  • Recently energy consumption and $CO_2$ emission issue are important problem on international society. The present study has been conducted economic analysis considering economical value of $CO_2$ reduction effect. We analyze annual energy cost and annual $CO_2$ emission of the cogeneration system and gas boiler system in hotel. The first results shows that annual energy cost of cogeneration system (751,740,126 won) is more profitable than gas boiler system (801,128,408 won) by 6.2% (49,388,281 won). The second results shows that annual $CO_2$ emission of cogeneration system (3,297 ton) is less than gas boiler system (3,536 ton) by 6.8% (239 ton). The Economical value of $CO_2$ reduction effect is 4,773,898 won. The cost effect according to the reduction of $CO_2$ is corresponding to 9.7% of reduction cost for total energy cost. The result of this study means that $CO_2$ reduction effect is essential item in introduction and change of facility for economic analysis.

  • This numerical study was to investigate the effect of $CO_2$ addition on the structures and NOx formation characteristics in $CH_4$ counterflow diffusion flame. The importance of radiation effect was identified and $CO_2$ addition effect was investigated in terms of thermal and chemical reaction effect. Also the causes of NOx reduction were clarified by separation method of each formation mechanisms. The results were as follows : The radiation effect was intensified by $CO_2$ addition. Thermal effect mainly contributed to the changes in flame structure and the amount of NO formation but the chemical reaction effect also cannot be neglected. The reduction of thermal NO was dominant with respect to reduction rate, but that of prompt NO was dominant with respect to total amount.

  • One of the structural measures for the peak flow reduction is infiltration facilities. There are many types in infiltration facilities - infiltration basin, trench, bed, porous pavement, percolated subdrain, dry well. In this study runoff reduction effect of infiltration trench is analyzed by WinSLAMM. Runoff reduction effect is investigated by each design rainfall and temporal pattern of rainfall particularly. The biggest reduction is shown in Yen and Chow's temporal pattern of design rainfall and the smallest reduction is shown in Huff's first quartile pattern. Runoff reduction rate is presented about 6 to 14 percentage, and the larger return period, the smaller runoff reduction rate.

  • The development of the information on the internet brought a lot of changes in the real estate market. Because the real estate has local distinctiveness and individuality household who want to move must to visit place for housing information. But now household use internet real estate information at every decision-moving step and that is able to reduce not only the cost of real estate information but also social benefit like $CO_2$ emissions reduction effect. In this study, I analyzed the effect of $CO_2$ emissions reduction with Seoul household residential mobility data when household take informations from internet real estate site. As increasing a single family who is good at internet service, the effect of $CO_2$ reduction from the development of the Internet real estate information has more increased.

  • Modal Shift from road to rail has been adapted in several countries as one of effective ways of reducing $CO_2$ emissions caused by transport. Generally, effect analysis of $CO_2$ reduction toward modal shift is calculated mainly from use stage and less consideration from other stages of life cycle, even though, in some case of modal shift needs that new line construction or new vehicle manufacturing. In this study, modal shift effect analysis is performed with considering construction, manufacturing vehicle and use stage. As a result we can get total $CO_2$ reduction effect using life cycle thinking and check the necessity of including other life cycle stage not only considering use stage. In conclusion, there is no $CO_2$ reduction effect if the reduction amount of $CO_2$ in use stage is not bigger than allocated annual amount of $CO_2$ in construction and manufacturing vehicle stage. According to this fact, analysing $CO_2$ reduction effect of Modal Shift should be considered not only the use stage.

  • The counter-flow jet from a supersonic/hypersonic vehicle causes a structural change in the shock wave generated around the aircraft, which can lead to reduced drag and heat loads. Since the idea is to mount a counter-flow jet device for drag reduction in the aircraft, it is necessary to understand the effect of such a device on the entire aircraft. In this study, the effect of drag reduction due to counter-flow jet on a conventional rocket configuration was analyzed through CFD analysis. The results showed that the drag reduction effect was the largest in the blunt region and that the counter-flow jet also affected the downstream of the aircraft. The analysis indicated that the drag reduction effect by the counter-flow jet was about 10 to 25 % when targeting the entire rocket-shaped area, while the effect was as high as 50% when targeting only blunt objects.

  • Numerical simulations of freely propagating flames burning $H_2/HCl/Air$ mixtures are performed at atmospheric pressure in order to understand the effect of HCl on the NOx reduction. A chemical kinetic mechanism is developed, which involves 26 gas-phase species and 99 reactions. Under several equivalence ratios the flame speeds are calculated and compared with those obtained from the experiments, the results of which is in good agreement. As HCl is added into $H_2/Air$ flame as additive, its chemical effect causes the reduction of radicals (H, OH, and O), and then the decrease of the net rate of NO production. It is found that the chemical effect of additive has much more influence on the reduction of EINO than its physical effect.

  • This study examined the relations among CRM activities of cosmetic companies, relationship benefits, relationship commitment, and brand switching reduction intention. The participants consisted of 399 women over the age of 20. The results of this study were as follows: First, CRM activities were perceived as a concept of sub-components, and the customers recognized the relationship benefits and commitments. Second, CRM activities did not make a positive effect on brand switching reduction intention. Third, CRM activities had a positive influence on relationship benefits, and the relationship benefit affected the brand switching reduction intention positively. Fourth, CRM activities created a positive effect on relationship commitment, and also the relationship commitment had a positive effect on brand switching reduction intention. Lastly, relationship benefits had a positive effect on relationship commitment and it was precedent variables.

  • The effect of Cu content on hydrogen reduction behavior of ball-milled $WO_3$-CuO nanocomposite powders was investigated. Hydrogen reduction behavior and reduction percent(${\alpha}$) of nanopowders were characterized by thermogravimetry (TG) and hygrometry measurements. Activation energy for hydrogen reduction of $WO_3$ nanopowders with different Cu content was calculated at each heating rate and reduction percent(${\alpha}$). The activation energy for reduction of $WO_3$ obtained in this study existed in the ranging from 129 to 139 kJ/mol, which was in accordance with the activation energy for $WO_3$ powder reduction of conventional micron-sized.

  • This study was reviewed the noise reduction effects with installation of 'point to point speed camera' for controlling the speed of the car. The multiple regression analysis was performed to know how the relationship between the noise level and these parameters, such as measured traffic volume and rate of heavy vehicle and weighted average speed was changed with and without the 'point to point speed camera'. In the analysis results shows that the less traffic volume, the more noise reduction effect has been increased and the more traffic volume, the more noise reduction effect has been reduced. And noise reduction effects by the 'point to point speed camera' was different from each measured point. The cause of the difference was determined that inadequate 'point to point speed camera' position to see the effect of noise reduction. It is determined to require a more study to improve the noise reduction effects of the 'point to point speed camera' such as the camera position adjustment.
