고분자 감웅성 LB막을 이용한 One-channel 가스센서의 개발연구 (A Study on Development of One-channel Gas Sensor Using Polymeric Sensitive LB Films)

  • The study on the development of one-channel gas sensor using the quartz crystal analyzer were attempted. The adsorption and desorption behavior of organic gases were investigated using the resonant frequency and resistance method of quartz crystal. The sensitive materials were deposited on the quartz crystal analyzer(QCA) by using Langmuir-Blodgett method. To investigate the response characteristics of organic vapours and response mechanism, resonant frequency-resonant resistance (F-R) diagram was used. In our experimental results, the response mechanism between sensitive LB film and organic vapours was obtained using F-R diagram. And the position of each organic vapour were different as to the kind and injection amount. Thus F-R diagram can be applied to one-channel gas sensor using the QCA and useful to analyze the response mechanism between organic vspours and sensitive LB films.

공진수로 내장형 유공방파제의 반사특성에 관한 수치해석 연구 (Numerical Analysis of Reflection Characteristics of Perforated Breakwater with a Resonant Channel)

  • 본 연구에서는 공진을 유도하는 수로를 이용한 새로운 개념의 유공방파제를 제안하려 한다. 공진수로에는 유공판을 설치하여 흐름분리현상에 의한 파랑에너지의 소산을 유도한다. 종래의 수실과 유공벽을 이용한 방파제에 비하여 공진수로 내장형 유공방파제는 두 가지의 장점을 들 수 있는데, 하나는 목표 차단파랑에 따라서 수로의 설계가 용이하며 보다 장주기 파랑에 대하여도 적용이 가능하다. 또 하나는 유공부가 쇄파력이 집중되는 수면부근보다 아래에 위치함으로써 구조적 안정성이 개선된다. 파랑에너지의 소산은 방파제 전면에서의 반사율로서 평가하였고, 수치해석은 선형 포텐셜 이론에 기초한 Galerkin의 유한요소모델을 이용하였다. 수로의 고유주기와 입사파의 주기가 일치하는 부근에서 적절한 에너지 손실을 확인할 수 있었으며 에너지 손실의 양은 수로의 형상, 위치 및 유공율의 영향을 받았다.

Power Flow Control of Four Channel Resonant Step-Down Converters

  • This paper proposes a new power flow control method for soft-switched, four channel, five level resonant buck dc-dc converters. These converters have two input channels, which can be supplied from sources with identical or different voltages, and four output channels with arbitrary output voltages. They are specially designed to supply multilevel inverters. The design methodology for their power flow control has been developed considering a general case when the input voltages, output voltages and loads can be asymmetrical. A special emphasize is paid to the limitations and restrictions of operation. The theoretical studies are confirmed by numerical simulations and laboratory tests carried out at various operation points. Exploiting the advantages of the newly proposed power control strategy, the converter can supply five level inverters in dc microgrids, active filters, power factor correctors and electric drives. They can also play an interfacing role in renewable energy systems.

  • The new system for identification of organic vapours and analysis method of mechanism between organic vapours and sensitive materials were attempted using the resonant resistance and resonant frequency of Quartz Crystal Analyzer (Q. C. A.). The resonant resistance shift means rheological changes in sensitive LB films occurred by the adsorption of organic vapours, while the resonant frequency shift represent the mass of organic vapour loaded in or on the sensitive LB films. It is thought that we can obtain more accurate response mechanism of organic vapour using the resonant frequency and resonant resistance diagram. The polymeric sensitive material were quantitively depositied using the LB method. In the experimental results, the adsorption behavior of organic vapour response can be decided by two type ; surface adsorption and penetration into sensitive material. Organic vapours had different positions in the Frequency-Resistance (F-R) diagram as to the kinds and concentrations of organic vapours. Thus F-R diagram can be applied to the development of one channel gas sensing system using the Quartz Crystal Analyzer.

