A Study on the Social Adjustment of Children in Multi-cultural Families (다문화가족 아동의 사회적 적응 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to grasp the factors having influence upon the social adjustment of children in multi-cultural families and to examine the degree of influence of these influential factors. For these aims, it targeted 186 children of multi-cultural families, that access social welfare institutions or multi-cultural institutions in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas. The findings are as follows. First, the factors having influence upon the social adjustment of children in multi-cultural families were indicated to be self-esteem, parental marital relations, bullying, and the support of adults other than their parents. In other words, these children's higher level of social adjustment was correlated with higher self-esteem, better parental marital relations, fewer bullying experiences from their peer group, and more support from adults other than their parents'. Secondly, support from adults other than parents was indicated to be the most influential among the variables affecting the social adjustment of children in multi-cultural families. The factor having the second highest level of influence was indicated to be self-esteem, followed by parental marital relations, and then bullying.

The Effect of Mother's Reactions to Children's Negative Emotions on Children's Peer Relations : The Mediating Role of Children's Empathy and Emotional Regulation Types (아동의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니 반응이 또래관계에 미치는 영향에서 아동의 공감과 정서조절 방식의 매개효과)

  • The study examined the pathways from maternal reactions to children's negative emotions to children's peer relations through children's empathy and emotional regulation. The participants in this study comprised 463 elementary school 4th-6th graders. They completed questionnaires on maternal reactions to children's negative emotions, levels of children's empathy, maladaptive emotion regulation types and skill levels of children's peer relations. Data were analyzed by means of structural equation modeling. It was found that in the case of maternal emotion coaching reactions, when done indirectly, as well as directly, had an influence on their levels of peer relations. On the other hand, in the case of over-sensitive maternal reactions, when done indirectly, but not directly, had an influence on their levels of peer relations. Therefore, these results indicate that children's empathy mediated the effects of maternal emotion coaching and over-sensitive reactions on peer relations. It also found that there are distinct pathways from maternal reaction types to children's negative emotions to peer relations through empathy and maladaptive emotion regulation types.

  • Nuclear thermal-hydraulic system analysis codes have been developed to simulate nuclear reactor systems, which solve simplified governing equations by replacing source terms with constitutive relations for simulating entire reactor systems with low computational resources. For half a century, many efforts have been made for wider versatility and higher accuracy of system codes, but various factors can affect the code analysis results, and it was difficult to isolate these factors and interpret them individually. In this study, two system codes, RELAP5 and TRACE, which have many users and are highly reliable, are selected to analyze only the effects of constitutive relations. The influence of constitutive relations is analyzed using in-house platforms that replicate constitute relations of RELAP5 and TRACE equally to exclude factors that may affect analysis results, such as governing equation solvers and user effects. Among the various constitutive relations, the analysis is performed on the wall variables expected to have the most influence on the analysis results. Part 1 paper presents the methodology and wall friction model comparison, while Part 2 paper shows wall heat transfer comparison of the two selected codes.

The effects of the residential variables on high school students' social personality (주거환경이 고교생의 사회성에 미치는 영향)

  • This is a study to grasp the correlation between high school students' social persenality and residential environment. THe samples were 197 boys and 200 girls who were attending the high schools located in Pusan. Social personality which contains family relations and social relations was measured by the standardized test of K.T.C. The path-analysis was used to make the causal relations of the collected data clear. RESULTS : 1. Feeling on the residential environment underwent the most potent influence by the floor space per person and social personality by feeling on the residential environment. 2. For the boy-students, the family relations andsocial relations was affected by the case of renthouse, the family relations by the case of noisy residence, and the social relations by the case of no-private room. 3. For the girl-students, the cases of higher stories and having private room made the family relations unharmonious, the cases of narrow floor space per person and the single house made the social relations troublesome, too.

The Structural Relationship between Parental Career and Care Support for Multicultural Youth and Teacher Relations, Career Preparation and Career Determination

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of career support and teacher relations of parents in order to determine the career determination of multicultural youths, and to confirm the influence of career preparation between parental career and care support and teacher relations. To this end, data from 2017 (the 7th year) was used among the data from the Multicultural Youth Panel Survey (MAPS). According to the analysis results, first, career support, teacher relations, and career preparation of multicultural youth parents have a positive impact on career determination. Second, the importance of the relative influence of career preparation, which is an internal context factor, was also confirmed in the process of determining the career path of multicultural youths. Third, it was analyzed that the higher the career and childcare support of multicultural youth parents, the more positive the teacher relationship, the higher the career determination. Career preparation was confirmed to play a role in mediating career support and teacher relations among multicultural youth parents in determining career paths. Based on the results of this analysis, practical alternatives were proposed to enhance the career determination of multicultural youths.

A Influence Effect of Mid-life Religious Life and Faith Maturity on the Couples' Life Satisfaction (중년기 종교 활동과 신앙성숙도가 부부생활만족도에 미치는 영향분석연구)

