관계미학을 중심으로 본 유휴공간의 예술적 재생에 관한 연구 (A study on Artistic Regeneration of Idle Spaces focused on the Relational Aesthetics)

  • As the dark side of society, Idle spaces, which occurred with the paradigm change due to rapid modernization and industralization, has been existing as a severed part in cities. But with the periodic change, interest in the existing place and regional regeneration, and the necessity of reconsidering about the idle spaces values of space, city environment, socio-culture, and economy was proposed. I estimated that the change of relational aesthetics aspect of modern arts resulted in the consideration of recognizing 'place' of art, through the study, it was revealed that the form of modern arts and change of enjoyment were related to space, and the fact that this had a relation with the rise of artistic regeneration of idle spaces. mutually communicative relationship formation and practical form of arts was deducted through the interpretation of relational aesthetics, Idle spaces and artistic regeneration space can be categorized into forms of experiential space, creative space, and cultural space, depending on the formation of relationship between author-art-audience. Through the comprehensive analysis, Artistic regeneration space by relationship formation is Vitalization of various forms of art and participation program eliminates the boundary between creation and enjoyment, and the space itself can be said to contain extensive, integral, and nonterritorialization meaning as a place of experiencing art. In other words, Artistic regeneration space of idle spaces forms a close relationship with the local society, and is placed within the context of daily domain as an open space, straying off from the existing separative and closed artistic space configuration. and artistic changeover of idle spaces is not only the appearance of space that simply fulfills function according to transfiguration of modern art, but signifies that art is coexisting with space as an indivisible relationship, and can be said to be the foothold of new relationship creation as the practical 'place' of art.

  • 근대화 이론과 경제성장 위주로 진행된 과거의 개발 패러다임이 1980년대 교착상태에 빠지게 되면서 이에 대한 대안과 돌파구로 개발을 경제성장을 넘어서 총체적인 사회발전으로 바라보는 관점이 등장했고 이를 실현시키기 위한 개발의 접근법으로서 또 수단으로서 문화에 대한 관심이 고조되었다. 포스트개발 이론들은 유럽중심주의의 개발 개념을 파괴하고 동시에 포스트식민사회의 문화 회복, 지역 자체의 내생적 개발과 다양성을 강조하는 대안적 개발 개념을 제시하였고, 공동체, 여성, 개발주권, 참여를 강조하는 신포퓰리즘개발의 움직임도 등장하였다. 국제기구 역시 유네스코를 중심으로 문화와 발전 관계에 대한 논의를 발전시켜나갔다. 본 논문은 개발학과 포스트개발, 국제기구에서의 문화와 발전 논의의 전개 양상을 살펴봄으로써 문화 개념이 이전시기와 질적으로 다르게 변화됐긴 했지만, 본질적으로 문화를 구별되고 경계가 지워진 특수한 것으로 본다는 한계가 있음을 지적한다. 이에 대한 대안으로 지리학의 관계적 장소관을 적용하여 재개념화함으로써 항상 외부와의 관계를 통해 내부적 혼종성과 다양성을 가진 것으로 인식할 필요가 있음을 주장한다.

소비의 관계적 지리와 윤리적 지리교육 (A Relational Geography of Consumption and Ethical Geography Education)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학생들의 일상적 소비의 맥락 속에서 인간-비인간, 장소에 대한 이해의 관계적 전환에 기반하여 윤리적 지리교육의 가능성을 모색해보는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 학생들이 소비하는 상품 네트워크가 탈 국지화되면서 타자에 대한 책임과 배려의 윤리가 축소되는 상황에 대하여 살펴보았다. 이어서 학생들이 소비와 윤리의 문제를 책임과 배려의 관계적 윤리라는 관점을 통하여 바라볼 수 있는 안목의 토대로서 장소와 인간-비인간의 관계적 이해라는 관점을 제시한다. 마지막으로 휴대폰 커넥션을 사례로 소비, 관계적 지리, 책임과 배려의 윤리의 관계를 살펴보았다. 윤리적 지리교육의 역할은 학생들이 자신들의 삶 속에서 부재하는 현존으로서 다양한 인간 및 비인간들과 연계감을 가지고 이들에 대하여 더 많은 책임과 배려를 제공할 수 있는 인식적, 실천적 능력을 가지도록 하는데 있다는 점을 주장한다.

