Examination of Efficiency Based on Air Gap and Characteristic Impedance Variations for Magnetic Resonance Coupling Wireless Energy Transfer

  • In this paper wireless power transmission system based on magnetic resonance coupling circuit was carried out. With the research objectives based on the mutual coupling model, mathematical expressions of optimal coupling coefficients are examined. Equivalent circuit parameters are calculated by Maxwell software, and the equivalent circuit was solved by Matlab software. The power transfer efficiency of the system was derived by using the electrical parameters of the equivalent circuit. System efficiency was analyzed depending on the different air gap values for various characteristic impedances. Hence, magnetic resonance coupling involves creating a resonance and transferring the power without radiating electromagnetic waves. As the air gap between the coils increased the coupling between the coils were weakened. The impedance of circuit varied as the air gap changed, affecting the power transfer efficiency.

  • This paper presents a theoretical approach to describe the vibration characteristics of a piezoelectric shell transducer. Governing equations for the motion of the piezoelectric shell are classified and simplified according to the boundary conditions. Applied mechanical and electrical boundary conditions have yielded each characteristic equation for circumferential, longitudinal, and radial motions of the piezoelectric shell transducer. Theoretical calculations of the resonance frequencies have been compared with the results obtained by the experiment and have shown a good agreement.

백래시 크기 변화 감지를 위한 주파수응답특성의 활용 (The Utilization of Frequency Response Characteristic for the Detection of Change of Backlash Magnitude)

  • 본 논문에서는 기어감속 서보시스템의 모터입력전압 크기를 적절히 감소시키면 모터입력전압에 대한 모터각속도에서 나타나는 주파수응답특성에 미치는 백래시 영향이 매우 커지게 됨을 보여 주였다. 또한 주파수응답선도에서 나타나는 반공진 및 공진주파수 변화량을 관찰하여 기어감속 서보시스템 내 기어 백래시 변화를 감지할 수 있는 방법의 유용성을 이론적, 시뮬레이션 및 실험적으로 검증하였다. 반공진주파수 변화가 공진주파수 변화 보다 안정적으로 계측될 수 있으므로 백래시 크기 변화감지 시 반공진주파수 변화량 관찰이 좀 더 유용하며, 공진주파수는 모터입력전압을 충분히 감속시켜야 급격한 변화를 관찰할 수 있음을 보여주었다. 본 연구는 기어감속 서보시스템 내 백래시 크기 변화 감지에 대한 향후 연구에 있어서 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이라고 생각한다.

  • This pap4er analyzes resonance characteristics of a slave motor that is not controlled by load and parameter differences between Dual motors during parallel operation in middle-low speed. Dual SPMSMs(Surface mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) connected in parallel to a single inverter controlled by the master and slave control in this paper. Based on the stability analysis of the SPMSM for a variation of torque angle, the 6th nonlinear state equation of the torque angle variation in the SIMM(Single Inverter Multi Motor) structure is derived according to a mathematical model for the dual motors. In general, an analysis of the 6th order nonlinear state equation is complex. Therefore, a resonance frequency generated from the slave motor is found from the characteristic equation of the 2nd order system obtained by linearization and model reduction near steady state operation point. Through simulations and experiments, it is confirmed that the stability analysis of the SPMSMs and state equation models are useful for the variation of the torque angle analyzed in this paper.

  • Damping may change the response characteristics of nonlinear oscillations due to the parametric excitation of a thin cantilever beam. When the natural frequencies of the first bending and torsional modes are of the same order of magnitude, we can observe the one-to-one combination resonance in the perturbation analysis depending on the characteristic parameters. The nonlinear behavior about the combination resonance reveals a chaotic motion depending on the natural frequencies and damping ratio. We can analyze the chaotic dynamics by using the eigenvalue analysis of the perturbed components. In this paper, we derived the equations for autonomous system and solved them to obtain the characteristic equation. The stability analysis was carried out by examining the eigenvalues. Numerical integration gave the physical behavior of each mode for given parameters.

  • 본 논문에서는 대역폭이 확장된 특성을 가지는 UHF 대역 수동형 RFID 태그를 제안하였다. 제안된 안테나는 미앤더 안테나의 구조를 사용하여 소형화 특성을 얻었으며, 두 개의 방사체를 이용하여 이중 공진을 발생시킴으로써 대역폭 확장의 특성을 얻었다. 두 방사체의 위치 및 길이를 조절하여 제안된 안테나는 스미스 차트 상에서 임의의 임피던스 지점에서 이중 공진을 만들 수 있었으며, 넓은 대역에서 태그 칩과 정합을 이룰 수 있었다. 또한 시뮬레이션 및 측정을 통하여 제안된 안테나가 하나의 공진을 가지는 태그 안테나보다 대역폭이 확장되었음을 확인하였다.

  • Thiemann's disease is a form of idiopathic avascular necrosis of the immature epiphyses of the phalanges of the fingers and toes. Few cases of Thiemann's disease have been reported because the disease is rare and difficult to diagnose. To the best of our knowledge, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings of Thiemann's disease have not been reported. Here, we report a case of Thiemann's disease diagnosed by typical clinical symptoms and characteristic MRI findings before radiologic bony abnormalities were apparent.

  • 본 연구에서는 초음파원자현미경을 이용하여 비파괴적인 표면탄성이미지 분석과 나노표면에서의 기계적 물성 평가를 연구하였다. 이를 위해 접촉역학 특성에 따른 캔틸레버의 공진주파수 변화를 이론적으로 해석하고 실험적으로 측정하였다. 스프링-질량 모델과 Herzian 이론을 이용하여 계산한 이론적인 접촉공천주파수는 초음파원자현미경 캔틸레버의 실험적인 접촉 공진주파수의 변화와 매우 유사하였다. 결과적으로, 초음파원자현미경의 표면 높이 이미지와 진폭이미지를 성공적으로 얻을 수 있었고 진폭신호를 통하여 시료표면에서의 탄성특성을 정성적으로 평가하였다.

  • This paper presents the numerical analysis of piezoelectric devices using three-dimensional finite element analysis. The characteristic of piezoelectric transducer, such as mechanical displacement and electrical are analyzed and the validity is confirmed by experiments Applying the finite element routine to a piezoelectric transformer, the resonance features electrical impedance. the ratio of step-up voltage and vibration mode of piezoelectric transformer are calculated numerically By using three-dimensional finite element method effects of width variation to resonance features, electrical input impedance and the voltage step-up ratio for a piezoelectric transformer, can be considered in design procedure.
