A Study on the Model for Determining Cultivation Quantities of the Abalone (전복 양성물량 결정모형에 관한 연구)

  • Abalone aquacultural industry has been growing rapidly in a short period of time, however, there has been just a few researches related to the forecast of the supply, demand and price. Even the models developed by these researches have problems of low compatibility and reliability. To resolve these problem, a biological supply model needs to be developed that maintains time difference and linkage among the quantity of juvenile abalone into the plots, quantity of cultivation, quantity of shipment, and at the same time juvenile abalone is transplanted into the plot, matured and shipped by the expected market price. This study focus on the development of the model for determining quantity of the abalone cultivation, which is the core part of the entire abalone demand and supply model. Key factors that affect cultivation quantity were identified and verified the causal relationship among these variables and cultivation quantity. It turned out that the quantity of juvenile abalone transplanted and the relative price(the abalone price of the place of produce divided by the brown seaweed price) have a great influence on the cultivation quantity. Also, the similarity of the variation for the cultivation quantity of the observed value and the forecasted value implies that the model developed in this study has a high compatibility.

Scotopic Pupil Size in Myopes (근시안에서 암순응상태의 동공크기)

  • Purpose: This research was performed to measure and analyze scotopic pupil size in myopes and to figure out the factors that influence it. Methods: The pupil size of 191 healthy myopic subjects were measured with the pupillometer (Colvard pupillometer, OASIS medical, USA) in scotopic and analyzed with the age, corneal size, spherical equivalent refractive error, corneal curvature. In addition, it was compared with the measurements of intra-examiner and inter-examiner to verify reproducibility of pupillometer. Results: The mean (${\pm}$SD) scotopic pupil size was $6.64{\pm}0.68$ mm (range, 5.00~8.00 mm), the lower age and the larger corneal size, The bigger the pupil size. The lower spherical equivalent refractive error and steepper corneal curvature tends to be smaller. The reproducibility of intra-examiner and inter-examiner in pupillometer showed the reliability highly (Guttman splithalf point > 0.91). Conclusions: The pupil size associated with age, corneal size, spherical equivalent refractive error and corneal curvature in scotopic condition. It can refer to prevent inconvenience that may occur RGP contact lenses, cataract surgery and refractive surgery.

  • A 3 dimensional numerical analysis for shield TBM tunnel should take into account various characteristics of the shield TBM excavation, such as gap, tail void, segment installation, and backfill injection. However, analysis method considering excavation characteristics are generally mixed with various method, resulting in concern of consistency and reliability degradation of the analytical results. In this paper, a parametric study is carried out by using actually measured ground settlement data on various methods that can be used for 3 dimensional numerical analysis of shield TBM tunneling. As a result, we have analyzed and arranged an analytical method to predict similarly the behavior of ground settlement and tunnel face pressure at the design stage. Skin plate pressure, backfill pressure and soil model have been identified as the most significant influences on the ground settlement. The grout pressure model is considered to be applicable when there is no volume loss information on the excavated ground, such as seabed tunnels, or when it is important to identify the behavior around a tunnel, such as surface settlement as well as face pressure. And it is considered that designers can use these guidelines as a base material to perform a reasonable 3 dimensional numerical analysis that reflects the ground conditions and the features of the shield TBM tunneling.

Influence of Value Consciousness on Purchase Behavior and Repurchase Intention for Personal Beauty Devices among Women in Self-Beauty Care (셀프 뷰티족 여성의 가치의식이 개인용 뷰티디바이스의 구매행동 및 재구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study attempted to investigate the value consciousness of purchasing behavior and purchasing intentions of personal beauty devices for women undergoing self-behavioral therapy. To this end, a survey was conducted, and a total of 342 copies of data were analyzed. As a result, In terms of the value consciousness, purchase behavior, and repurchase intention of the individual's personal beauty device, the value consciousness was the most materialistic, and the purchase behavior was the most economical. The overall repurchase intention was M=3.73 and SD=0.80. In correlations among value consciousness, purchase behavior and repurchase intention, positive correlations were confirmed (p<0.01). In terms of the influence of value consciousness on purchase behavior (aesthetics, conformity, effectiveness), 'aesthetic-pursuit factor' was the largest. In the effects of value consciousness on the economic aspect of purchase behavior, 'materialistic factor' was the highest. Lastly, in the influence of value consciousness on reliability, 'self-esteem factor' revealed the greatest effect. Furthermore, self-esteem factors had the biggest influence on repurchase intention. The above results confirmed that value consciousness of women in self-beauty care have a positive influence on their purchase behavior and repurchase intention for personal beauty devices. It is anticipated that they would be available as important marketing data in beauty device market.