UML 클래스를 이용한, 관계형 데이터베이스 기반의 XML 응용을 위한 통합 설계 방법론 개발 (A Unified Design Methodology Development For XML Application based on Relational Database using UML Class)

  • Nowadays an information exchange on XML such as B2B electronic commerce is spreading. Therefore the systematic and stable management mechanism for storing the exchanged information is needed. For this goal there are many research activities for connection between XML application and relational database. But because XML data have hierarchical structures and relational database can store only flat-structured data, we need to make the conversion rule which changes the hierarchical architecture to 2-dimensional information. Accordingly the modeling methodology for storing each structured information in relational database is needed. In this paper, we introduce a XML modeling methodology to design W3C XML schema using UML and we propose a unified design methodology for relational database schema to store XML data efficiently in relational databases. In the second place, in order to verify objectivity of a unified design methodology. By the way of Ronald Bourret, First we introduce the method of the transformation from XML schema to object model and second we translate object model into relational database schema. Therefore we show the mutual consistency between those consequence, and so can verify a unified design methodology.

  • Place based intervention has become an important strategy for the ubiquitous city initiative. However, the role of the ubiquitous built environment in determining urban quality of life has not investigated fully. Using place as a relational space where people access u-infrastructure, u-health and u-services, this paper examines the relationship between spatial variations in the provision of ICTs and the spatial reconfiguration of quality of life operating at different geographical scales across Australia. Based on a case study of the state of Queensland in Australia, we emphasize the need for a place based approach to ubiquitous technologies and infrastructure provision in different socio economic hierarchies of space and place.

  • 데모-기반 학습은 사용자가 직접 작업을 시연함으로써 로봇에게 쉽게 새로운 작업지식을 가르칠 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 하지만 기존의 많은 데모-기반 학습법들은 상태공간과 정책들을 표현하기 위해 속성-값 벡터 모델을 이용하였다. 속성-값 벡터 모델의 제한성으로 인해, 이들은 학습과정의 효율성도 낮고 학습된 정책의 재사용성도 낮았다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 속성-값 모델 대신 관계적 모델을 이용하는 새로운 데모-기반 작업 학습법을 제안한다. 이 방법에서는 사용자 데모 기록에서 추출한 훈련 예들에 관계적 개체-기반 학습법을 적용함으로써, 동일 작업영역내의 다른 유사한 작업들에도 활용하기 용이한 관계적 개체-기반 정책을 유도한다. 이 관계적 정책은 (상태, 목표) 쌍으로 표현되는 임의의 한 상황에 대해 이것에 대응하는 하나의 실행동작을 결정해주는 역할을 한다. 본 논문에서는 데모-기반 관계적 정책 학습법에 대해 자세히 소개한 후, 로봇 시뮬레이터를 이용한 실험을 통해 이 학습법의 효과를 분석해본다.

  • Accounts of the development of a successful construction project often stress the importance of team relationship, project environment and senior management commitment. Numbers of studies carried out in the past decades indicate there needs to be a change of culture and attitude in the construction industry. In order for a turn around in the industry, relational contracting approaches have become more popular in recent years. However, not all relational contracting projects were successful. This paper details the fundamental principles of relational contracting. It further reports findings of a research currently taking place in Australia, how effective is relational contracting in practice. The problem addressed in this research is the implementation of relational contracting: • Throughout a range of projects • With a focus on client body staff The context within which the research was undertaken is: • Empowerment, regional development and promotion of a sustainable industry • The participating organisations have experience of partnering and alliancing • Success has been proven on large projects but performance is variable • Need has been identified to examine skill sets needed for successful partnering/alliancing The practical rationale behind this research is that: • Partnering and alliancing require a change of mind set - a culture change • The Client side must change along with contracting side • A fit is required between organisation structure and organisation culture Research Rationale: The rationale behind this project has been to conduct research within participating organisations, analyse, rationalise and generalise results and then move on to produce generic deliverables and "participating organisation specific" deliverables. This paper sets out the work so far, the links between the various elements and a plan for turning the research output into industry deliverables.

