We report the influence of the threshold voltage and mobility fluctuation in TFT on current mode digital circuit performance. We found that the threshold voltage showed more serious circuit malfunction. We studied new circuit configuration for improvement.

A new diterpene glycoside, $C_{26}H_{44}O_{8}{\cdot}H_{2}O, $ m.p. <$225-6^{\circ}, [{\alpha}]_D^{20}=-48^{\circ}$ (0.1% in EtOH) was isolated from methylalcohol extract of Siegesbeckia pubescens $M_{AKINO}$ which has been used as a folk remedy for hypertensive in Korea and its chemical structure was established as (III).

E. creticum has been used in folk medicine in Jordan as a remedy for scorpion stings in the rural areas and as a hypoglycemic agent. The hypoglycemic activity of an aquous decoction of plant arial parts of E. creticum was tested in normoglycemic and streptozocin-hyperglycemic rats. Results indicate that those extract caused significant reductions in blood glucose concentration when given orally.

Recently, the KFDA(Korea Food & Drug Administration) has announced that the Malachite Green was found from imported fishes and eels. Malachite Green is used for remedy of diseased fishes. The administration has a plan to intensify monitoring system for distribution of fishes. It is necessary to operate the improved warning system for public health.

Objectives : The author studied on criterions and concepts of the four seasons, and also examined about outbreak, rise and decline, remedy and prescription of diseases. Methods : We researched that increase and decrease of vigor and up and down of Yin and Yang in human body are controled by sunlight through the literature. Results : The relationship between the human's five viscera and four seasons has the homeostasis as a result of the compatibility and rivalry process. Between of the human's five viscera and four seasons, the spleen plays important role of four seasons. The reason is that the liver, the heart, the lungs and the kidneys manages the 72 days in spring, summer, autumn and winter, repectively. However, the spleen arranges and regulates the liver, the heart, the lungs and the kidneys through the 18days of each season's ending, respectively. These are the basis of Lee Dong Won's(李東垣) 'The Spleen Strength Theory(補脾論). In four seasons, We make prescription harmonized with the energy such as rising in spring, floating in summer, astriction in autumn, preservation in winter. Conclusions : These results suggest that the criterion and the conception of the four seasons may be important role to remedy for diseases and to prescribe and to use of medicine.

Objective : This study was designed in order to support the standpoint that dementia will be treated better by remedy for heart rather than for brain, liver and kidney in Korean Medicine. Methods : We investigated which of five viscera make dementia from original texts about it. Then, 15 aged men living alone in Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do were treated for dementia by herb remedies, acupuncture and moxa. After it, we verified through method, for example, SMMSE-DS, CDT, and etc. Results : We had results that the main viscera causing dementia is heart, and heart is related with gall bladder, spleen, and kidney according to philological method. Clinical testing in this viewpoint showed satisfactory effects on the diseases. Conclusion : From the results, we proved it could be a new way of remedy for dementia that main the viscera causing dementia is heart in Korean Medicine.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate an appropriate instructional model in order to remedy students' misconception. As hypotheses of this study, three instructional models, cognitive conflicting, hypothesis testing, and learning cycle models, on biological 'osmosis' concept were tested in 176 high school students. Results of the present study are as follows: 1. All groups used one of three instructional models showed a statistically significant improvement in conceptual change on the 'osmosis' concept between before and after the instruction. In addition, the three hypothesized instructional models were more effective in conceptual change than a traditional expository instruction. 2. There was a statistically significant difference among three experimental groups. Cognitive conflicting model and hypothesis testing model was more effective than learning cycle models. 3. An interviewing after instruction showed that students who had scientific concept on the 'osmosis' through the instruction could effectively apply the concept to other context more than students who had no scientific concept through instruction. The present study indicated that instructional model play an important role on students' conceptual change in science classroom. According to the result of this study, the instruction emphasizing students' active participation in class and scientific reasoning process is more appropriate to remedy misconception that the instruction using students' passive participation in class and expository teaching procedure. This study also indicated that students' concept acquired through instruction is one of important factors to apply it to other context.
