Scholarly communication plays a significant role in the development and dissemination of research outputs in library and information science (LIS). This study presents findings from a survey which examines the key attributes that characterize the publishing by Pakistani LIS scholars, i.e. academics and professionals, in national journals. A pilot-tested, electronic questionnaire was used to collect the data from the target population. 104 respondents (or 69.3% of target) provided feedback on areas such as number of articles published, number of citations, and the nature of any collaboration with other authors. The findings of this survey revealed that, among the various designated regions of Pakistan, the Punjab region was the most highly represented. In articles published in national journals, there was a clear preference among all respondents to collaborate with at least one other author. The citation metrics for LIS articles in national journals were relatively low (30.22%), which aligns with Scimago’s Journal and Country Rankings. The uptake of social scholarly networks mirrors international trends. Respondents were asked to score factors which could impact negatively on their ability to undertake research and/or publish the results. The study recommends that concerned stakeholders work together, as appropriate, to address concerns. In addition, it recommends that further research be undertaken to define patterns of Pakistani co-authorship in the social sciences.
Purpose: EAJBE is actively responding to changes in academic paradigms at domestic and abroad and is carrying out measures to maximize synergy effects between academic fields with the goal of being at the world level. This study aims to present a developmental strategy for EAJBE to grow into an academic journal with international public trust and prepare for future changes. Research design, data and methodology: This paper identifies the current status from the first issue of EAJBE to the present, and analyzes the overall development strategy and direction. Results: EAJBE continues to strengthen long-term investment for internationalization and activities to attract members of excellent scholars. Specifically, first of all, EAJBE aims to operate responsible academic journals, such as guaranteeing the long term of the president of the academic society, the chairman of the editorial board, and the editor-in-chief. EAJBE also focuses on expanding investment for internationalization from a long-term perspective. Finally, EAJBE actively strives for academic exchanges between scholars abroad and at home. Conclusions: EAJBE was indexed in the KCI of the Korea Research Foundation and currently operates a rigorous academic journal to be indexed in the SCOPUS. Already, EAJBE is doing its best to become a successful model for Korean academic journals. EAJBE's path forward will be the first one that no academic society has ever reached as the world's top academic journal.

Bronchial asthma is one of the most common chronic diseases globally and currently affects approximately 300 million people worldwide. As per scientific data, approximately 10-12% of adults; and 15% of children are affected by the disease. The increasing global prevalence of the disease imposes a high health care costs into its mechanisms and treatment. Unani system of medicine (USM) is a well known traditional therapy for number of diseases since ancient times. Time has proved that USM has a special role in treatment of chronic diseases, due its special Usooleillaj (Line of treatment). Dhiq al-Nafas (bronchial asthma) is also considered as a chronic disease. Since ancient times, the disease was cured by number of single as well as compound formulations by renowned Unani scholars. This review provides a comprehensive summary of medicinal plant throughout the world, with reference to renowned Unani scholars and physicians for treatment of Dhiq al-Nafas. A number of Unani single and compound drugs, highly efficacious and safe drugs are available for the asthma. The data were taken from classical literature of USM, Modern reference books & electronic journals. The recent information was collected from different authentic search engines. This study investigates the impact of educational management on the performance of scholars in the field of nano/micro-level composites. The objective is to understand how effective management strategies can enhance the academic achievements and research outcomes of students specializing in this advanced area of materials science. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, data was collected from various educational institutions renowned for their programs in nano/micro-level composites. Our results indicate that tailored educational management practices significantly improve student performance. Key strategies identified include personalized mentorship programs, interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities, and access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. Institutions that implemented these practices observed a marked increase in the quality and quantity of research outputs, higher student satisfaction rates, and improved post-graduation employment prospects in relevant industries. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of continuous professional development for educators to stay abreast of the latest advancements in nano/micro-level composites. By fostering an environment of innovation and support, educational management can play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of researchers and professionals in this cutting-edge field. These findings underscore the necessity of strategic educational management in optimizing the academic and professional trajectories of scholars in nano/micro-level composites, ultimately contributing to advancements in technology and industry applications.
The objectives of this study are 1) examining the relationship between purchase intention and purchase satisfaction and 2) identifying the antecedents of purchase satisfaction of private brand apparel. For testing the research model constructed with relevant perceived variables of pre-purchase and post-purchase, survey methods were adopted two times. The hypotheses of the positive relationship between pre-purchase and post-purchase variables are fully supported. The other hypotheses are supported, except the hypotheses of the effects of perceived risk on perceived value in both pre-purchase and post-purchase situation.
The present study examines the relationship among relationship quality, organizational commitment, and prosocial behavior. In this study, relationship quality is defined as relationship quality between manager and employee (RQME) and relationship quality between organization and employee (RQOE). The authors also investigate the mediating roles of RQOE and organizational commitment in the conceptual research model. Findings indicate that RQME has a positive and direct effect on RQOE, organizational commitment, and prosocial behavior. The results also show that both RQOE and organizational commitment have a mediating role in the relationship between RQME and prosocial behavior of employees. Finally, the authors found that RQOE influences prosocial behavior through organizational commitment.
This paper will discuss three different ways of framing relationships between identity and built forms mainly through the theoretical frame works of David Harvey, Christine M. Boyer, Jane M. Jacobs, Doreen Massey, Paul Rabinow, and Michel Foucault. From these scholars, this paper will argue the relationships between identity and built forms are categorized as such: "Becoming", "Politics of Difference", and "Construction of Self". Besides these three approaches of framing identity and built forms, relevant ideas will be drawn from the work of other scholars in so far as their theoretical positions relate and support these three key frameworks. To approach the critical points of each debate, these three categories are further analyzed by juxtaposing the epistemological positions between them. Through the comparisons, this paper illustrates the interrelationships and interdependence of these three categories whose discursive power gains rapid popularity in Western scholarships. By incorporating the three ways to view the relationship between built form and the identity of social groups, drawn is a suggestion for a broader imagining of new spatial identity.
Armillary sphere, generally known as, not only astronomical instrument for observing astronomical phenomena but also symbolizes the royal authority and royal political ideology which is based on Confucianism. We analyzed and measured the remnants of armillary spheres which were made by Toegye Lee Hwang, Uam Song Si-Yeol and Goedam Bae Sang-Yeol who were well-reputed Confucian scholars in Joseon Dynasty, and have been executed the restorations of Toegye Lee Hwang and Song Si-Yeols armillary sphere based on the drawings which were drawn as the original form by analysis and measurement of its remnants.
