  • The algebraic structure of the natural integral cohomology operations is explored by means of examples. We decompose the generators of the groups $H^m(\mathbb{Z},\;n)$ with $2\;{\leq}\;n\;{\leq}\;7$ and $2\;{\leq}\;m\;{\leq}\;13$ into the operations of cup products, cross-cap products and compositions. Examination of these decompositions and comparison with other possible generators demonstrates the existence of relations between integral operations that have withheld formulation. The calculated groups and generators are collected in a table for practical reference.

  • In this paper, we realize the algebra of ${\mathbb{Z}}_2$ relations, signed partition algebras and partition algebras as tabular algebras and prove the cellularity of these algebras using the method of [2]. Using the results of Graham and Lehrer in [1], we give the modular representations of the algebra of ${\mathbb{Z}}_2$-relations, signed partition algebras and partition algebras.

  • Fama's (1984) volatility relations show that the risk premium in foreign exchange markets is more volatile than, and is negatively correlated with the expected rate of depreciation. This paper studies these relations from the perspective of goods markets frictions. Using a sticky-price general equilibrium model, we show that near-random walk behaviors of both exchange rates and consumption, in response to monetary shocks, can be derived endogenously. Based on this approach, the paper provides quantitative results on Fama's volatility relations.

  • The main purpose of this paper is to identify the important parameters and to examine their relations to one another while gantry crane structure was modeled. The important elements of the structural analysis are included, such as the stiffness matrix and its relations to the degrees of freedom, the displacement, and frequency responses. To investigate these relations, the parametric modeling of a dynamic system is solved by using the finite element method (ANSYS-Program). Furthermore, EXPRESS schema and C-FAR (change favorable representation) are described how to change the frame length of gantry crane which influences other elements. Since this relationship is established, the results may...

  • Combining and specializing some known results, we establish six identities which depict six modular relations for the Roger-Ramanujan type identities and two equivalent representations for Jacobian identity expressed in terms of combinatorial partition identities and Ramanujan-Selberg continued fraction. Two q-product identities are also considered.

  • Instead of Cartesian product in combining multiple input variables for fuzzy logic controllers, a fuzzy controller using fuzzy relations in inference procedure is proposed. Moreover, a technique is proposed by which conventional fuzzy control rules are transformed into the forms including fuzzy relations. It will be shown through several examples that the proposed technique gives smoother interpolation than conventional ones.

  • Regulated Deficit Irrigation (RDI) is one of the most important measures for the water-saving and high yield of crops. RDI is based on the crop and water relations. The theories of RDI were analyzed using the experiment data in Shaanxi and Gansu Province. There are several problems of RDI in practical use, which include; the uncertainty of crop-water relations, the proper growth stages and water deficit degree of RDI applied, and the requirements of RDI to irrigation system and irrigation techniques.

  • The present paper aims at harnessing the technique of Lie Algebra and operational methods to derive and interpret generating relations for the three-variable Hermite Polynomials $H_n$(x, y, z) introduced recently in [2]. Certain generating relations for the polynomials related to $H_n$(x, y, z) are also obtained as special cases.

  • In this paper, some general results for obtaining recurrence relations between product moments of order statistics for doubly truncated distributions are established. These results are then applied to some specific doubly truncated distributions, viz. doubly truncated Weibull, Exponential, Pareto, power function, Cauchy, Lomax and Rayleigh.
