  • The foreign superior players and national team players' turning phase was measured, compared and analyzed to help the representative players improve the skill of turn. The underwater video camera used to analyze and evaluate the representative players' skill of turn in detail and the result is as follows. 1. The record for the phase of turn was similar to the rank of the last record. The improvement of the skill of turn was required because Korean players' record was lower than the foreign players' one. In case of 200m events the 1st turn was the fastest and it took more time as the turn is repeated. 2. It shows that the preparation phase and turing motion cause the difference between the players and within one player. 3. The horizontal movement of center of gravity moves to turning point slowly in the preparation phase, does not move nearly in the turning phase and increase again in the propulsion phase. Good record has short time for turn phase. The result means that the shorten the turning phase is the most important factor. Therefore the preparation for this is required. The vertical movement is maintained or increase a little and then move to from the turning phase. 4. The characteristic of horizontal velocity in center of gravity is that there is any big changes at the preparation phase, the faster velocity is found from the better record and the accelerating time is fast at the propulsion phasen. The wrong motion is made by not using the swimming velocity for fuming and waiting and more time is required by this. 5. The angle of knee when the player touch the turning point is 106.22-135.56 and the maximum angle of knee during the driving after the touch of tuning point is full extension. The size of maximum angle of knee did not match with the required time of propulsion phase. It seems that the individual difference is big when the players touch the turning point the angle of knee and the research for the individual angle which can reveal the maximum power should be carried out. The national team player's skill for the him is behind the foreign players' one and a lot of problems were found. It shows that the players could not practice the skill for turn during the training. The 1st reason for it is the various facilities like underwater window or analyzing equipment like underwater camera with which the coaches can teach and correct the players' detailed skill. It is need to evaluate the players' detailed skill exactly and correct it by objective data to complete the good skill in the future. In this regard, the investment for the facility is necessary.

  • Record-keeping is one of the most fundamental practices in good farm management as it shows a systemic managerial and analytic data essential for a successful farm operation. Despite such obvious benefits in record-keeping, however, today`s farmers do not take advantage of this practice for various reasons. To make the matter worse, not much research has been done to resolve this incompatibility. Therefore, it is urgent for both the government and the farmers to come up with a better method or book of record-keeping that will show the farmers where their operation has been in the past, where it is now, and where it is heading in the future. This study will survey and analyze the current status of record-keeping practice among farmers using statistic models such as logit and ordered probit model. The results showed that the majority of the farmers lack knowledge about management record. Also, appropriate record-keeping books and related education were not available. Therefore, the government should develop and provide farmers with record-keeping books that are easy to use and at the same time giving proper education about agricultural management skills. Finally, this study suggests some improvement plans about agricultural record-keeping based on the results drawn.

  • The electronystagmography(ENG) means to measure and record CRP(Corneal-Retinal Potential) whenever the eyeball is moved by using a skin electrode stuck to the hi-temporal and the difference of CRP. Both the horizontal and vertical movement are known according to the position of the stuck skin electrode. In this paper, the variable time-constances to record the eyeball signal of the conventional EOG(Electro-Oculograph) Amplifier is chosen. The shorter the time-constance is, the worse the distortion of a signal is. But the unbalanced impedance of the electrode stuck on the hi-temporal is reduced. Also, the longer the time-constance is, the less the distortion of it signal is. But it is sensitive to the change of base line according to the unbalanced impedance. In order to solve these problems, an DC-Amplifier, the distortion of the eyeball signal is globally used. By solving unbalanced impedance problem of EOG amplifier, the distortion ratio of EOG amplifier is improved.

  • This paper develops a comparatively time-efficient methodology for performing seismic fragility analysis of the reinforced concrete (RC) buildings in the presence of uncertainty sources. It aims to appraise the effectiveness of any variation in the material's mechanical properties as epistemic uncertainty, and the record-to-record variation as aleatory uncertainty in structural response. In this respect, the fuzzy set theory, a well-known 𝛼-cut approach, and the Genetic Algorithm (GA) assess the median of collapse fragility curves as a fuzzy response. GA is requisite for searching the maxima and minima of the objective function (median fragility herein) in each membership degree, 𝛼. As this is a complicated and time-consuming process, the authors propose utilizing the Gene Expression Programming-based (GEP-based) equation for reducing the computational analysis time of the case study building significantly. The results indicate that the proposed structural analysis algorithm on the derived GEP model is able to compute the fuzzy median fragility about 33.3% faster, with errors less than 1%.

