The standards of acceptable limit and compensation is one of the most important things in environmental noise and vibration disputes resolution. In this paper, review on the present acceptable limit level and compensation standard in National Environmental Dispute Resolution Commission is introduced. Discordance of standards between in the regulation law and in the dispute resolution commission and it's improvement are discussed. Abnormal reasoning for compensation standards is pointed out from a author's private view.

Recently, many drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles in leisure and express delivery industries etc. brought increasing issues for the motorcycle safety. This paper has studied the structural safety of two-wheeled motorcycles considering the regulations for stand, rear registration plate and anti-tampering measures. The authors have investigated and compared a variety of international and domestic regulations and specifications for structural safety of those components. Detailed experimental procedures of stand, mounting for rear registration plate and anti-tampering measures are proposed to secure the two-wheeled motorcycle safety and the outcomes of this study can be used to confirm the Korean motor vehicle safety standards.

Construction victims have increased year by year. Disaster proportion is also increasing continuously. Looking over the causes of disasters by each type of work, fall from working platform indicate the highest rate above all so that it is urgently required to set up safety measures. This study is to grasp the present status of construction accidents, to identify areal characteristics of the top 20% accidents on the basis of working platforms with the highest accident rate, to grasp the causes of accidents after their analyses, and to present methods to reduce casualties related to working platforms. As measures to reduce construction disasters, this study proposes to improve safety management and training on working platforms, to complement safety regulations, and to better performance including the development and expansion of certified products suitable for safety regulations.

Slips and falls are associated with many public injuries in Korea. It is also estimated that slipping are major contributors to slip, trip and fall injury burden. The primary purpose of the present study is to determine if, and to what extent, the standard could be improved in present environment. In order to fulfill our objective, the regulations in Korea and foreign countries were investigated and reviewed. Many kind of standard, mandatory documents and guideline were also reviewed. And then, regulations, standard, guideline etc. reviewed were compared with each others. Also, some criteria was developed in this study. Standard and criteria developed in this study will help to prevent slip, trip, and fall injuries.

This paper study is to identify the effect of quality certification incentives regulations to a firm. The pur purpose of this study is to propose the right way of improvement and policy by conduct research for quality certification incentives regulations, which applied by public procurement service for office furniture. For more accuracy, this study analyze the result of questionnaire, visiting, telephone survey conducted by office furniture manufacturer those are registered in MAS (Multiple Award Schedule System).

In Korea, as risk informed applications and regulations become active, the necessity of Maintenance Rule(MR) has increased. The objective of this study is to understand the effectiveness and the application method of the Maintenance Rule, which is one of the performance-based regulations and to propose the effective maintenance and regulation method. Railway is facing a new era by the remarkable technology-intensive development of railways in the rolling stock and track, trains and infrastructure facilities. But the relevant provisions of the regulations for the various driving speed limit accept most of the past rules and it is desperately needed to realize the efficiency of the train operation. In addition, because the rules that drive too many treats of redundancy(the same information is duplicated in the other company policy provisions), they can cause confusion among employees, and also because of the contents of the detailed provisions dealing with almost same regulations, they can cause probable failure and big accident. In this study, the relevant provisions of the current rules are analyzed and overcome problems to improve efficiency and duplicated contents of relevant provisions to drive trains are merged. Also by reorganization of complex speed limits, we can understand easily when even the unusual situation and make a simple decision to prevent accidents. As a result, we can establish the system by doing subsequent actions quickly and accurately.

The medical manager has taken charge of medical care on board ship. However the domestic and international regulations concerning the qualifications and education of medical manger are primarily focused on first aid, aspect nursing, etc. There are no education contents on medicine. The purpose of this research is to identify the problems of ship's medication and medical manager education system, and propose the some improvements. The first is to expand the education on medicine and medical devices in the range of 3-4 hours. The second is to amend the national and international regulations to include education on medicine and medication. The third is to improve the ships and vessels medicine management system to systematically manage the medicines supplied to the vessels.

This study proposed the optimum design values for the biological clean room system observing the regulations of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP). Even though the standard for industrial clean room system has been well established, the basis for biological food clean room system is the first stage. In order to prevent the contaminations in advance for food storages, processes, and distributions, the criterion of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point is positively required. This study also suggested the possible ways of how to avoid the hazardous contaminations.

In this study, the domestic and abroad policies and regulations on the gas cooling systems have been analyzed. First, the current policies were investigated in Korea and other countries to stimulate the distribution of the gas cooling systems. The advantage and disadvantage for each policy were evaluated. Finally, several policies were proposed for the effective distribution of the gas cooling systems.
