This thesis proposed an effective encryption method for the DCT-based image/video contents and made it possible to operate in a high speed by implementing it as an optimized hardware. By considering the increase in the amount of the calculation in the image/video compression, reconstruction and encryption, an partial encryption was performed, in which only the important information (DC and DPCM coefficients) were selected as the data to be encrypted. As the result, the encryption cost decreased when all the original image was encrypted. As the encryption algorithm one of the multi-mode AES, DES, or SEED can be used. The proposed encryption method was implemented in software to be experimented with TM-5 for about 1,000 test images. From the result, it was verified that to induce the original image from the encrypted one is not possible. At that situation, the decrease in compression ratio was only $1.6\%$. The hardware encryption system implemented in Verilog-HDL was synthesized to find the gate-level circuit in the SynopsysTM design compiler with the Hynix $0.25{\mu}m$ CMOS Phantom-cell library. Timing simulation was performed by Verilog-XL from CadenceTM, which resulted in the stable operation in the frequency above 100MHz. Accordingly, the proposed encryption method and the implemented hardware are expected to be effectively used as a good solution for the end-to-end security which is considered as one of the important problems.
The occurrence of nuclear inclusions has been reported in various plant groups from primitive ferns to higher flowering plants. Their presence within a group seems to be randomly distributed without any phylogenetic relationships among species. According to the current survey, nuclear inclusions have been widely documented in more than several hundreds of species from various families of plants. The morphology and internal structures of nuclear inclusions are diverse and at least five types of inclusions develop within plant nuclei; amorphous, crystalline, fibrous, lamellar, and tubular form. Among these types, crystalline inclusions are the ones that are the most frequently reported. The inclusions are not bound by membranes and appear to be related to the nucleoli, either spatially by a close association or by an inverse relationship in size during development. The idea that nuclear inclusions are of a proteinaceous nature has been widely accepted. Further link to nucleolar activity as a protein storing site has also been suggested based on the association between the nucleolus and nuclear inclusions. Various investigations of nuclear inclusions have revealed more information about their structural features, but characterizing their precise function and subunit complexity employing molecular analysis and 3-D reconstruction remains to be elucidated. Tilting and tomography of serial sections with appropriate image processing can provide valuable information on their subunit(s). The present review summarizes discussion about different nuclear inclusions in plants from previous works, giving special attention to their fine, ultrastructural morphology, function, and origin.
Cancer is a disease that threatens the individual's life. This is why the cancer patient goes through psychosocial pain in the form of a trauma. Thus, the previous researches have only focused on the cancer patient's psychosocial distress. However, the cancer patients who have grown more mature and brought upon positive changes in their lives have been clinically observed. Because of this, researches regarding the ways that social welfare can intervene in order to examine the cancer patients' positive changes and growth which breaks away from the previous pathological point of view of the cancer patients are being actively conducted in other countries. But it turns out that there aren't enough basic researches related to this topic and thereby the need to lay out the basis for social welfare intervention. Therefore, this research examines positive changes and growth that may result from the traumatic experience of having a cancer. The predictable factors regarding this are analyzed in order to provide the basic information that may promote clinical intervention for cancer patient's posttraumatic growth. For this, the information from 206 cancer patients who have agreed to participate in the research have been used to predict and evaluate the predictable factors for the cancer patient's post-traumatic growth and hierarchy multiple regression haven been analyzed. As the result of the research, main factor of the post-traumatic growth is found to be social support and coping. The positive reconstruction of coping has been discovered to be the strongest predictable factor for cancer patient's posttraumatic growth. Based on this result, the advice for further research and implications for social welfare have been given.
A multicast tree includes several, possibly a large number of, paths connecting source-receiver pairs, and network failure may disable part of the multicast tree. Reconstruction of the entire multicast tree to recover from a component failure is highly undesirable, because some group members have to suffer service disruptions even though the communication paths to/from them are not affected by the failure. To limit reconfiguration region and to maximize the likelihood of successful reconfiguration, we propose and evaluate a pre-planned reconfiguration policy for QoS multicast sessions. Specifically, we equip a reconfiguration path (RP) with each end-to-end path that connects a source-receiver pair in the multicast tree, and reserve resources in advance along the RPs. Efficient resource-sharing techniques are applied to reduce the amount of resources reserved for RPs but not used in the absence of failures. This way, we prevent uncontrolled competition among different multicast sessions which may simultaneously try to recover from failures. We evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme using simulation on randomly-generated networks. We use the shortest-path routing for QoS multicast sessions, and simulate both source-based and shared multicast trees. The evaluation results indicates that successful pre-planned reconfiguration can be achieved for all group members with reasonable overhead. Our scheme is also shown to adapt well to dynamic changes of group membership.

