간호사의 업무 강도, 대인관계 갈등과 소진의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 조절 및 매개 효과 (Moderating and Mediating Effects of Resilience in the Relationship between Work Intensity, Interpersonal Conflict and Burnout among Nurses)

  • Purpose: For this study the moderating and mediating effects of resilience on the relationships between work intensity, conflicts in interpersonal relationship and nurses' burnout were investigated. Methods: In this descriptive research 227 nurses who consented to participate in the study were surveyed. The tool included nurses' objective work intensity, subjective work intensity, conflicts in interpersonal relationships, resilience, and burnout. Data were collected from nurses in general hospitals in D city from July to August 2017. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 program. Results: Participants' burnout showed a statistically significant difference according to age, marital status, total clinical experience, position, work pattern, frequency of night shifts, work department, and salary. Participants' burnout was significantly positively correlated with subjective work intensity and conflicts in interpersonal relationships, and significantly negatively correlated with resilience. Resilience moderated the relationship between participants' subjective work intensity and burnout, and mediated the relationship between conflicts in interpersonal relationships and burnout. Conclusion: Resilience had a moderating effect on the relationship between subjective work intensity and burnout, and a mediating effect on the relationship between conflicts in interpersonal relationships and burnout. Therefore, further efforts and diverse intervention measures are required to enhance resilience and reduce work intensity and conflicts in interpersonal relationships in order to prevent burnout in nurses.

청소년이 인지하는 가족내 갈등과 건강보호행동으로서의 자아개념, 학교적응간의 인과관계분석 (The Causal Relationship of Adolescent's Family Conflicts, Self-concept, and School Adjustment as Health Protection Behavior)

  • Objectives: The school adjustment problems of the adolescence groups become more aggravated and are on the increase. The objective of this study is to identify the causal relationship of intra-family conflicts, self-concept and school adjustment as health protection behavior. Methods: The study setting is the adolescence groups. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaires from the middle and high school students in Seoul. The study sample consisted of 268 students. Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) analysis was conducted to find the causal relationship of intra-family conflicts, self-concept and school adjustment. Results: This study shows that firstly, the total effects of intra-family conflicts have a negative effect on self-concept(path coefficients=-0.080) and school adjustment(path coefficients=-0.107). And the self-concept factor as an intervening variable are affecting positively on school adjustment(path coefficients=0.411). Secondly, the economic conflicts, personaliy conflicts and social activity conflicts of father and mother among various family conflicts are more highly affecting on self-concept and school adjustment(p<0.01) Conclusions: These results imply that first, communication between parents and students is essential to solve the problems of school adjustment. Especially economic conflicts should be solved to improve the self-concept and school adjustment. second, a variety of programs are available for schools to employ in an effort to provide interventions for students who demonstrate school adjustment. Finally, it is necessary for family, school and all the society members to comprehensively cooperate to solve family conflicts and school adjustment.

중국 기업 근로자들의 고용불안정이 조직몰입과 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 갈등의 매개효과 (The Impact of Employment Insecurity on Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention in Chinese Enterprises Workers: The Focusing on Mediation Effect of Organization Conflict)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of employment insecurity on organizational commitment and turnover intention, and mediating roles of conflict in Chinese enterprise workers. We examined the theoretical background and conducted an empirical study. The statistical analysis results revealed the following. First, employment insecurity has significant negative effects on organizational commitment and positive effects on turnover intention. Second, employment insecurity has significant positive effects on task and relationship conflicts. Third, task and relationship conflicts have positive significant effects on turnover intention. Fourth, intragroup conflicts (task and relationship conflicts) have partial mediating effects between employment insecurity and organizational commitment, and turnover intention, but task conflicts have no mediating effects between employment insecurity and organizational commitment. On the basis of the research findings, this paper discusses the theoretical and empirical implications of the research, and provides directions for future research.

