In 2010, Dijk et al. demonstrated a simple somewhat homomorphic encryption (HE) scheme over the integers of which this simplicity came at the cost of a public key size in $\tilde{O}({\lambda}^{10})$. Although in 2011 Coron et al. reduced the public key size to $\tilde{O}({\lambda}^7)$, it is still too large for practical applications, especially for the cloud computing. In this paper, we propose a new form of somewhat HE scheme to reduce further the public key size and a variation of the scheme to optimize the ciphertext size. First of all, we propose a new somewhat HE scheme which is built on the hardness of the approximate greatest common divisor (GCD) problem of two integers, where the public key size in the scheme is reduced to $\tilde{O}({\lambda}^3)$. Furthermore, we can reduce the length of the ciphertext of the new somewhat HE scheme by applying the modular reduction technique. Additionally, we give simulation results for evaluating ability of the proposed scheme.

This paper describes the design of size-reduced ring hybrid couplers (RHC) using a common defected ground structure (CDGS). The proposed RHC consists of double-sided microstrip line and the CDGS patterns which are placed in the common ground plane of the double-sided microstrip line. The effects of DGS as a periodic structure are imposed on both microstrip lines, so the advantages of the existing DGS are doubled. The normal RHC is designed first and folded by the half reference plane with the CDGS realized on the common ground plane. So another trial for size-reduction is performed by folding the RHC and inserting CDGS besides to the conventional DGS. In order to show a design example, a 2GHz RHC is designed and miniaturized using CDGS. The size of the miniaturized RHS is around 50% of the normal one, while the performances are well preserved even after the size-reduction.

Silver nanoparticles was synthesized by the method of W/O microemulsions with AOT (bis(2-ethylhexyl) sodium sulfosuccinate). The nucleation particle growth and aggregation was controlled by the droplet exchange process. The intermicellar exchange reaction is varied by changing the AOT and the $H_2O$ concentration. The synthesized W/O microemulsions was found to give the nanoparticles, which was confirmed by SEM, TEM, particle-size-analyzer, and UV-spectrometer. The most stable particles was obtained at 0.056 mole AOT solution, and the particle size distribution was found in the range from 27 to 31 nm. The mean particle size was reduced by adding Tween 20 significantly, and distribution was found from 14 to 16 nm. And, It's size was reduced by cosurfactants as toluene and benzyl alcohol. In case of toluene and benzyl alcohol, the range of particle size was found 7${\sim}$11 nm and 8${\sim}$12 nm.

To offer a basic information for the fibers of commercial leaflets, authors examined and analyzed the distribution, size, and printing types of leaflets sandwiched in the newspaper. The number of different leaflet size were almost 30 in two years including B5 ($182{\times}257mm$), A4 ($210{\times}297mm$), B4, ($257{\times}364mm$), A3 ($297{\times}420mm$), and large flyers such as $545{\times}395mm$, and $790{\times}550mm$. The number of different leaflets size were 25 in 2011, which was reduced to 15 in 2012. Both the number and amount of the leaflets were reduced. The high quality leaflets were issued and distributed in the corporate sector and the leaflets issued in other sectors such as shopkeeping, restaurant business, educational institutions were one-sided leaflets printed on single side of the paper. Compared to the previous year, large stores showed the increased number of leaflets but the number of leaflets from restaurant business and educational institutions and building trade were decreased.

본 논문은 크기가 소형화된 광대역 기생 패치 안테나를 제안한다. 폭이 좁아진 주 패치의 두 방사 모서리부에 U자 형태의 기생 패치를 설계하여 안테나 전체 크기를 감소시키고, 주 패치와 기생 패치 사이의 E-plane 및 H-plane을 통한 electromagnetic coupling에 의해 광대역 특성을 얻는다. 안테나 방사 소자들의 전체 크기는 $18{\times}17.6\;mm^2$ 이고, 접지면과 유전체를 포함한 전체 크기는 $25{\times}30{\times}4\;mm^3$이다. 설계된 안테나는 FR4 유전체를 이용해 제작하였으며, 5.12 GHz와 6.08 GHz의 공진 주파수와 5.5 GHz 중심 주파수를 기준으로 27.3 %(1.5 GHz)의 대역폭을 갖는다. 측정된 안테나의 방사 패턴은 일반적인 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나와 유사하다.

Reduced activation ferritic (JLF-1) steel is leading candidates for blanket/first-wall structures of the D-T fusion reactor. In fusion application, structural materials will suffer effects of repeated changes of temperature. Therefore, the data base of tensile strength and fracture toughness at operated temperature $400^{\circ}C$ are very important. Fracture toughness ($J_{IC}$) and tensile tests were carried out at room temperature and elevated temperature ($400^{\circ}C$). Fracture toughness tests were performed with two type size to investigate the relationship between the constraint effect of a size and the fracture toughness resistance curve. As the results, the tensile strength and the fracture toughness values of the JLF-1 steel are slightly decreased with increasing temperature. The fracture resistance curve increased with increasing plane size and decreased with increasing thickness. The fracture toughness values of JLF-1 steel at room temperature and at $400^{\circ}C$ shows an excellent fracture toughness ($J_{IC}$) of about $530kJ/m^2\;and\;340kJ/m^2$, respectively.

As a case study on yttria stabilized zirconia ceramics, the sintering characteristics of submicron powders and the granulation prepared by two-fluid spray drying of submicron particles were investigated. As-received powders of yttria stabilized zirconia particles were reduced to a uniform size of less than about 200 nm by repeated milling. Granulation size obtained by the two-fluid spray drying was affected by the organic matter and the primary particle size. Sintering behavior such as porosity, water absorption ratio, density, and transparency was influenced by processing conditions of the powder, and the discontinuous interfaces in a green body were reduced.

Nowadays it is possible to make realization of Multimedia service by virtue of developing computer hardware technique and high-bandwidth network. But Multimedia service has some problems. Its file need large storage. Above all, Analog CCTV used in recent has been utilized for various purpose in ban, company and public institution, but this has many defects such as management, low resolution, and etc. To overcome this problems, multimedia component-file-have to be reduced in size. This paper proposes adaptive MPEG-1 video to reduce file size. The method in this paper is realized that according to movement variation, file size is reduced by adaptively making use of MQuant.

The effect of the foundation size on the efficiency of seismic base isolation using a layer of stone pebbles is experimentally investigated. Four scaled models of buildings with different stiffnesses (from very stiff to soft) were tested, each with the so-called small and large foundation, and exposed to four different accelerograms (different predominant periods and durations). Tests were conducted so that the strains in the model remained elastic and afterwards the models were tested until collapse. Each model was tested for the case of the foundation being supported on a rigid base and on an aseismic layer. Compared to the smaller foundation, the larger foundation results in a reduced rocking effect, higher earthquake forces and lower bearing capacity of the tested models, with respectable efficiency (reduced strain/stress, displacement and increase of the ultimate bearing capacity of the model) for the considered seismic base isolation compared to the foundation on a rigid base.

In this paper, a new size-reduction approach for branch-line coupler is introduced which uses parallel end-shorted coupled lines with lumped capacitors. The characteristic of the new design was analyzed using even-odd mode method, and simulated on HFSS before fabricated on the FR4 epoxy glass cloth copper-clad plat (CCL) PCB substrate at center frequency of 1 GHz. The electrical length of transmission line was reduced to 15 degrees, therefore the size of branch-line coupler was largely reduced approximately maintaining the same characteristic around the stable center frequency. The insertion loss of the branch-line coupler filter was -4.39 dB. The size of the overall hybrid is $20mm{\times}20mm$. Measurements results were well agreed with the simulated ones.