In this paper, we proposed a new technique to encode and decode the digital hologram. Since the digital hologram (or fringe pattern) is generated by interference of light, it has much different property from natural 2D (2 dimensional) images. First, we acquisite optical-sensed or computer-generated hologram by digital type, and then extract a chrominance component. The extracted digital hologram for coding is separated into segments to use multi-view properties. The segmented hologram shows the similar characteristics with picturing an object with 2D cameras in various point of view. Since fringe pattern is visually observed like as noise, we expect that the fringe pattern has poor coding efficiency. To obtain high efficiency, the segment is transformed with DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) which resembles hologram generation process with high performance. Each transformed segment passes the 3D scanning process according to time and spatial correlation, and is organized into a video stream. Since the segment which correspond to frame of a video stream consists of the transformed coefficients with wide range of value, it is classified and re-normalized. Finally it is compressed with coding tools. The proposed algorithm illustrated that it has better properties for reconstruction of 16 times higher compression rate than the previous researches.

This paper proposes a new technique for calibrating a multi-view RGB-D camera using a 3D (dimensional) skeleton. In order to calibrate a multi-view camera, consistent feature points are required. In addition, it is necessary to acquire accurate feature points in order to obtain a high-accuracy calibration result. We use the human skeleton as a feature point to calibrate a multi-view camera. The human skeleton can be easily obtained using state-of-the-art pose estimation algorithms. We propose an RGB-D-based calibration algorithm that uses the joint coordinates of the 3D skeleton obtained through the posture estimation algorithm as a feature point. Since the human body information captured by the multi-view camera may be incomplete, the skeleton predicted based on the image information acquired through it may be incomplete. After efficiently integrating a large number of incomplete skeletons into one skeleton, multi-view cameras can be calibrated by using the integrated skeleton to obtain a camera transformation matrix. In order to increase the accuracy of the calibration, multiple skeletons are used for optimization through temporal iterations. We demonstrate through experiments that a multi-view camera can be calibrated using a large number of incomplete skeletons.

In this paper, we present an audio stream delivery using the AMR (Adaptive Multi-Rate) coder that was adopted by ETSI and 3GPP as a standard vocoder for next generation IMT-2000 service in which includes combined sender (FEC) and receiver reconstruction technique in the Internet. By use of the media-specific FEC scheme, the possibility to recover lost packets can be much increased due to the addition of repair data to a main data stream, by which the contents of lost packets can be recovered. The AMR codec is based on the code-excited linear predictive (CELP) coding model. So we use a frame erasure concealment for CELP-based coders. The proposed scheme is evaluated with ITU-T G.729 (CS-ACELP) coder and AMR - 12.2 kbit/s through the SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) and the MOS (Mean Opinion Score) test. The proposed scheme provides 1.1 higher in Mean Opinion Score value and 5.61 dB higher than AMR - 12.2 kbit/s in terms of SNR in 10% packet loss, and maintains the communicab1e quality speech at frame erasure rates lop to 20%.