수학적 토론에서 의사소통적 갈등과 인지 갈등의 관계 (The Relationship between Cognitive Conflicts and Commognitive Conflicts in Mathematical Discussion)

  • 본 연구에서는 의사소통적 갈등과 인지 갈등의 관계를 확인하기 위해 과학영재학교 3학년 미적분학II 수업시간에 이루어진 수학적 토론 및 개별 면담 사례를 분석하였다. 교실에서 수학적 토론은 접촉평면에 관하여 인지 갈등을 보이는 한 학생의 질문에서 시작되었다. 분석 결과 토론 과정에서 사회적으로 구성된 지식을 관습화하여 사용함으로서 의사소통적 갈등이 해소되고 있지만 인지 갈등은 완전히 해소되지 않고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 토론을 촉발한 학생의 인지 갈등의 원인이 불완전한 유추의 사용에서 비롯되었음을 확인하였으며, 유추 활동에 대한 반성적 담론의 조성이 인지 갈등을 극복하는 학습 기회가 된다는 것을 발견하였다. 본 연구를 통해 인지 갈등이 의사소통적 갈등의 출현을 촉발할 수 있지만, 의사소통적 갈등의 해소가 인지 갈등의 해소를 함의하지는 않는다는 것을 알 수 있다.

노부모와 성인자녀간의 의사소통 유형과 갈등에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Relationship between Communication Patterns and Conflict between Old Parents and Adult Children)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between communication pattern and conflict between old parents and their adult children. For this purose, 380 adult children are surveyed therefore the answers of survey are described by adult children only. The number of old parents turn to be 230 old fathers and 301 old mothers respectively, there numbers have included the case both parents are alive. The data were analysed several method with SPSS and the methods used for the analysis are Factor analysis, one way ANOVA, Scheffe-Test, Pearson's Correlation, Multple Regression. The results of this study are summarizd as follows ; 1) Old parents's communication patterns differ each other and under many variables. 2) In the conflicts between old parents and adult children differ each other and under many variables, too. 3) The relationship between communication patterens and conflict between old parent and adult children turn to be as follows : Two communication styles ie, the autoritarian style and insincere style increse conflicts. Frendly style have negatve affect to conflicts and decreses the conflicts. Sacrifice style is turn to have slightly affect the conflict.

가정전문간호사의 역할갈등 체험에 관한 현상학적 연구 (The Lived Experience of Home Health Nurses' Role Conflicts: A Phenomenology Study)

  • Purpose: To explore the lived experience of home health nurses' role conflicts and the associated meaning of those as perceived by the home health nurses. Methods: This qualitative study was conducted between November 2021 and January 2022 among five home health nurses who were recruited. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and inductively analyzed using Colaizzi's descriptive phenomenological inquiry. Results: The participants' lived experience of role conflicts were grouped into four main categories, namely role conflicts due to shortage of qualified home health nurses, role conflicts exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, interpersonal relationship conflicts, and conflicts with existing systems and their solutions. Conclusion: Knowledge developed from the experiences of the participants indicated various role conflicts, both interpersonal and systematical, while they recognized the significance of their role as the home health nurses. In the future, support systems should be established at the organizational and systematical levels to ensure a better workforce environment for home health nurses.

연구개발 팀에서 팀 내 갈등 간의 관계와 갈등이 몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Relationship among Different Types of Intra-team Conflict and Their Effects on Commitment in R&D Teams)

  • 팀은 조직이 추구하는 목표를 달성하는데 있어서 매우 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 팀의 경쟁력은 팀 구성원들 간의 끊임없는 상호작용에 의해 결정되므로 팀 구성원들이 함께 공유하는 긍정적이고 감정적인 태도를 나타내는 팀 몰입이라는 공동의 목표를 함께 추구하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 하지만 끊임없는 팀 구성원간의 상호작용은 갈등을 야기한다. 팀 구성원 간의 갈등이 팀의 성과에 미치는 영향은 긍정적인 면과 부정적인 면이 함께 존재하지만 관계, 과업, 과정 갈등이 팀 몰입에 미치는 영향에 대해서는 많은 연구가 되어 있지 않은 상황이다. 본 연구는 세 가지 종류의 갈등이 어떤 관계를 가지고 있는지는 13개 기업의 232개 연구개발 팀으로부터 모은 자료를 분석하였다. 결과는 관계갈등은 팀 몰입에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 반면 과업갈등과 과정갈등은 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 보이지 않았다. 세 갈등 간의 관계를 살펴보면 과정갈등은 과업갈등과 관계갈등에 정(+)의 영향을, 그리고 과업갈등은 관계갈등에 정(+)의 영향을 주고 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 향후 연구과제를 제시한다.

