  • This study assessed 1) the coverage of the entry-level responsibilities and competencies for certified health education specialists (CHES) developed in the United States (U.S.) by 140 current health education-related professional preparation programs in Japan, and 2) barriers and concerns related to the development of Japanese health educators. A cross-sectional survey study was conducted to Japanese professors teaching health education-related courses at 4-year universities/colleges in Japan. All entry-level CHES responsibilities and competencies were generally covered to different degrees by the study respondents. The top 3 responsibilities most emphasized by the respondents were Responsibilities I, related to need assessment skills, Responsibility II, related to planning health education programs, and Responsibility III, related to implement health education programs. The 3 competencies most frequently covered by the respondents were related to needs assessment skills (Competencies 1-3). The competencies least covered by the respondents were those related to Responsibilities V (Competencies 1619). Other competencies related to role modeling, cultural competencies, and planning youth health education programs, were recommended. In addition, the major concerns and opinions that the respondents reported for this topic pertained to 1) Professional training, 2) The need for well-defined professional roles, and 3) The importance of licensing. The results suggested that Japanese health education-related programs cover all CHES responsibilities and competencies developed in the U.S. to different degrees. However, they tend to focus more on needs assessment, planning and implementing health education programs. Although possible responsibilities for future Japanese health educators were recommended, further research to identify the most appropriate responsibilities and competencies for this profession is needed. Major barriers, concerns and opinions reported by the respondents should be discussed at future meetings for this profession.

  • This research examined (1) the effects of the large scaled corporations' performances in the area of corporate economic responsibilities and corporate philanthropic responsibilities on the anti-corporate sentiments and (2) the effects of the anti-corporate sentiments on the consumers' evaluations of the large scaled corporations. The results of path analysis revealed that the corporate performances in philanthropic responsibilities had a negative effect on the anti-corporate sentiments as expected. However, different from the expectation, the corporate performances in economic responsibilities had a positive influence on the anti-corporate sentiments. This unexpected relationship between economic responsibilities and anti-corporate sentiments might be caused by the Korean consumers' perceptions that the more the large scaled corporations conducted their business activities illegally and unethically, that the more they achieved the various economic responsibilities. The anti-corporate sentiments showed the negative effects on the consumers' evaluations of the large scaled corporations.

  • In view of the problem of the invalidity of the incentive mechanism of the ecological subsidies, which is due to the information asymmetry between the government's supervision and the enterprise endeavor to fulfill their ecological responsibilities, this paper attempts to analyze the supervision of ecological subsidies based on the Principal-agent Model. Two conclusions are drawn: firstly, the government's supervision regarding the effect of the enterprises' fulfilling the ecological responsibilities can significantly reduce the information asymmetry; secondly, the government's incentive strength and the enterprises' endeavor level of fulfilling the ecological responsibilities are both improving the surveillance dynamics. Here is the suggestion: with the increasing of the surveillance dynamics of the government and the transparency of the enterprises' fulfilling the ecological responsibilities, the government should meanwhile increase the subsidies incentive strength, therefore, to promote the effort level of the enterprises' fulfilling the ecological responsibilities to approach to the Pareto optimal value.

All obligations and responsibilities of parties concerned occur when the receiving bank accept the originator's payment order to executes. • Today the concept of corporate social responsibility has become an essential element for coexistence of corporations and the society. In this study the impact of four responsibilities of business organizations proposed by Archie Carroll (economic, legal, ethical, and discretionary) on customer loyalty through the mediating effect of trust and company-consumer identification is analyzed. A questionnaire survey was conducted for four well-known Korean companies (Dong Suh Food, LG Household and Health Care, Samsung Electronics, and Hyundai Motor). After factor analysis, legal and ethical responsibilities were grouped as the same factor, thus three social responsibilities were finally used for hypotheses testing. Major findings were as follows: First, economic responsibilities had positive impact on honesty trust, professionalism trust, favorableness trust, and company-consumer identification, Second, legal/ethical responsibilities were found to have significant effects on honesty trust, favorableness trust, and company-consumer identification. Third, in the case of discretionary responsibilities, professionalism trust, favorableness trust, and company-consumer identification were revealed to have a significant positive relationship. Fourth, only two trust variables (honesty and professionalism) and company-consumer identification had positive influence on the loyalty of customers. These findings are expected to help decision makers to set up corporate objectives and choose action items for corporate social responsibility. At the last part, implications of the study and future research directions were discussed.

  • An increase in interests in consumers' social responsibilities, or ethical spending, starts from a recognition that the consumption of an individual does not stop with the individual, but also affects overall society. The recognition of consumers' social responsibilities leads to demands for corporate social responsibility. Therefore, this study analyzed how social responsibility recognition affects consumers' needs for corporate social responsibility using college students. All data was analyzed with the SPSS Windows 18.0 program in terms of frequency, Crobach's ${\alpha}$, factor analyses, paired t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression. The results are as following: first, the recognition level of consumers' social responsibilities in college students was at an average level and the consumer's needs for corporate social responsibility were higher than usual. Second, the grade level, military experience, and economic status of the college students changed their views on consumers' needs for corporate social responsibility. Groups with higher consumers' social responsibilities had higher consumer demands for corporate social responsibility. Through this, we can see that consumers' social responsibilities affects the consumer's needs for corporate social responsibility.
