value. Through these efforts, consumer satisfaction grows and loyalty increases, which leads to the positive change of customer satisfaction index. The purpose of this research is to find out the abnormal return after the KCSI(Korean Customer Satisfaction Index) is announced. Research design, data, and methodology - This research data is collected from 11 years' stock price in KOSPI market and KCSI. The authors analyze the abnormal return triggered by the announcement of KCSI through the event study. Results - First, newly enlisted companies in the KCSI show statistically significant short-term abnormal rate of return. Second, the value of the customer satisfaction index is not the level of customer satisfaction but the direction of the change in the CSI. Conclusion - Customer satisfaction has the important intangible asset in the marketing area. However, firms' investment for CS is not an easy decision, because of the difficulty to measure the effect on corporate market value. This research investigates the change of the market value after the announcement of KCSI. Based on the results, firms have to keep trying to increase KCSI relative to the previous year. And the small company has to struggle for being newly listed in the KCSI.
