감마선 처리에 의한 웅성불임 및 왜성형질의 유전자변형 들잔디(Zoysia japonica Steud.) 선발 (Selection of Male-sterile and Dwarfism Genetically Modified Zoysia japonica through Gamma Irradiation)

  • The aim of this study is selection of the male-sterile plant for inhibiting transgene flow through gamma-irradiation ($^{60}Co$) at the pollination and fertilization cycle of herbicide-tolerant genetically modified (GM) zoysiagrass (Zoysia japonica Steud.). High frequencies of plant mutations were obtained about 18% from $M_1$ generation at the doses (10 to 50 Gy). We also found that some $M_1$ plants showed male-sterile plants using de-husked seeds and comparison of stainable pollen using $KI-I_2$ solution. Besides the effects of irradiation on pollination and fertilization cycle, various other mutations like dwarf, cold tolerance, increasing grains and mass were observed. Four of dwarfism plants were selected through comparison of morphological characteristic between control and mutants during 4 years. These results demonstrated that the gamma-irradiation on pollination and fertilization cycle is very effective to induce the various mutations, and the male-sterile mutants are useful for controlling transgene flow and developing of high quality turfgasses.

Beam Shaping and Speckle Reduction in Laser Projection Display Systems Using a Vibrating Diffractive Optical Element

  • The laser has been regarded as the potential illumination source for the next generation of projectors. However, currently the major issues in applying the laser as an illumination source for projectors are beam shaping and laser speckle. We present a compact solution for both issues by using a vibrating diffractive optical element (DOE). The DOE is designed and fabricated, and it successfully transforms the circular Gaussian laser beam to a low speckle contrast uniform rectangular pattern. Under a vibration frequency of 150 Hz and amplitude of $200{\mu}m$, the speckle contrast value is reduced from 67.67% to 13.78%, and the ANSI uniformity is improved from 24.36% to 85.54%. The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and potential of the proposed scheme, and the proposed method is a feasible approach to the miniaturization of laser projection display illumination systems.

연구개발성과에 영향을 미치는 지식재산요인 (The intellectual property factors affecting R&D outcome)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 논문, 특허 등 연구결과와 기술이전 등 연구성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 연구책임자의 지식재산 관점에서 도출하고, 외부 전문가의 협력(변리사)이 연구결과에 매개효과가 있는지를 실증분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 투입(연구책임자의 지식재산역량, 지식재산환경)-연구결과(특허, 논문 건수)-성과(기술이전 건수, 수익)의 구조를 적용하였으며, 구조방정식 모형을 통해 영향을 분석한다. 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구책임자와 외부전문가(변리사)의 협력이 없는 경우에는 연구책임자의 특허청구항 지식이 연구결과에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구책임자가 변리사와 협력을 하는 경우에는 연구책임자와 변리사간 협력이 특허 논문 등 연구결과에 완전매개효과가 있으며, 연구책임자의 기술사업화 의지가 연구결과에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 연구기관의 지식재산환경은 연구책임자의 지식재산역량에 직접적인 영향을 미치며, 연구성과(기술이전)에는 간접적인 효과를 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 우수한 연구개발 성과를 만들어 내기 위해서는 연구자의 역량 뿐만 아니라 외부 전문가의 협력이 필요함을 제기한다.

전문대학 교수의 산업체 연수 활성화를 위한 탐색적 연구 -협력적 실행연구를 중심으로- (An Exploratory Study on the Industry Training Activation for College's Professor -Based on Collaborative Action Research-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 전문대학 교수의 산업체 연수를 활성화 할 수 있는 방안을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 전문대학 유아교육과 교수가 협력적 실행연구를 활용하여 어떻게 산업체 연수를 진행하였는지에 대한 실제 사례를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 D시에 소재한 어린이집 만5세 학급에서 연구자가 산업체 연수기간 동안 학급 담당 교사와의 협력적 실행연구를 실시한 내용에 관한 것이다. 본 연구 진행을 위해 연구자와 교사는 협력적 실행연구 4단계를 거쳤고, 최종적으로 유아에게 적합한 기본운동기술이 포함된 구조화된 리듬동작 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 연구진행을 위해 진행된 4단계는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 실천단계 1에서 교사와 연구자는 문제해결을 위한 상호집단을 형성하였다. 두 번째, 실천단계 2에서 교사와 연구자는 상호 호혜적 관계에서 교사의 문제를 파악하였다. 세 번째, 실천단계 3에서 교사와 연구자는 문제해결에 필요한 문헌연구를 하였다. 네 번째, 실천단계 4에서는 문제해결을 하였다. 이러한 산업체 연수 실천 사례로 얻어진 시사점으로는 첫 번째, 산업체 연수를 통하여 연구자는 실제와 이론을 강화할 수 있는 기회가 주어졌다는 것이고 두 번째, 산업체 연수 기간 동안 담당 학급 교사의 전문성도 함께 증진될 수 있었다는 것이다. 이러한 시사점은 연구자이며 직업교육자이기도 한 전문대학 교수의 다양한 산업체 연수방안이 어떻게 모색되어야 하는지에 대한 단초를 제공해 준다는데 그 의미가 있다.