Na 원자의 2광자 공명 3광자 이온화 (Two-Photon-Resonant Three-Photon Ionization of Na Atom)

  • Na 원자 증기에 대한 2광자 공명 3광자 이온화 실험을 실시하여 이온신호의 스펙트럼, 선폭, AC Stark 이동 및 이온화율의 레이저 강도 의존성 등을 측정하였으며, 이때 2광자 공명준위는 4D 준위[과정 I]와 5S 준위[과정 II] 였다. 과정 I과 II에서 이온신호 스펙트럼의 반치폭은 레이저의 강도(I)에 비례하였으며, 이온화율은 이론적으로 알려진 바와 같이 낮은 레이저 강도 영역에서 I3에 비례하여 증가하였다. 과정 I의 이온신호는 과정 II에 비해 20~25배 정도 컸으며, 3S$\longrightarrow$4D 전이의 Ac Stark 이동계수는 $174\pm60MHz/MW/textrm{cm}^2$로 측정되었다.

원격 화학 센서로 활용 가능한 플렉서블 미세유체 메타물질 흡수체 (Flexible Microfluidic Metamaterial Absorber for Remote Chemical Sensor Application)

  • 본 논문에서는 원격 화학 센서로 활용 가능한 플렉서블 미세유체 메타물질 흡수체를 제안한다. 제안된 흡수체는 잉크젯 프린팅 기법으로 종위 기판 위에 인쇄한 분할고리공진기(SRCR: Split Ring Cross Resonator)와 Polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) 기판에 레이저 식각된 미세유체 채널로 구성되어 있어 매우 유연한 특징을 보인다. 본 연구에서 제안한 메타물질 흡수체는 미세유체 채널에 주입된 화학물질에 따른 실효 유전율의 변화를 공진주파수의 이동으로 감지할 수 있다. 제안된 흡수체는 시뮬레이션과 측정을 통하여 성능을 검증하였다. 측정 결과, 공기의 경우에는 10.49 GHz에서 흡수가 되었고, 에탄올과 탈이온수의 경우에는 각각 10.04 GHz와 8.9 GHz에서 흡수체로 동작함을 확인할 수 있었다.

LLC 공진형 컨버터를 이용한 독립제어 가능한 2 채널 LED 구동회로 (Independently-Controlled Dual-Channel LED Driver using LLC Resonant Converter)

  • The independently regulated dual-output LLC resonant converter using only one power stage and one control IC is proposed in this paper. The conventional dual-output LLC resonant converter requires the extra non-isolated DC/DC converter to obtain the tightly regulated slave output voltage, which results in the low power conversion efficiency and high production costs. On the other hand, since the proposed converter controls the master and slave output voltages by pulse width modulation(PWM) and pulse frequency modulation(PFM), it can achieve tightly regulated dual output voltages without the additional non-isolated DC/DC converter. Therefore, it features a high efficiency and low cost. To confirm the validity of the proposed converter, theoretical analysis and experimental results from a 40W LED driver prototype are presented.

  • A multiple output dc-dc resonant converter topology for an independent voltage control technique is proposed, using a narrow frequency selection band-pass filters. The multi-output converter is supplied by a single source inverter with the superposed sinusoidal signals reserved for each output. A series-series parallel resonant topology is utilized to implement the narrow frequency selection channels for minimum interference. Finally the experimental setup for four output dc-dc converter is verified with the narrow channel frequencies of 26 kHz, 32 kHz, 38 kHz and 46 kHz.

  • In this study, Active noise controlis implemented with single channel and multi-channel adaptive algorithm in 3 dimensional reverberant enclosure sound. field, which occurrs in complicated acoustic mode. First, for the one case excited with the resonant frequency of an enclosure, a target of control and the other cases excited with band-pass filtered random noise(100~400Hz), it is implemented to control reducing interior noise of enclosure with single channel and realtime multi-channel adaptive algorithm for global noise reduction in enclosure.

  • The effects of ring radius and coupling spacing on the free spectral range (FSR), full width at half maximum (FWHM), quality factor, and sensitivity of single-channel and add-drop channel slot ring resonators were systematically investigated using FIMMPROP and PICWAVE numerical software. The single-channel ring resonator exhibited better characteristics, namely, a wider FSR and narrower FWHM compared with the add-drop structure; thus, it was evaluated to be more suitable for biochemical sensors. The FSR, FWHM, quality factor, and sensitivity for a single channel ring resonator with a radius of 59.4 ㎛ and coupling gap of 0.5 ㎛ were 2.4 nm, 0.087 nm, 17677, and 550 [nm/RIU], respectively.