The purpose of LiDAR ground classification is to archive both goals which are acquiring confident ground points with high precision and describing ground shape in detail. In spite of many studies about developing optimized algorithms to kick out this, it is very difficult to classify ground points and describing ground shape by airborne LiDAR data. Especially it is more difficult in a dense forested area like Korea. Principle misclassification was mainly caused by complex forest canopy hierarchy in Korea and relatively coarse LiDAR points density for ground classification. Unfortunately, a lot of LiDAR surveying performed in summer in South Korea. And by that reason, schematic LiDAR points distribution is very different from those of Europe. So, this study propose enhanced ground classification method considering Korean land cover characteristics. Firstly, this study designate highly confident candidated LiDAR points as a first ground points which is acquired by using big roller classification algorithm. Secondly, this study applied weighted gradient kernel(WGK) algorithm to find and include highly expected ground points from the remained candidate points. This study methods is very useful for reconstruct deformed terrain due to misclassification results by detecting and include important terrain model key points for describing ground shape at site. Especially in the case of deformed bank side of river area, this study showed highly enhanced classification and reconstruction results by using WGK algorithm.

In this paper, the multi-camera calibration algorithm for optical motion capture system is proposed. This algorithm performs 1st camera calibration using DLT(Direct linear transformation} method and 3-axis calibration frame with 7 optical markers. And 2nd calibration is performed by waving with a wand of known length(so called wand dance} throughout desired calibration volume. In the 1st camera calibration, it is obtained not only camera parameter but also radial lens distortion parameters. These parameters are used initial solution for optimization in the 2nd camera calibration. In the 2nd camera calibration, the optimization is performed. The objective function is to minimize the difference of distance between real markers and reconstructed markers. For verification of the proposed algorithm, re-projection errors are calculated and the distance among markers in the 3-axis frame and in the wand calculated. And then it compares the proposed algorithm with commercial motion capture system. In the 3D reconstruction error of 3-axis frame, average error presents 1.7042mm(commercial system) and 0.8765mm(proposed algorithm). Average error reduces to 51.4 percent in commercial system. In the distance between markers in the wand, the average error shows 1.8897mm in the commercial system and 2.0183mm in the proposed algorithm.

Purpose: The radiochromic film (Gafchromic EBT3, Ashland Advanced Materials, USA) and 3-dimensional analysis system dosimetry checkTM (DC, MathResolutions, USA) were evaluated for patient-specific quality assurance (QA) of helical tomotherapy. Materials and Methods: Depending on the tumors' positions, three types of targets, which are the abdominal tumor (130.6㎤), retroperitoneal tumor (849.0㎤), and the whole abdominal metastasis tumor (3131.0㎤) applied to the humanoid phantom (Anderson Rando Phantom, USA). We established a total of 12 comparative treatment plans by the four geometric conditions of the beam irradiation, which are the different field widths (FW) of 2.5-cm, 5.0-cm, and pitches of 0.287, 0.43. Ionization measurements (1D) with EBT3 by inserting the cheese phantom (2D) were compared to DC measurements of the 3D dose reconstruction on CT images from beam fluence log information. For the clinical feasibility evaluation of the DC, dose reconstruction has been performed using the same cheese phantom with the EBT3 method. Recalculated dose distributions revealed the dose error information during the actual irradiation on the same CT images quantitatively compared to the treatment plan. The Thread effect, which might appear in the Helical Tomotherapy, was analyzed by ripple amplitude (%). We also performed gamma index analysis (DD: 3mm/ DTA: 3%, pass threshold limit: 95%) for pattern check of the dose distribution. Results: Ripple amplitude measurement resulted in the highest average of 23.1% in the peritoneum tumor. In the radiochromic film analysis, the absolute dose was on average 0.9±0.4%, and gamma index analysis was on average 96.4±2.2% (Passing rate: >95%), which could be limited to the large target sizes such as the whole abdominal metastasis tumor. In the DC analysis with the humanoid phantom for FW of 5.0-cm, the three regions' average was 91.8±6.4% in the 2D and 3D plan. The three planes (axial, coronal, and sagittal) and dose profile could be analyzed with the entire peritoneum tumor and the whole abdominal metastasis target, with planned dose distributions. The dose errors based on the dose-volume histogram in the DC evaluations increased depending on FW and pitch. Conclusion: The DC method could implement a dose error analysis on the 3D patient image data by the measured beam fluence log information only without any dosimetry tools for patient-specific quality assurance. Also, there may be no limit to apply for the tumor location and size; therefore, the DC could be useful in patient-specific QAl during the treatment of Helical Tomotherapy of large and irregular tumors.