The Effects of Environmentally-friendly Agricultural Product Brand Value on Brand Satisfaction, Trust and Loyalty (친환경 브랜드 농산물 상품의 브랜드 가치 요인이 브랜드 만족, 신뢰, 충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose - The objectives of this study are described as following. First, the study will establish the concept of Brand Values of Environmentally-friendly agricultural product through theoretical discussion. Second, it shows the effects of Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products brand value on Brand Satisfaction, Brand Trust and Brand Loyalty by empirical investigation. Third, in order to provide the methodology of brand development, literature regarding and questionnaire survey were used such as Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products Brand Value, Brand Satisfaction, Brand Trust and Brand Loyalty. Based up on the results, the research estimates consumers' relative priorities of Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products Brand Value factors in purchase. This research also suggests the consumer oriented new brand development and the progressive direction for the successful launching of Korean Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products Brand. Research design, data, and methodology - Because the relative literatures reviewed regarding not only each factor but also the relationships among them, Brand Value was categorized into 4 dimensions: Emotional, Social, Functional, and Epistemic Value. Then, Brand Loyalty was added as an outcome variable and Brand Satisfaction, Brand Trust were also added as mediators. The proposed research model and 13 hypotheses were created and 23 measurement items were developed. A face-to-face questionnaire survey with items concerning the Brand Value of Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products is conducted to housewives in metropolitan area in May 2016. Respondent answered about Brand Value, Brand Satisfaction, Brand Trust and Brand Loyalty in preferred Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products. 333 copies of the questionnaire were collected and analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20.0 to determine the reliability and validity of the measurements. Results - From the confirmatory factor analysis and a structural equation modeling, the outcomes of these studies were as follows; (1) Three Brand value dimensions, i.e. Emotional Value, Social Value, and Epistemic Value had a significant and positive impact on Brand Satisfaction, but Functional Value did not. (2) Social Value also had an impact on Brand Trust, (3) Brand Satisfaction significantly affected Brand Trust, and Brand Trust influenced on Brand Loyalty, and (4) Brand Satisfaction were perfectly effective in mediation between Emotional Value, Epistemic Value and Brand Trust, and it also partially mediated between Social Value and Brand Trust. Conclusions - According to the result of consumer research on Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Product brand, 3 dimensions of brand value affected brand satisfaction, and especially Social Value was a significant positive dimension. So, marketers should concern about value proposition of Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Product to consumers by using premium package design, store identity, and distinctive product. Consumers wanted to get self-esteem, self-regard, and high social position by purchasing it. This study has academic and practical significance, so the findings can be applied to a wide range of brand management strategies. However, there are some limitations; 1) limitation about development of new brand value dimensions, 2) limitation about gender in the area of respondents. Future research should be done with wide range of respondents.

Relationship between Parental Stress and Leisure Constrains of Parents who have Children with Disabilities (장애아동 부모의 양육스트레스와 여가제약 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how parental stress coming from breeding children with disabilities affected their leisure constraints. The participants of this study were parents with mentally retarded children who were involved in physical activities in 6 places; 4 special schools for the children in Seoul and Kyunggi province, a physical education class in a university, a physical education class with a university and a private physical education class. We surveyed the parents selected through purposive sampling and data from total 355 participants involved in the survey were analysed. For this, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis were used. The outcome of this study showed that there was not meaningful difference in breeding stress depending on the types of the disabilities. However the result presented meaningful difference in stress from children adaptation according to the degree of the disabilities. Moreover, the difference were found in some factors such as children's sex and family income. As a result, the finding indicated that parental stress had an effect on the limitation of parents' leisure ability.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that customers perceive as important relationship investment in the relationship efforts provided by retailers for customer relationship purposes and to explain the mediating role of relationship quality such as trust, relationship commitment in the relationship perceived relationship investment and relationship performance. For this study, 270 respondents were surveyed and data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20.0 statistical package. Statistical analysis tools, such as SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20.0 were utilized for ensuring the validity and the reliability, whereas the SEM method was used for testing the research hypothesis. The results of study are as follows. Financial efforts and structural efforts have affected perceived relationship investment. Perceived relationship investment affected trust and relationship commitment but not loyalty. Trust influenced relationship commitment and loyalty whereas relationship commitment did not affect loyalty. Therefore, it is important for retail marketing managers to provide tangible rewards and special benefits at all times in order to recognize that they are doing the best service efforts for customer relations. In order to secure long-term and stable profits by establishing a relationship with them, the service marketing strategies should be promoted to enhance the relationship quality by raising the level of trust.

