  • Each area of society has changed because of the development of information technology. Especially, the advent of NCW based on the technology of network has become a new paradigm for executing warfare. Effectiveness of NCW can be maximized by building the C4I system which is a core system of NCW. However, if we don't consider the influence in term of human dimension, we can't expect the effect of C4I system, since the key factor in C4I is human. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for evaluating Combat Power Effectiveness by considering the Influence of Human Factors that wasn't reflected in the past. Based on experimental validation our algorithm is more substantial than baseline algorithms. In addition, we proved that the Influence of Human Factors(e.g. collaboration) is the most important in battlefield. Therefore, proposed algorithm can be used for enhancing not only mission effectiveness in terms of military field but also work performance by effective Human Resource Management in terms of an enterprise.

  • Environmental planning includes resource allocation and spatial planning process for the conservation and management of environment. Because the spatialization of the environmental planning is not specifically addressed in the relevant statutes, it actually depends on the qualitative methodology such as expert judgement. The results of the qualitative methodology have the advantage that the accumulated knowledge and intuition of the experts can be utilized. However, it is difficult to objectively judge whether it is enough to solve the original problem or whether it is the best of the possible scenarios. Therefore, this study proposed a methodology to quantitatively and objectively spatialize various environmental planning. At first, we suggested a quantitative spatial planning model based on an optimization algorithm. Secondly, we applied this model to two kinds of environmental planning and discussed about the model performance to present the applicability. Since the models were developed based on conceptual study site, there was a limitation in showing possibility of practical use. However, we expected that this study can contribute to the fields related to environmental planning by suggesting flexible and novel methodology.

  • The influence of temperature on electricity demand is increasing due to extreme weather and climate change, and the climate impacts involves nonlinearity, asymmetry and complexity. Considering changes in government energy policy and the development of the fourth industrial revolution, it is important to assess the climate effect more accurately for stable management of electricity supply and demand. This study aims to analyze the effect of temperature change on electricity demand using the partial linear model. The main results obtained using the time-unit high frequency data for meteorological variables and electricity consumption are as follows. Estimation results show that the relationship between temperature change and electricity demand involves complexity, nonlinearity and asymmetry, which reflects the nonlinear effect of extreme weather. The prediction accuracy of in-sample and out-of-sample electricity forecasting using the partial linear model evidences better predictive accuracy than the conventional model based on the heating and cooling degree days. Diebold-Mariano test confirms significance of the predictive accuracy of the partial linear model.

  • In this study, as the role and function of university libraries have been expanded to become a base for local information services and local information service centers along with the demands of the times, this study seeks to find ways to revitalize university library services using local cultural contents. I did. As a result, first, university libraries select core cultural contents representing the region or contents related to people from the region as regional cultural contents, receive information from relevant institutions in the region, or directly It must perform social, cultural and educational functions based on culture and art. Second, when planning programs related to local cultural contents, university libraries should proceed in the form of combining local visits, learning, reading, and experiences. Third, university libraries should play a role as a repository of cultural resources and a hub of cultural resources through systematic and stable preservation of cultural resources and widespread service expansion through the establishment of a local cultural resource management system.

  • Advanced countries, animal wastes are produced using bioenergy and methane gas technology. In Korea, many researches are being actively carried out to develop livestock manure as a resource technology rather than a animal waste. However, the production of bio-gas using livestock manure is still in the process of development of functional livestock and compost because of low economic efficiency with livestock manure recycling technology. In this paper, in order to accurately estimate the manure output, It will calculate the manure excretion if you have finished input the number of pigs. In addition, we simulated the fertilization rate of three elements of NPK fertilizer per 100 square meters automatically.

