In the information society where knowledge plays a significant role, the value of the corporate organization creates knowledge strategically and spreads it to the whole organization so as to reinforce the efficiency of the work force. After KMS(Knowledge Management System) was recognized as one of core competences of company, KMS based on information technology has been introduced actively to many corporate organizations for the implementation of realizing knowledge management. As the strategic use of KMS increases in company, it has attracted attention to the system and the investment in the system, now attention has brought to the effect of the system. The efficiency and effectiveness of KMS has been tackled as one of the most important issues, and then many studies have been implemented to measure the result of the system. The purpose of this study is to overcome these problems and to help make an important decision in establishing introduction strategy by abstracting the reasons and success factors and result indices which are important sources for introducing KMS.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the information content of commercial paper credit rating changes of Korean firms. The result shows neither sinificant daily abnormal returns nor significant cumulative daily abnormal returns over the test window. This ind icates that commercial paper rating changes are not informative to investors. A sensitivity analysis conducted for the portfolio of subsample shows a similar result. This thesis, however, may contribute to the better operation of Korean financial market by providing several directions to establish credit-based financial transactions.

Floods are the most common natural disasters and are annually causing severe destructions worldwide. Human activities, along with expected increased extreme precipitation patterns as a result of climate change enhance the future potential of floods. There are proven evidence that infrastructure based responses to flood disaster is no longer achieving optimum mitigation and have created a false sense of security. Nature-based solutions(NBS) is a widely accepted sustainable and efficient approach for disaster risk reduction and involves the protection, restoration, or management of natural and semi-natural ecosystems to tackle the climate and natural crisis. Adoption of NBS in decision-making, especially in developing nations is limited due to a lack of sufficient scenario-based studies, research, and technical knowledge. This study explores the knowledge gap and challenges on NBS adoption with case study of developing nation, specially for flood management, by the study of multiple scenario analysis in the context of climate, land-use change, and policies. Identification and quantification of the strength of natural ecosystems for flood resilience and water management can help to prioritize NBS in policymaking leading to sustainable measures for integrated flood management.

Risk management is the process that helps to identify hazards, analyze them, and then to create an action plan to avoid and mitigate these hazards. The main objective of risk management in product development and manufacturing is to provide safe and efficient products without spending too many resources. Medical device manufacturers also face enormous risks - regulatory, legal, and financial - based on their products and processes, and the concepts of risk management are particularly important because any single failure may result in serious damages to body or loss of life. In this regard, a set of guidelines for the application of risk management to medical devices has been issued by ISO and specified in the document ISO 14971 Medical devices - Application of risk management to medical devices. The main objective of this study is to investigate the application of risk management to dental implant development and manufacturing processes based on ISO 14971. A general risk management process is first introduced, and the application of ISO 14971 to dental implants is further investigated.

Purpose: This paper treats the survey result from the suppliers of smart factories. Based on the survey results, it is provided suggestions about government policies of the smart factory. Methods: For providing political suggestions, the survey of smart factory is conducted. The survey results are analyzed by the correlation and association methods based on the stratification. Results: The survey results are analyzed for extracting policy-level suggestions. Multiple policy-level suggestions are identified and presented in the conclusion. Conclusion: Six policy-level suggestions are presented for enhancing the management efficiency of suppliers of smart factory.

This study is to prepare curriculum in South Korea to train outstanding individual in the fields of Health Care Management for the global age, hospitals' administration managers, professors and students were targeted to carry out the survey and the collected questionnaires were processed with SPSS Ver. 21.0 statistic package, based on this the suitability of the current Health Care Management curriculum and postgraduate curriculum was inspected and improvement plan was deducted, and also through comparative analysis of the Health Care Management curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate in the United Kingdom and United States, optimum improvement suggestions were made. Based on the research result, the priority to improve and consolidate from undergraduate curriculum was the strengthening of the working-level education, the most needed ability in the future is global negotiation and dispute/conflict adjustment which needs supplementation. Also, after analyzing the undergraduate curriculum of the United States and United Kingdom, it is needed that the development of the capacity to lead organizations for healthcare and subjects for the establishment of health policy should be reflected.

In recent years, organizations have chosen a team-organization as a standard activity level and it leads a significant change in process of knowledge producing. Nevertheless team-organization for building up effective performance and a good communication in organization has influenced knowledge management performance, the empirical analysis and survey have not proved yet. This study, therefore, makes an analysis that the change of organization base on team activity influences knowledge management performance. This study, based on 312 data by using LISREL as a model for studying, provides a result that a team-based activity positively influences knowledge management efficiency.

We propose a method to analyze user requirements to design a virtual reality-based risk management system. This paper presents surveys, interviews, prototype evaluation methods, and implementation process. Architectural heritage is easily exposed to natural and artificial dangers caused by various material combinations and structural features. So, risk management of cultural heritage plays a key role in preserving and managing cultural heritage. However, risk management has been carried out through empirical methods using distributed data. This study analyzes user requirements for designing functions and interfaces of VR-based risk management system and evaluates prototypes to overcome the above problems. As a result, most heritage managers wanted a system function to support risk analysis and response. They also found that they prefer 2D information such as existing drawings and photos rather than 3D information. The results of the user requirements analysis derived from this study will be used to create risk management applications.

Purpose: This study suggests a method of risk assessment based on RAM analysis in order to reduce the subjectivity. Methods: RAM analysis is used to assessment risk consequence(RC) and risk likelihood(RL). Result: The calculated result of the product, which has higher risk assessment, shows lower MTBF system. Conclusion: Risk assessment based on objective database will provide objectivity and effective quality control.

Recently AEC industry has required construction automation according to becoming large and complex. Thus BIM-based construction project is increased and used in whole fields of AEC industry. Quantity take-off and estimation fields are important factor for decision-making in conceptual and schematic design stages of construction projects. The purpose of this study improves reliability of the estimation through QTO based on Open BIM. Scope and method to apply QTO is to select conceptual design stage through LoD(Level of Detail) in AEC field and to extract information from BIM model through analysis of IFC structure. This study proceeds three step to make BIM model and check the model quality and calculate QTO. The methodology of QTO using IFC is to verify of result in this study and expects utilizing in design stage of construction projects. The result from this study is expected to decrease the risk factor and time of estimation in the project early phase through improving reliability of schematic estimation.