  • Recently, a topic of Archival Science can be said 'paradigm shift'. Therefore, this study aims to establish a relationship between oral record and Archival Science through concept of the archiving 'social memory' related to paradigm shift of Archival Science. In addition, an active role theory by an archivist as main agent of archival oral record management reflecting the characteristics of oral record based on this will be supported. Especially, even if it has already been handled through previous studies, it will be focused on drawing new meaning by applying creative perspective. Main content of this study is as follows. Firstly, discussion will be progressed by establishing the concept of the archiving 'social memory'. This is related to the topic of 'paradigm shift' in the Archival Science. Despite that active research has been conducted among mainly archival researchers overseas, it has not been handled yet in Korea. Therefore, this study aims to determine to organize this part as detail purpose. Secondly, the point will be progressed with a special focus on collecting and planning stages among the stages of records management. A viewpoint of the Archival Science should start from the stage of collecting and planning the previous record of production point of time, and then should be reflected for acknowledging the subsequent stages. Therefore, collecting and planning are the most important, and this is closely connected with a characteristic of oral record which production means collecting. Thirdly, the concept of 'oral record' is established with the viewpoint of the Archival Science. The various documents have been producted through oral interview has been known to many oral history researchers as 'oral source'. It aims to conceptualize them as 'oral record' with the viewpoint of the Archival Science. Fourthly, it is an establishment of meaning why oral history should be handled in the Archival Science. It is necessary to rationalize the purpose and its appropriateness handling oral history in the Archival Science. It should clarify the reason why oral history is important in the Archival Science and what it means. This will help examine the meaning of the recording of 'oral record.' A characteristic of the oral record can be effectively revealed through the recording, and ultimately, it aims to be able to shed new light on the value of oral history and oral record. Finally, it defines the role of archivist in oral history. A point that archivist in oral history is not just an assistant who organizes and preserves oral records collected by researchers will be emphasized and persuaded. In this study, oral history study in the Archival Science which has obtained appropriateness by the theoretical discussion as above should be conducted in a connection with other studies without occupying oral history by the Archival Science and in a direction of the leap of Korean oral history study. If this is possible, it will contribute to development of the Archival Science and of study area expansion, enhancement of the role and potential of archivist, at the same time, eventually it will positively influence on oral history study.

  • In the Spring of 2000, the Banking Commission of the ICC decided to appoint a working group to draft a supplement to the UCP 500 to clarify the position regarding electronic presentation under a documentary credit. Provisions was drafted to supplement its existing rules for documentary credit, that is, UCP 500. These new provisions known as Supplement to UCP 500 for Electronic Presentation was approved by the ICC Banking Commission at the beginning of November 2001 and came in force as of 1 April 2002 The eUCP covers matters such as definitions of key terms such as electronic record, electronic signature, format, paper document, received. An eUCP Credit must specify the formats in which electronic records are to be presented and if not, electronic records may be presented in any format. Electronic records may be presented separately and need not be presented at the same time. The purpose of this paper is to understand the main substance of eUCP and to facilitate the introduction of electronic letter of credit by studying the problems and revision of eUCP and new electronic UCP. The main substances of eUCP are electronic address as place for presentation of electronic records, flexibility of the formats of electronic records to be presented, endowment of the notice of completeness of presentation to the beneficiary, one electronic record satisfying one or more originals or copies of an electronic record, the electronic records to be examined including the electronic record at the hyperlink to an external system or the referenced system, no remark as to the time period for the examination of documents. The Roles of eUCP are the Promotion of the Electronic Trade, the Supply of Basis on the Uniform Rules for Electronic Letter of Credit, the introduction of Electronic Trade Model. The characteristics of eUCP are a supplement to the UCP, no address of any issues relating to the issuance or advice of Credit electronically, independence of specific technologies and developing electronic commerce system, that is, Bolero Service. The Problems of eUCP are flexibility of format of electronic record, heavy burden on the side of banks, and the problems regrading the number of presentation, the notice of completeness of presentation, no provision in regard to the time to examine the electronic records, and representation of the electronic records. In the revision of eUCP to resolve the problems, the things to be taken into consideration are as follows; the designation of the format allowing the banks to examine electronically, prohibition of the paper documents, the development of the system receiving the electronic records, the addition of the reception notice on the side of the banks, the setting of the time to examine the electronic records, the construction of the backup system or the dual processing system.