중환자실 입원환자 가족의 경험 (The Lived Experiences of Inpatients' Families in the Intensive Care Units)

  • The study was done by applying a phenomenological study, which is qualitative research methods, in order to understand the meaning of the lived experiences, to confirm and describe the meaning structure, and to prepare nursing interventive strategies centering around the meanings of the inpatients' families in the intensive care units. In the study, the family members were the main important nursing providers for in the inpatients' who were admitted in the neurosurgical intensive care unit in K-university hospital and who agreed to participate in the study after being given on explanation about the purpose of the study. The data were collected from the seven participants who had feelings of trust and intimacy favorable toward the researcher as they were families of patients who had been cared for by the researcher in the ICU where the researcher has been assigned. The data were collected from April to October, 1999. The participants described their experiences as candidly as possible. The researcher described closely the lived experiences with their own words and the observations of the researcher. A tape recorder was used with the consent of the participants to prevent nursing information and communication. The analysis of the data was made through the phenomenological analytic method suggested by Giorgi; as an unit of description, which include the participants' expressions and the researcher's observations, the analysis was used based on the data described from the expressions of the participants and the details of observations of the researcher. The conclusions of the study were as follows : The meanings of the lived experience of the inpatients' families in the ICU was confirmed by indepth interviews and observations including these of the participatants : (1) Psychological impact: confusion, impatience, surprise, insensibility; (2) Physical suffering: fatigue, discomfort, indigestion; (3) Psychological suffering: heartbreaking emotion, anxiety, annoyance, fear, compassion, grief; (4) Economical suffering: economical difficulties; (5) Psychological disagreement: escape from reality, personnel avoidance, grudge, powerlessness, carefulness, transposition of life-tract, abandonment, role-crisis, hope, lack of understanding, regret, feeling of ambivalence(progressive process, medical personnel interest); (6) Psychological dependency; self-reliance group support, family support, religious support; (7) Psychological acceptance; acquaintance, gratitude, reassurance; The study will offer better understanding of experiences therefore, based on the experiences confirmed by the study, it may facilitate more appropriate nursing interventive strategies for health maintenance and to prevent occurrence of possible problems with the inpatients' families in the ICUs.

디지털 시대의 융·복합 교육을 위한 영어영재 교사교육 방안 (Way of Training English Teacher's of Verbally Talented Children for convergence-based Education in the Digital Age)

  • 본 논문은 영재 영어교육을 담당하는 영어교사들이 갖추어야 할 영어교육과 영재교육의 지식과 그 구체적인 내용을 다루고 있다. 먼저, 지나치게 원어민 중심, 속진 중심 영어전용 교육 중심의 영어교육과 영어교사 교육에 내재된 문제점을 분석하고 그 문제점에 대한 해결책을 모색한다. 다음으로 영재교육이 가지고 있는 문제점을 분석하고 그 문제점에 대한 해결책을 모색한다. 먼저 이 두 분야의 문제점을 바탕으로 영재 영어교육에 대한 방향을 제시하고 그 방향에 따른 영재 영어교사 연수의 방향을 제시한다. 지나치게 영어 하나에 초점을 둔 현재의 영재 영어교육에 대한 비판을 바탕으로 이중언어 중심의 내용중심과 사고력을 배양할 수 있는 융 복합 기반의 표현중심 영재 영어교육을 해야 하고 그에 맞는 영재 영어교사교육을 해야 할 것이다.

지역사회리더 리더십역량의 중요-성취도 분석 (An Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) on the Leadership Competency of Rural Community Leaders)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify leadership competences of rural leaders and to analyze leadership competency of leaders. The study carried out by questionnaire and focus group interview on expert panels. To analyze leadership competency, the data was collected from 273 rural leaders by stratified random sampling. SPSSWIN/ver10 program was used for analyzing data with t-test and IPA method. The study suggests twenty low types of leadership competences which were information, vision, decision making, motivation communication, education residents, managing residents, loaming, flexibility, problem solving, presentation program management, customer orientation service knowledge, making relationship, creative idea, business understanding, brand development, conflict resolution negotiation, assessment, business management, coaching and feed back. Whereas leaders with middle school educational career required developing program management, maintaining achievement and benchmarking, leaders with high school were morel likely to develope self-learning, to benchmark their knowhow and brand development competency. Whereas leader with less low years experiences as leader have been considered as developing coaching/feedback brand development and program development, leaders with more five years as leader should consider developing benchmarking, resident education, and brand development. The study suggests that the extension agents on public should develop leadership program according to the competency differences of leaders.

우울 청소년의 건강경험 - Newman의 실무연구방법론을 근거로 - (Health Experience of Depressive Adolescents: Reflected from Newman's Praxis Methodology)

  • Purpose: Guided by Newman's theory of health as expanding consciousness, this study was done to explore the health experience of adolescents having depression. Methods: The researcher engaged in six to eight in-depth interviews with six adolescents. To begin the dialog, the researcher asked each participant to recount the first important memory he/ she had. All the narrative and diagram sharing between the researcher and participants were summarized according to recognized patterns and later elaborated in following interviews based on Newman's praxis methodology. Results: The significant individual pattern of early health experience was during the binding stage. At the turning point, individual patterns for participants revealed a personal journey of self-discovery and then emergence of reflecting behaviors. After the turning point, the participants changed as they evolved from the initial period of disruption and disorganization to organization at a higher level. The results suggest that adolescents who are depressive find new ways of relating to friends, family, healthcare providers, and the community by expanding their consciousness. Conclusion: Newman's praxis methodology is a good way of helping and studying adolescents with depression because it emphasizes participant-nurse/researcher partnership and pattern recognition as nursing practice.
