Because information society as a lather environment has different characteristics with the industrial one, we need to get the new guideline for the development of family resource management. So, this study was purposed to explore the importance of the information as a resource that is to be managed in the information society. To find the answer, challenge of the family resource management to be with, characteristics of the information and the information society, their effects on He family resource management, academic research patterns and activities of the public institutions were examined. As results, first, we need to focus on the family as a producer rather than a consumer. Second, we have to give the model of cuber life to the nomads in the information society. Third, we need to develope a new curriculm for students to play their parts in the ICT industry. Lastly, our efforts to make networks between researchers and persons in the In industry are needed.

GPRS is designed for transmitting packet data and supposed to take its radio resource form the pool of channels unused by GSM voice services. In this paper, The GPRS and GSM circuit switched services share the same radio resource. Whenever a channel is not used by circuit switched services, it may be utilized by GPRS. In this paper, the main aim is performance and comparison resource management policies with channel de-allocation in GPRS network. Three resource management policies is voice priority, R-reservation, dynamic reservation.

Since a construction project is a series of works that utilizes resources to accomplish the project goal for a given time period, efficient resource management is a prerequisite for the success of the project. Two major areas of resource management are resource constrained scheduling focusing on the limited resource availability and resource leveling focusing on smoothing resource usage pattern on the fixed project completion time. It is not available, however, to apply both techniques to a project at the same time. This paper proposes a model to enhance the minimum moment algorithm of resource leveling, aiming to find an efficient usage of resources and an appropriate project completion time. A survey is performed to evaluate the major five factors using the AHP.

This preliminary study held in two Indonesian state-owned enterprises (SOEs) showed empirical evidence that top management commitment was perceived to be the most important critical factor contributing to enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation success, compared to top management support and top management involvement. Therefore, top management and middle management must continually show commitment during the ERP implementation process. This finding could serve as a reference for further study in a larger number of Indonesian SOEs.

This study identifies characteristics of human resources management in institutional household and the organization of institutional household according to user; child, adolescent and the old. The key issue in providing fast and reliable access on cloud services is the effective management of resources in a cloud system. However, the high variation in cloud service access rates affects the system performance considerably when there are no default routines to handle this type of occurrence. Adaptive techniques are used in resource management to support robust systems and maintain well-balanced loads within the servers. This paper presents an adaptive resource management for cloud systems which supports the integration of intelligent methods to promote quality of service (QoS) in provisioning of cloud services. A technique of dynamically assigning cloud services to a group of cloud servers is proposed for the adaptive resource management. Initially, cloud services are collected based on the excess cloud services load and then these are deployed to the assigned cloud servers. The assignment function uses the proposed proportional ordering which efficiently assigns cloud services based on its resource consumption. The difference in resource consumption rate in all nodes is analyzed periodically which decides the execution of service assignment. Performance evaluation showed that the proposed dynamic service assignment (DSA) performed best in throughput performance compared to other resource allocation algorithms.

NGN is a packet-based converged network to support session and non-session based services in QoS-enabled broadband transport technologies. Resource and admission control functions(RACF) of NGN have been considering COPS and SNMP as resource management protocols to collect network topology and resource status information of transport network. This paper defines requirements of resource management in NGN transport network, and proposes protocol independent information model to keep consistency of data models of each resource management protocol. Based on this information model described with UML class diagram, we designed and implemented NGN resource management system on Web Services.

This research aims to present a development plan on the Korean diaspora information resource management in a viewpoint document information and archives. This study consists of two aspects : a document investigation based on Korean diaspora and information resource and in a practical examine based on a spot of life, settlement, and movement of overseas. A lot of Korea Diaspora have immigrated to Japan, China and Russia mostly with other people in the political and economic dominant cause. They are produced a various of document information and was formed information resource management and archives in a library, a newspaper office and a publishing company. The result of this research was looked forward to help to R&D of information resource management in values and competencies for Korean diaspora.

The purpose of this study is to review the concept of home-based work, introduce the activities of American home economists on home-based work and propose the tasks of family resource management for home-based work. Home-based works is defined as the work which generates income at home and classified 3 types: home-based business, employed home-based work and homework. The activities of American scholars are reviewed focusing on the Coorperative Regional Research Project, NE-167, entitled "At-Home Income Generation: Impact on Management, Productivity and Stability in Rural/Urban Families"and the participants of the project. Increasing interest in family problems caused by social environment changes has elevated the importance of strong family policy. That is why Framework Act on Healthy Families has enacted in 2004 in Korea and it marked the 10th anniversary of establishing the law. This study finds out the meaning of enacting the law and an academic field of Family Resource Management through reviewing and analyzing the studies on the healthy families from 2000 to 2013 year in Journal of Korean Family Resource Management Association. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, we divide research themes into three parts: policy, practice(I)(center management), practice(II)(program development & efficiency), specialist area. The research trends have most focused on the issue of practice(II), that is, program analysis and development, contents review, because of the settlement of delivery system after the early of law establishment. But it is needed to rethink research themes because it has been dealt with not academical researches on theoretical basis but practical ones, for example, program development on Healthy Families Center and the tendency still lasts until now. Second, more than half of research methods have been concentrated on contents analysis and about 70% of research objects are focused on the center program. It needs to adopt various research methods and research objects. Lastly, it is necessary to make an academic identity clear that can be faithful to Family Resource Management Studies.
