The disabled peoples increase in number by disasters from the industrialization and urbanization. The physically handicapped people experience many difficulties in using the facilities in the public buildings. So, this survey proposed the necessary conditions for the handicapped peoples to use without any trouble in public buildings. The objects of investigation were public buildings, village offices, a public library, synthesis hospitals banks, an express bus station, a wedding building, a railroad station etc.. Conclusions were as follow \circled1 The most of buildings were established access road in regulations but parking area was established inappropriately in regulations \circled2 The most of convenience facilities were concentrated on first floor but were established barely in more than second floor. \circled3 The most of convenient facilities were established in appropriately in regulations. \circled4 The other convenient facilities(reception desk, ticket agency, work desk etc.) were not established nearly in the buildings of investigation.

New & renewable energy technology development has been carrying out in 11 different areas so far. Many technologies are being applied to the required areas according to its own characteristics. Before launching the development, these technologies have been evaluated by their commercial effect and contribution to energy supply. In this paper, the impact factors enhancing the distribution of renewable energy were developed to select appropriate diffusion regulations for each technology area. In addition, AHP methodology was introduced to investigate priorities of the regulations along with weights of impact factors.

Maritime terrorism at sea is the form of violent interference with shipping. Its global reach and negative impact on sea transportation, safety of navigation and marine environment, as well as the threat it poses to human lives and property, call for effective countermeasures at the international and national level at the same time. First, this paper gives a factual assessment of the phenomenon of maritime terrorism as well as a legal analysis of the international provisions to suppress such forms of violence at sea which is different from piracy. And also this paper attempts to address and identify issues relevant to the existing international regulations such as SUA Convention as the main source of international regulations applicable to acts of terrorism at sea, ISPS Code, PSI, etc. Finally this paper suggests the national countermeasures against maritime terrorism in light of above mentioned the definition, causes, types of maritime terrorism and concerning international regulations.

Dietary supplements are generally defined as concentrated sources of nutrients prescribed in addition to the daily diet to increase nutrient intake. These supplements are usually in the form of tablets, capsules, pills, powders, or liquids. Sales of dietary supplements are roughly $4 billion per year in the United States. Nearly 4 out of every 10 adults use dietary supplements regularly. This article is to report the pros and cons in the use of dietary supplements and a brief overview of current law, proposed regulations, and related activities in the United States. It provides what information should be known to the public before federal regulations governing health claims are made . These regulations may decide whether health food industries or pharmaceutical companies can make claims about the function of nutrients.

In order to improve the speed of railway, several parameters and/or technical issues, which are affecting speed improvement negatively, need to be considered in addition to the enhancement of physical performance of the railway system such as maximum speed, speed at curve, and speed at turnout track. The parameters under complicated situation of railway system are from the areas of rolling stocks, track, power system, signalling, etc. In general, two different aspects of technical issues can be evaluated; Technical issues in the hardware aspect and technical issues in the software aspect. The hardware parameters include running performance, braking performance, and power performance, while the software factors are rules, regulations, and riding quality. In this investigation, a comparison study between hardware and software aspects in technical issues was conducted to provide technical information on the amendment of railway speed-up regulations.

The Federal Maritime Commission is issuing new regulations implementing the Administrative dispute Resolution Act. The new regulations expand the Commission's Alternative dispute resolution(“ADR”) services, addressing guidelines and procedures for arbitration and providing for mediation and other ADR services. This rule replaces current subpart U-(Conciliation Service), with a new subpart U-(Alternative Dispute Resolution), that contains a new Commission ADR policy and provisions for various means of ADR. The rule also revises certain other regulations to conform to the Commission's new ADR policy. So, this paper object was to study on the FMC's ADR in U.S. with the emphasis on the final rule analysis.

The object of this study lies in reviewing of the western costume history in the light of the negative regulations concerning costumes and adornments. Readings related with the subject lead to the following findings; 1. the principal purpose of the sumptuary laws has relationship with the social stratification of the feudalism and the frequency of their occurrence is related with the formation of feudal system, its decline, the appearance of imperial regimes and the start of civil revolutions. 2. Sumptuary regulations spread westward with the flow of civilization, eg., in the sequence of Italy, swiss, France, Britain and new world. 3. Sumptuary laws are also found in abundance in the english colonies of America, and their object seems to be rather of the moral concern than class distinction of economical restriction.4. The reviewed sumptuary regulations are concerned with : A. Material gold or silver clothes, silks, ermine, marten or miniver furs, velvets, laces and embroies. B. Colors-Purple, scarlet and red. Other colors do not show consistent pattern of color-status symbol; C. Form-Length and width of headdresses, shoes, collars, trains or hoops. E. numbers of dresses allowed to be worn.

With the commercialization of CDMA 2000-1x late in 2000, a high-speed wireless Internet, based on a mobile communication networks, appeared in Korea. This will develop into the next-generation of mobile communications(4G) in the future and the new cell layout will be required the cellular configuration of 4G. We would need the legislation with respect to base-stations and to building the mobile communication networks, as well as the optimization of mobile communication systems. In this study, in order to provide 4G, I examined and analyzed that the current laws & regulations related to licensing and operating a mobile communication base-stations in KOREA.

Small vessels of less then 20 tonnage and leisure boats such as motor boats, sailing yachts, water motorcycle, etc have been excluded from the rules and regulations such as Marine Leisure Safety Act, Ship Act and Ship Safety Act for a long time in Korea. As a result, these small vessels and leisure boats have remained within the blind area of maritime safety and environment protection. Among these vessels and boats, some leisure boats such as motor boats of 20 horse power or more(excluding motor boats equipped with engine inside the vehicles), water motorcycles and rubber boats of 30 horse power or more are incorporated into the Marine Leisure Safety Act through the registry, safety inspection, insurance early 2005 in Korea. In relation to the scope of application of the national Acts concerned, I consider the conflicts between Acts and suggest the subordinate enforcement ordinance and regulations.

The railway industry of each country has variant technical standards and regulations unlike other industries. For this reason, it is necessary to investigate the domestic technical standards and regulations and to prepare the countermeasure of the variance for advancing the korean high-speed railroad system into foreign market. This study was designed to investigate the railway design/manufacturing, examination/inspection and safety of domestic and foreign countries subject to a world market for advancing the korean high-speed railroad system into a foreign market. Because the reliance of a railroad system is a prerequisite for the safety of railroads, it is very important to obtain the reliance data, which is based on the RMS analysis of foreign countries subject to a world market.
