동적 재구성이 가능한 데이터 지향적인 양방향 통합 리모컨의 소프트웨어 프레임워크 (Software Framework of Reconfigurable Data-oriented and Bi-directional Universal Remote Controller)

  • 대부분의 기존 통합 리모컨은 동일한 제조회사의 특정 제품군만을 제어할 수 있다. 또한, 시그널 기반의 단방향 통신을 이용하므로 가전기기의 상태를 모니터링 할 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 Wireless Personal Area Network 상에서 가전기기의 상태를 관찰할 수 있는 동적 재구성이 가능한 양방향 통합 리모컨의 소프트웨어 프레임워크를 제안한다. 동적 재구성이 가능한 통합 리모컨은 제어 대상인 가전기기의 프로필에 따라 제어를 위한 GUI를 동적으로 생성함으로써 해당 가전기기를 제어할 수 있도록 재구성할 수 있다. 즉, 하나의 통합 리모컨을 통해 프로필을 가진 모든 가전기기를 제어하고 모니터링 할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we propose a remote control system which is used by internet network system in the small water booster supply. So far, TMTC(Tele Metering Tele Control) has been used to control and monitor small water booster pump. But it is possible and easy to control and observe local booster panel with the rapid development of internet, This new system is to provide operators and managers with sufficient information and control in order to implement the operation in an efficient and economical way. This system consists of three parts that are controller, netpump server and netview client. Controller has a dual architecture. The motive for installing controller is the continuous production and supply of drinking water.

  • This paper deals with the real-time monitoring and control system using PC, PDA(Win CE embedded device) and PCS(based BREW platform). The camera attached to the server captures the moving target, and the captured frame of color image is encoded in JPEG for image compression at the server. The client(PC, PDA, PCS) receives the image data from the remote server and the received image is decoded from decompression. We use the TCP/IP protocol to send the image frames. The client can control the position of the camera by sending the control command to the server. Two DC servo motors for the camera are controlled in any directions, up-down and left-right, by the controller which is communicating with the server via the serial communication to get the control command. In this way, on the client we can monitor the moving images at the server and also control the position of the camera.

  • 기존 웹 기반인 시스템 관리 소프트웨어 솔루션들은 시간적, 공간적 제약을 갖는다. 그리고 오류 메시지에 대한 불확실한 통보와 실시간 지원요구 및 긴급조치가 어렵다는 문제점들을 갖는다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해서 모바일 통신기기를 이용하여 원격시스템을 관리 및 모니터링하고 즉각적으로 원격지의 시스템을 제어할 수 있는 무선 원격제어 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 구현된 무선 원격제어 시스템은 이러한 문제의 해결뿐만 아니라 보안의 문제도 갖고 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는, 무선 원격제어 시스템을 위한 보안 문제에 초점을 맞추어 진행하였으며, 설계한 보안기능은 사용자에 대한 모바일장비 사용자 인증과 대상 시스템 접근제어 기능을 갖도록 하였다. 이러한 보안 기능에 대한 안전성 검증을 위하여 각 단계에 대한 모든 가능한 상태를 표현할 수 있는 CPN(Coloured Petri Nets)을 도입하였다. 그리고 본 논문에서는 CPN 기반의 상태 불변식으로 안전성을 검증하였다. 제안한 보안 기능의 CPN 표현과 분석방법은 차후에 다른 서비스 모델의 설계와 검증에 유용한 방법이 될 수 있다.

  • This paper aims at developing remote control system to control and monitor distributed various devices such as UPS or photovoltaic inverter system through internet. TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) and photovoltaic inverter system operated in a row are adopted for network management protocol and applied device, respectively. For controlling and monitoring distributed devices in real-time, java-environment software is constructed. Also, HelloDevice, general-use interface controller between network device and applied device is proposed. Finally, serial communication such as RS-232C is used between controller and applied device.

  • On-Board Diagnostic(OBD) systems are in most cars and light trucks on the load today. During the 1970's and early 1980's manufacturers started using electronic means to control engine functions and diagnose engine problems. The CARB's diagnostic requirements to meet EPA emission standards have been designated as OBD with a goal of monitoring all of the emissions-related components, as well as the chassis, body, accessory devices and the diagnostic control network of the vehicle for proper operation. In this paper, we present a remote measurement system for the wireless monitoring of diagnosis signal and sensors output signals of ECU adopted KWP2000, united the OBD communication protocol, on OBD-compliant vehicle using the wirless communication technique of Bluetooth. In order to measure the ECU signals, the interface circuit is designed to communicate ECU and designed terminal wirelessly according to the ISO, SAE regulation of communication protocol standard. A microprocessor S3C3410X is used for communicating ECU signals. The embedded system's software is programmed to measure the ECU signals using the ARM compiler and ANCI C based on MicroC/OS kernel to communicate between bluetooth modules using bluetooth stack. The diagnostic system is developed using Visual C++ MFC and protocol stack of bluetooth for Windows environment. The self-diagnosis and sensor output signals of ECU is able to monitor using PC with bluetooth board connected in serial port of PC. The algorithms for measuring the ECU sensor output and self-diagnostic signals are verified to monitor ECU state. At the same time, the information to fix the vehicle's problem can be shown on the developed monitoring software. The possibility for remote measurement of self-diagnosis and sensor signals of ECU adopted KWP2000 in embedded system verified through the developed systems and algorithms.

  • Current substation SCADA system has only one control center where two or three operaters monitor and control more than 40 substations spreaded far and wide. The scope of this system is too wide to cope with the concurrent multiple accidents in electric network by the typhoon and large mow. This paper describes the method to organize the optimal structure of substation SCADA system using remote console and small scale control center.

  • In this paper, a new remote terminal unit(hereafter RTU) is proposed to manage a wide range of applications and a variety of sensors (eg, pressure, water quality, temperature and humidity sensors, the amount of pollutants, $CO_2$, etc.) to monitor and control the facility such as water treatment plant, intake and effluent pumping station, water tank and distribution network. Fault status of local sensor devices and network are alerted by using the embedded fault handling capabilities of the RTU in the system and also sent to the fault handling server, by which fault can be easily monitored to users. The developed system was applied to one of K-water branch offices in Geoje city and improved its reliability and stability for controlling and monitoring water facility.

  • In the previous study, a polishing robot system was developed to automate the polishing process and to cope with the shortage of skilled workers. This polishing robot system has several advantages: reduced time for setting polishing work, decreased labor costs, effective operation, continuous polishing work without an operator, improved machine accuracy, and the ability to polish a free curved surface die. However, still the problem remains that a worker must stay to monitor the polishing process in the poor working conditions for a long time. Nowadays some advanced manufacturing companies need to find a way to check the performance of their production equipments and plants from remote sites. Thus, this study constructed the communication network and developed the monitoring programs (a servo program and a client program) to operate the polishing robot from remote sites. Using these programs, workers are able to monitor and control the polishing robot on the web page, in any place where internet service is possible. To guarantee a stable operation in spite of a variable computer operating environment, the monitoring system is implemented in Java. The experimental results showed that the developed monitoring programs provided a stable communication.
