There are many research Papers and experiments indicating that the geomagnetic field affects the people and living organism. People grow up and build up most of their character through living in dwelling space and have relax and refresh at home. Creating healthy dwelling space is being considered very important in architectural planning and design for providing comfortable living environment and improving quality of life. Therefore. it is necessary to investigate the geomagnetic field and people's response in living space. In this study the vertical component(Z value) of geomagnetic field in detached houses was measured, evaluated by related evaluation criteria, compared with interview survey.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the experiential aspects of consumer in the ap-parel buying process especially the affective aspects. An ethnographic approach is a kind of qualitative analysis or naturalistic inquiry be-ing adopted by studies of anthnopology and consumer behavior,. Data were collected via doing participant observation interview field notes and recording for three months from fe-male students of universities in Pusan. Results were as following: First consumers experienced the various kinds of affection in the apparel buying pro-cess such as satisfaction pleasure/refresh-ment interest/attraction pride conspicous-ness impulse neglect prostration anxiety ir-ritation and dispiritedness. Second especially they were felt satis-faction and conspicousness by the atmosphere of store pleasure by the smell of store and impulse by nostalgia in apparel buying process. Also negative affections felt in the process such as neglect prostration anxiety and irri-taton had a great influence to apparel buying behavior. This study was to serve as a pilot study we wished to fortify the methodology of qualitat-ive analysis to identify themes and to de-velop hypothesis for further study.

A replication server is considered to be one of the most effective tools to cope with the problems that may be caused by the complex data replications in distributed database systems. In the distributed environment, locking a table is inevitable and it is the main reason to coerce the system practically. This paper presents an Asynchronous Replicator Scheme (ARS) that basically utilizes the system log as files named differential files to refresh the distributed data files with complicated queries, and that it prevents (normally, huge) base tables from being locked. We take join operations as the complicated queries, not only because the join operation covers almost all the operations, but also because it is one of the most time-consuming and data intensive operations in query processings.

In distributed database systems materialized views are useful to solve many problems caused by data replication. This paper deals with the problem of updating materialized views incluing join operations. We use a differential update which uses logs that record the change of base tables in certain periods. This method avoids locking of the base tables so that it makes the system more efficient. We update materialized views periodically to save the updating cost envolved. A screen test is applied to differential files to eliminate tuples that are irrelevant to any of the views being updated. Using these methods, a detailed procedure is addressed to refresh materialized views. Then we show that our update procedure performs better than a semijoin approach.

Optimizing the number of ad clicks is a large-scale learning problem that is central to the multi-billion-dollar mobile advertising industry. There are currently several optimization methods being used, including ad mediation and ad positioning. Recently, researchers have recommended using ad refresh interval as a new method for optimizing mobile advertising. This paper applies that new method to optimize content duration for mobile ads. The result achieved from this optimization study could further increase revenue for mobile advertisers and publishers. This research has high applicability for the growing mobile advertising industry. It also lays out a solid background for future research in this promising area.

ZnO 는 톡특한 물리적 화학적 성질을 가지고 있는 반도성 물질이기 때문에 최근 광전자 소자인 LED, TFT, 광센서 등에 적용하려는 연구가 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 특히 1차원 ZnO 나노구조는 박막보다 높은 결정성과 물리, 화학적으로 안정하고 표면적이 매우 넓어 많은 연구가 진행되고 있지만, 대량으로 간단하며 저렴하게 생산하기 위해서 친환경적이며 적은 시간으로 합성을 해야 한다. 그래서 최근 수열 합성법을 이용하여 합성이 많이 이루어지고 있지만, ZnO 나노막대 제조 중 기존에 보고된 방법은 대부분 aspect ratio가 낮으며, 저가의 용액 기반으로 높은 aspect ratio를 가지는 나노 선을 제작하기 어려운 실정이다. 또한 용액기반의 성장에서는 기판과의 격자 상수와 열팽창 계수의 차이로 인해 기판과의 adhesion 이 매우 낮아 adhesion layer를 증착 하여 나노 막대을 제작하는 것이 발표가 되고 있다. 하지만 또 하나의 공정이 더해지기 때문에 복잡해지고, 소자에 응용하기에는 한계점이 보인다. 그렇기 때문에 이번 연구에서는 성장 시 Zn 소스가 소모가 다 되었을 시 성장 용액을 교체하는 과정에서 성장 온도와 같이 유지 시킨 뒤에 성장을 하는 방법으로 수직 방향으로 10 um 의 길이를 가지는 ZnO 나노막대의 합성을 가능하게 하였다.

W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)가 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)을 차세대 웹 문서 표준으로 제안하면서 많은 응용에서 XML을 사용하려는 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 뷰는 이질적인(heterogeneous) 데이터의 통합 및 여과(filtering) 기능을 통해서 사용자가 요구하는 데이터를 제공한다. 뷰의 구현 기법 중에서 실체 뷰(materialized view)는 뷰의 내용을 직접 저장하는 기법으로서, 사용자의 질의에 빠른 응답시간을 제공할 수 있다. 그러나 실체 뷰는 하부 데이터베이스가 변경되었을 경우에 일관성을 유지해야 하는 오버헤드가 있다. XML은 문서의 구조정보를 나타낼 수 있으므로 기존의 관계 데이터베이스와 객체지향 데이터베이스 등에서 연구되었던 실체 뷰 관리 기법과는 다른 XML 실체 뷰 관리 기법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 XML 문서를 대상으로 XML 실체 뷰를 지원하고, 데이터베이스에 저장된 XML 문서가 수정되었을 경우에 XML 실체 뷰에 대해 점진적 갱신(incremental refresh)을 지원하는 XML 실체 뷰 관리 프레임워크(framework)를 제안하였다.

This paper describes the implementation of the AVT(Automatic video Tracker) using ASIC. The basic tracking algorithm is based on the spatio-temporal gradient method, and adaptive window sizing, track state decision algorithm were also realized. Newly developed ASIC performs recursive image filtering, extraction of spatio-temporal gradient/gradient functions of image in field rate. Using the FPGA/ASIC, the tracker was simply realized in one board type which can be easily applied to various image system. We conformed ASIC operation by computer simulation and tested the system in real tracking situations. From the result, the system can track the moving target which has a velocity of 2-3 pixel/field and a size of varying from 2 to 128 pixes. Also fast refresh rateof motion estimation(60Hz) improves the characteristics of servoing system which forms feedback loop with the tracker.

기존의 웹 애플리케이션 데이터 처리 기법으로는 동일 페이지에서 데이터의 Request와 Response를 동적으로 처리할 수 없다. 단위 워크플로우를 처리하기 위해서는 Request 페이지와 Response 페이지를 구분 처리하거나 페이지를 Refresh 해야 한다. 따라서, 사용자가 증가할수록 리소스 사용 비율 및 네트워크 대역폭이 급격하게 증가하게 된다. 이러한 이유로 복잡한 대화형 웹 애플리케이션 개발 및 실시간 정보교환시스템 구축이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 비동기 통신 방법인 AJAX(Asynchronous JavaScript And XML)기반 기술을 이용하여 기존 예약 시스템의 문제를 개선한 실시간 예약 시스템을 구축하고, 직관적이며 데이터 변동 상태를 실시간으로 제공하는 사용자 인터페이스 구축 방법을 제안한다.