A Study on the factors of SNS information influencing consumers' purchasing intention: focusing on Chinese Weibo (SNS 정보 요인이 소비자 구매의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 : 중국 웨이보를 중심으로)

  • The SNS website can take full advantage of the characteristics of users to conduct e-commerce. The e-commerce website's organizing ability will be greatly strengthened by SNS and creates greater value for consumers. This article examined the Chinese largest SNS (Weibo) users as research objects, and combined the development status of SNS in China. This article focuses on the influence to consumer's purchase intention in three aspects: number of comments, consumer involvement level, and consumer appealing method and examines how the interaction of the number of comments and consumer appealing method affects the purchase intention. An investigation was conducted on 400 users of SNS and using valid questionnaires to perform reliability analysis, validity analysis, independent sample t-test, and double factor variance analysis using SPSS21. The research results indicated that the number of comments and rational appealing method had significant effect on the purchase intention. The mediating or controlling the purchase involvement level will disturb the influence of the number of comments but will have no effect on the information appealing method.

A Study on the Korea Smart City Certification Index and Demonstration Authentication (국내 스마트시티 인증 지표 및 시범 인증에 관한 연구)

  • The government has recognized the importance of smart city indicators and prepared the legal grounds for the certification of smart cities in the recently revised "Act on Smart City Development and Industrial Promotion." This study derived smart city indicators adequate for the domestic conditions and compatible with the overseas trends by examining and complementing the indicators through an AHP analysis based on consultations and interviews (surveys) with experts and local government officials, who are actually carrying out related projects. In addition, the adequacy and reliability of the indicators were confirmed by verifying and certifying the Korean local governments' smart city plans through demand surveys on a trial basis. This study is meaningful in that it systematically studies the smart city indicators that have gained in importance and reviews their application. The findings of this study can be used as a basis for implementing a smart cities certification system in the future. Recently, the Special Committee on Smart Cities was established under the Committee for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This committee is composed of civilian members and is working with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, the Ministry of Science and ICT, etc., to promote the creation of smart cities. It is expected that smart city indicators that include the levels of both domestic and overseas smart cities will boost the active spread of such cities in Korea.

Survey on the Actual Condition and the Improvement Factors of Foreign Workers at the Construction Site. (건설현장 외국인근로 실태조사 및 개선요소 도출)

  • Companies that have suffered serious labor shortages are relocating their factories abroad where they can solve this problem by increasing the employment of foreign workers. Construction sites also employ foreign workers to supplement the scarce manpower, and the demand for foreign workers has been gradually increasing over time. Recently, based on discussions on whether or not to introduce foreign workers, the policy on the input of foreign workers into domestic construction sites has been shifted to exploring the actual input conditions and efficient management methods. In this study, we investigated the current status and input situation of foreign workers at the construction sites of the target area, analyzed the problems they posed from the manager's viewpoint, and derived a method of improving the utilization of foreign workers at construction sites. In order to proceed with this study, we surveyed the actual situation of the construction sites, which consisted mainly of foreign workers and domestic workers (managers), by investigating the construction sites, and conducted 1: 1 interviews to ensure the reliability of the survey. The data obtained from the survey were analyzed using the SPSS analysis program, and the response rate was analyzed for each item. As a result, various problems, such as institutional problems, communication problems, and quality deterioration due to malfunction, appeared. Therefore, this study derives an improvement plan for the efficient utilization of foreign workers by improving the institutional level related to their language education, wages and employment.