  • Modern fashion market is being developed by emotional values rather than rational idea of customers. Experiential marketing is an effective marketing strategy for fashion marketplace because customers tend to consider fashion shopping as an enjoyable experience. Among the fashion markets, the fashion stores for middle.old aged women that have various points of contacts could be appropriate place where emotional and relational marketing strategies would be applied to. The effects of the procedure "emotional and relational experience$\rightarrow$commitments$\rightarrow$long-term relationship orientation" that fashion customers are experiencing, by forming a path model, two types of experiential effects from emotion and relation were examined. It was found that fashion emotional and relational experiences were important factors because these factors affected a long-term relationship orientation. The findings of the study provide marketing strategy that enables to promote a consistent relationship between fashion stores and customers. Furthermore, this study will contribute to the criteria for segmentation of middle and old aged women's fashion market who have own desire for fashion emotional and relational experience.

현대 건축에서 나타난 현상적 공간에 관한 연구 - 스위스건축가 작품을 중심으로 - (A Study on The Phenomenal Space in The Contemporary Architecture - Focus on the analysis of The architecture of Swiss architects -)

  • The purpose of this study clarifies an expression characteristic of the phenomenal space. The architecture is an interface between human and nature. Nature presents herself as phenomena. Thus, the phenomenal space should be approached as the essence of architecture that is to accommodate nature. Phenomenon is related to everyday life and shares flow naturally within it. The phenomenon and everyday life form a relationship through the mediating elements that are time, place, and image. If these mediating elements are developed as spatialized elements, time becomes the converse, place becomes the overlap, and shape becomes the revealing. Also, spatial components that are substituted with these elements are void/solid, form, and materials. The relational characteristics of phenomenal space can be identified through these, and such characteristics are one-ness, continuity, and coincidence of opposites. Phenomenal space is expressed with spatial tones and accepted as spatial atmospheres. For the analysis, 15 works of swiss architects were selected to which spatial elements were applied. And It were composed that analysis by arranging these components as the relational network found that expression characteristics. Trough the analysis, It was found that expression characteristics of phenomenal space of the architecture of Swiss architects were prototypicality, primitiveness, and originality. As a results, It is considered that the role of the space that contains the value of everyday life, the value of the phenomenon is necessary.

객체관계형 데이터베이스 시스템에서의 새로운 고립화 수준 (A New Isolation Level in Object-Relational DBMSs)

  • 데이터베이스의 성능향상을 위하여 관계형 DBMS에서는 엄정 이단계 로킹을 따르는 고립화 수준 3대신 고립화 수준 2의 변형인 커서 안정성이 유용하게 사용되어 왔다. 그러나, 객체 관계형 DBMS(object relational DBMS : ORDBMS)의 탐색항해 응용에 대해서 허상 포인터 문제, 갱신 분실 문제, 그리고 일관성을 잃은 복합객체를 읽는 문제와 같은 심각한 일관성 문제로 인하여 커서 안정성은 ORDBMS에서는 더 이상 유용한 수준이 되지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 ORDBMS에서 수준 3의 동시성 저하를 피하는 동시에 커서 안정성의 일관성 문제를 해결하는 새로운 고립화 수준인 탐색향해 안정성(navigation stability)을 제안한다. 먼저, 탐색항해 응용에 대한 커서 안정성의 일관성 문제를 분석한다. 다음으로, 커서 안정성을 확장하여 탐색항해 안정성을 정의하고 탐색항해 안정성이 ORDBMS의 탐색항해 응용에 대한 커서 안정성의 일관성 문제를 일으키지 않음을 증명한다. 마지막으로, 성능 평가를 통해 수행 시간이 긴 트랜잭션의 경우에 탐색항해 안정성은 수준 3에 비해 성능을 최대 200%까지 향상시키고, 평균 응답 시간을 최대 55% 줄이며, 트랜잭션의 철회율을 최대 77% 줄임을 보였다. 이러한 결과로부터, 탐색항해 안정성은 ORDBMS에서 일관성을 거의 희생하지 않고도 성능 향상을 위해 수준 3 대신 사용할 수 있는 유용한 고립화 수준임을 의미한다.