  • The study has found that the main reasons affecting to the mature conjugal relations of middle-aged persons are closely related with sede factors brought about after marriage. Comparatively the factors before marriage have more or less weak power on the conjugal relations. They are mature relations wp between husbands and wives, stable and enough incede, and religious activities, which have deep relations with the satisfactory conjugal relations. C. G. Jung divided the whole life span as self-assuredness period in the first half and self-convergence period in the second half. The first is the period when one does his or her best to get external and physical self. On the contrary, the second is the middle-aged period one finds his or her meaning of life in the religious, philosophical, intuitional, and spiritual world, which lead life into harmony and integration. Therefore if one overcomes some psychological crisis related with middle-aged development he or she can enjoy happy senescence(old age). The study has suggested through literature investigation the definition of middle age and the developmental traits of middle age, and the relations between religions and conjugal relations of middle-aged husbands and wives. Futhermore, it has analyzed the theories which religions have close relations with the life satisfaction of middle-aged conjugal relations. In order to give an analysis the influence of the variable of religious activities and religious maturity, with the degree of conjugal satisfaction, 400 middle age are selected as the object of the study whose ages are ranging from 35 years to 60 years, and who reside in Seoul or near Seoul. They were asked to fill out the questionnaires asking about religious activities, religious maturity, and the conjugal satisfaction from March 25th to April 30th, 2009. The results of the survey have been statistically processed and analyzed. First, the higher religious maturity gives positive influence on the general religious activities including public service, human relations, and spiritual stability. That is, this result indicates that the individual, spiritual, and formal religious activities give to a degree influence on the religious maturity. Second, the maturity of religious life resulting from religious activities has a causation with the satisfaction of conjugal life. In more details, religious activities has a positive influence on the satisfaction of conjugal life(T=31.36, p<.001) In more details, religious activities has a positive influence on the religious maturity(T=31.36, p<.001), and religious activities has a positive influence on the satisfaction of conjugal life(T=33.81, p<.001), and the religious maturity has a positive influence on the satisfaction of conjugal life(T=28.64, p<.001) Third, as we analyze the main effects which religious activities and the religious maturity could give influence on the satisfaction of conjugal life, it is found that both religious activities(F=15.95, p<.001) and the religious maturity(F=23.94, p<.001) give a positive influence on the satisfaction of conjugal life. In conclusion, it is sure that religious activities and the religious maturity have a close relations with the satisfaction of conjugal life. Therefore it can be said that religious activities at the protestant religion, buddhism, and catholic religion can give an important influence on the satisfaction of middle-aged conjugal life.

  • In this study, consumer to use digital media is investigated on media engagement, Brand Attachment, Brand Relations Affect and Brand Loyalty of relation. also analyzing the mediating effect of brand relations affect and brand influence in the relationship between media engagement and brand attachment step has its purpose. Data analysis result showed that media engagement is significant effect on Brand Relations Affect and Brand Attachment, Brand relations Affect and Brand Attachment is significantly effected on the brand loyalty. And mediating Effect of brand Relation Affect was investigated by adjusting role between media engagement and brand attachment. Media engagement and brand relations, the influence of the brand attachment, brand relations affect has a greater effect.

Factors Influencing the Intention to Continue Using the Metaverse: Focusing on the Influence of Social Norms

  • This study aims to examine factors influencing the intention to continue using the metaverse, focusing on the impact of social norms. Specifically, direct and indirect effects of technical characteristics (perceive quality, interactivity, perceived playfulness), user characteristics (self-efficacy, personal innovativeness), and social influence factors (descriptive norm, injunctive norm, subjective norm) on continuous use intention were examined. The role of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness as a mediator was also examined. An online survey was conducted with 165 college students attending universities in two large cities in South Korea who had used the metaverse. As a result, perceived playfulness, descriptive norm, and perceived usefulness directly influenced continuous use intention. Perceived playfulness, interactivity, and subjective norm influenced continuous use intention indirectly through perceived usefulness. This study theoretically extends the Technology Acceptance Model by specifying social influence in metaverse contexts. Practical implications are provided in terms of marketing strategy for the metaverse industry to continue to grow and develop.

The Effects of Job Related Variables on Job Satisfaction and Job Performance of Apparel Salespeople (의류판매원의 직무관련 변인이 직무만족과 직무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the differences in job related variables, job satisfaction and job performance against demographic characteristics and the impacts of job related variables on job satisfaction and job performance. A questionnaire survey collected data from september $1^{st}$ and $7^{th}$ 2011. A convenience sample was drawn from salespersons working for department stores in Daegu and Pohang. A total of 337 responses were complete and usable questionnaires. Data were tested through factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and regression analysis, using SPSS 21.0. The results of this study are as follows: First, six factors were extracted from job related variables (positive reaction of customer, career of salespeople, interpersonal relations, influence of salesperson, customer complaints, overwork). Second, there were significant differences in job related variables, job satisfaction, and job performance according to age, marital status, average monthly income, work period, and job position. Third, regression analysis between job related variables and job satisfaction showed that the most influential predictor of job satisfaction was career of salespeople, followed by interpersonal relations, influence of salesperson, customer complaints, and overwork. The most influential predictor between job related variables and job performance was positive reaction of customer, followed by career of salespeople, interpersonal relations, influence of salesperson, and customer complaints.

The Influence of Relationship Benefit Perception and Relationship Quality on Relationship Intention of Fashion Consumers: Focusing on the Multi-Loyal Relations (패션상품 소비자의 관계혜택지각과 관계본질이 관계유지의도에 미치는 영향: 다면적 충성대상에 따른 영향력의 차이를 중심으로)

  • The objective of this study is to identify the relationship quality and relationship benefit, which has greater explanatory power in predicting fashion consumers' future loyalty. This study is particularly interested in the different explanatory power of each relationship quality with various relationship partners of fashion consumers. The participants were 507 female consumers over 20 years old and they responed questionnaire. The result showed that relationship quality types and relationship benefits having greater explanatory power in predicting consumers' loyal relationship intention varied with multi-loyal relations. Consumers' intention to be loyal to an apparel brand and apparel company was more explained by self attachment than by any other relationship quality types, whereas the intention to be loyal to specific department store was predicted by low involved relationship quality types such as habitual alternative and compensational bind. Trusted intimacy was the only relationship quality type that was significant in predicting consumers' intention to be loyal to salesperson in the future. Among relationship benefits, the influence of convenience benefit was significant in predicting consumers' future loyalty in most relations.