간호사의 상대적 권력과 대인갈등 (A Study on the Relationship between Nurses Relative Power and Interpersonal Conflicts)

  • This study aims at empirically clarifying the relationship between power and the interpersonal conflict, including nurses' understanding of their relative power, the causes of interpersonal conflicts with the nurses, and strategies to resolve conflicts, in order to understand how nurses' relative power affect their conflicts. For the empirical survey, the population was defined as all the nurses working at a medical organization in Seoul, Korea. 1083 nurses were selected as the sample for the questionnaire survey and statistical analyses. For the sampling, 32 medical organizations were selected by a stratified random method and sub-samples were arbitrarily drawn from each organization to obtain the final sample of 1083 nurses who responded to the questionnaire designed by the reseacher. According to the result of the study, most nurses experience conflict more than once a month, and 70.4% of the respondents answered that interpersonal conflicts were directly or indirectly caused by power relations. which indicates that they perceive power relations as the main cause of interpersonal conflicts. Nurses experienced the most conflicts with interns and residents(29.7%), then patients and their families(24.3%), higher-positioned nurses(12.3%), nurse colleagues(7.7%), lower-positioned nurses(6.5%), and staff doctors(5.1%). If we classify these into three groups. the frequency of the conflicts, from most frequent to least. is in the order of doctors. nurses, and patients. In terms of relative power, nurses perceive that they have greater power than patients and their families, lower-positioned nurses, and nurse colleagues. In contrast, nurses perceive that they have less power than interns and residents, higher-positioned nurses. and staff doctors. Among these groups. nurses perceive that they have the most power over patients and the least over staff doctors. These results indicate that nurses tend to experience more conflicts with members of groups that are stronger than themselves in terms of relative power, Nurses use positive strategies such as the compromise strategy(32.3%) or the collaboration strategy (20.3%) to manage conflicts, more than other strategies. However, they use avoidance or competition strategy more at the earlier stage, compromise strategy more in the mid stage, and collaboration strategy more at the later stage of the interpersonal conflict. In relation to power, nurses use the collaboration strategy or the compromise strategy more when their perceived power is greater than or equal to their counterpart's, and they use the avoidance strategy or the accommodation strategy if their power is less. In terms of source of power, nurses' perceived relative power is greater in the order of referent power. expert power, reward power, legitimate power. and coercive power. where referent power is perceived as having the greatest power and coercive power is least. Most nurses(69.3%) used their power to resolve a conflict. with positive outcomes. Expert power was used most frequently. Overall. this study strongly indicates that the enhancement of power of nurses to have equal power relations with doctors would heighten the success of conflict resolution, since power is the main cause of conflicts. Specifcally. nurses experience most conflicts with doctors against whom they perceive the greatest gap in power. and the choice of a conflict management strategy depend upon their power relations.

아동학대경험과 분노표출이 대인간 갈등해결방식에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Child Abuse Experience and Anger Expression on the Method of Resolving Interpersonal Conflicts)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of anger expression on the relationship between child abuse experience and the method of resolving interpersonal conflicts. For the study, 3,050 4th to 6th grade children from Kyunggi-do were sampled. The collected data were analyzed using simple regression, multi regression and a path analysis. This study showed that child abuse experience influenced the method of resolving the interpersonal conflicts via the expression of anger. In other words, anger expression could function as a pathway between child abuse experience and the method of resolving interpersonal conflicts.

  • Foodservice industry and distribution business could make mutual prpgress when they join forces in responding to environmental uncertainty in an efficient manner. The purpose of this study was to examine the relational characteristics of domestic food service businesses and distribution firms in conjunction with the distribution channels and ensuing conflicts between them, to present possible alternatives on and how they should communicate with each other to achieve a satisfactory result. The relational characteristics and ensuing conflicts of food service businesses and distribution firms appeared to be significantly characterized by incongruities of target, role and perception. The types of relational characteristics that were triggered by the disagreement of roles and perception combined to decrease the intensity of the relational commitment. A satisfactory transactional relationship served to ease their conflicts caused by perceptual disagreement, and the soos of conflicts that were rooted in the discord of roles and of perception that increased the degree of relational commitment. As for relational performance, relational commitment, satisfaction with distribution channel and satisfaction with suppliers allowed them to maintain their relationship on a long-term basis.