  • The importance of parallel programming seriously emerges ever since the modern microprocessor architecture has been shifted to the multi-core system. Transactional Memory has been proposed to address synchronization which is usually implemented by using locks. However, the lock based synchronization method reduces the parallelism and has the possibility of causing deadlock. In this paper, we propose an efficient method to utilize transactional memory for the situation which has high contention. The proposed idea is based on the theoretical analysis and it is verified with simulation results. The simulation environment has been implemented using HTM(Hardware Transactional Memory) systems. We also propose a model of the dining philosopher problem to discuss the efficient resource management using the transactional memory technique.

  • In this study, copper (II) oxide powder for electroplating was prepared by recovering CuCl2 from NaClO3 type etching wastes via recovered non-sintering two step chemical reaction. In case of alkali copper carbonate [mCuCo3·nCu(OH)2], first reaction product, CuCo3 is produced more than Cu(OH)2 when the reaction molar ratio of sodium carbonate is low, since m is larger than n. As the reaction molar ratio of sodium carbonate increased, m is larger than n and Cu(OH)2 was produced more than CuCO3. In the case of m has same values as n, the optimum reaction mole ratio was 1.44 at the reaction temperature of 80℃ based on the theoretical copper content of 57.5 wt. %. The optimum amount of sodium hydroxide was 120 g at 80℃ for production of copper (II) oxide prepared by using basic copper carbonate product of first reaction. At this time, the yield of copper (II) oxide was 96.6 wt.%. Also, the chloride ion concentration was 9.7 mg/L. The properties of produced copper (II) oxide such as mean particle size, dissolution time for sulfuric acid, and repose angle were 19.5 mm, 64 second, and 34.8°, respectively. As a result of the hole filling test, it was found that the copper oxide (II) prepared with 120 g of sodium hydroxide, the optimum amount of basic hydroxide for copper carbonate, has a hole filling of 11.0 mm, which satisfies the general hole filling management range of 15 mm or less.

  • This study examined whether the Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988 (FHAA) in the US provides more home accessibility features and reduces the home accessibility problems of senior residents with physical disability. The 2011 American Housing Survey data with a sample of 2,326 senior residents age 55 and over with physical disability and living in multifamily housing built between 1970 and 2011 were analyzed. We compared senior residents living in multifamily before (1970-1990) and after (1991-2011) the FHAA. The results show that senior residents living in multifamily housing before the FHAA were at a greater disadvantage because they were more likely to live in older buildings located in urban areas, yet paid lower rent and received government subsidies. This study confirmed that the FHAA enabled residents of multifamily housing to have more home accessibility features. However, there was no significant difference in perceived home accessibility problems between the two groups, indicating that senior residents in multifamily housing have experienced home accessibility problems both before and after the FHAA. This study has important implications for housing policy makers to consider home accessibility features for multifamily housing buildings before the FHAA, and to revisit if the FHAA sufficiently compensates physical disability of senior resident living in multifamily housing after the FHAA.

  • The Purpose of this research is to perform survey on employees of Non-Government Consumer Organization and interview with ADR personnel from Korean Consumer Protection Board to have thorough grasp of problems among consumer ADR. Also come up with plan that will activate Non-Government Consumer organization ADR. Result of this research states following remarks as solution First, consumers from Seoul and Gyeonggi area is the only people who use ADR in Non-Government Consumer organization, so other local governments need to concentrate on consumers from rural area to take advantage of the service. Second, low activity of ADR and legal procedure support compare to other services provide from Non-Government Consumer organization. Third, statistic shows that employees from Non-Government Consumer organization recognize importance of consumer's ADR and government's support as well as enforcement of law. Forth, the preparation of Consumer ADR in Non-Government Consumer organization, selecting committee is the most important procedures are reinforce human resource, improvement of organization structure. Fifty, order to establish Consumer ADR in Non-Government Consumer organization, recruit professional manpower is the priority and financial support is also important. All these result would help improve the activity of ADR in Non-Government Consumer organization, which will lead the organization to be more professionalize, globalize and able to segment the market. Further more, Non-Government Consumer organization would develop better ways to take itself to another level to provide better service. Also, create an institution that will help consumer's dispute and legal procedure. It will prevent future victims and protect consumer's right.
