This study was carried out to present a co-brand strategies of medical equipment manufacturers in Wonju city. Based on the result of the analysis, followings were proposed. First, an adequate education and a publicity for the importance of a co-brand are required, and it needs to reinforce the recognition on quality differentiation through a technology development and the importance of quality control. Second, establishing a system to secure the brand reliability and operating a program to monitor the technology development and quality are required. Third, it needs to implement a joint participation with priority for establishing a sales network, advertize and a publicity. Fourth, an alternative may needed in order to maximize the synergy effect of the co-brand project and minimize any possible conflicts among participants. Fifth, securing a reliability is needed to acquire the ability to manage the brand and derive member's active participation.

The aim of this study was to survey the recognition and utilization of traditional medicine among the clinical doctors who working at traditional medicine hospital in Vietnam. The survey was conducted for 3month from September to November, 2012. As a result, the highest recognized traditional medicine was acupuncture(91.4%) and herbal medicine(86.1%). Almost of respondents had ever used acupuncture(99.4%), massage or acupressure(97.6%) and herbal medicine(95.3%) in daily clinical practice. And commonly treated health problem was neurological and psychological disease(23.5%). The most used diagnostic methods were tongue diagnosis and pulse diagnosis(97.6%). This survey will help to explore the point of contact between the traditional medicine of Vietnam and Korea. This survey results could be used as basic materials to actively approach traditional medical markets through international exchange and cooperation in the future.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the vocational rehabilitation service environment of the mentally facilities. Focus group interview (FGI) was conducted for obtain the data. According to the interview results, first, in providing vocational rehabilitation services for people with mental illness, comprehensive services should be provided considering various needs. Second, the facilities are not recognized as vocational rehabilitation facilities for people with disabilities. Therefore, it is operated according to the regulations on mental rehabilitation facilities in the Mental Health Welfare Act. Third, they need management supports. Finally, It raised the necessity of revising laws and systems that are not systematized without reflecting reality. Based on the results of this study, some suggestions are presented.

The recent frequent cases of damage due to leakage of medical data and the privacy of medical patients is increasing day by day. The government says the Privacy Rule regulations established for these victims, such as prevention. Medical data guidelines can be seen 'national medical privacy guidelines' is only released. When replacing the image data between the institutions it has been included in the image file (JPG, JPEG, TIFF) there is exchange of data in common formats such as being made when the file is leaked to an external file there is a risk that the exposure key identification information of the patient. This medial image file has no protection such as encryption, This this paper, introduces a masking technique using a mosaic technique encrypting the image file contains the application to optical character recognition techniques. We propose pseudonymization technique of personal information in the image data.

The purpose of this study is to understand social exclusion experiences with the disabled through a biographical study. It is analysed the interview date conducting an interview about 10 focused on the physical and cerebral palsy disabled with social exclusion experiences. The results show that it is multi-social exclusion including the inequality of approach opportunity of education, labor, education, medical, social participation, information, social service, space, health etc. It shows their life neglected and marginalized resulted from not providing social right as citizenship. And their social relationship is isolated by social exclusion and Other-directed identity is to be shaped in accordance to the method to define as regulated social ideals. Also, there is their painful and heavy life bound with double risky factors of disability and poverty. They share common historical experiences and social events impacted on their recognition and value among participants generation in biographical narrative. On the other hand, their life is reconstructed according to each their resource and standard to interpreter and evaluate on it. It suggests political and clinical implications in order to overcome the disabled's social exclusion, which is based on practical and vivid experiential dates from the participants.

This study analyzed the recent serious disaster cases of chemical extinguishing agent poisoning and suffocation investigated by KOSHA and proposed the safe use of chemical substances, including the chemical extinguishing agent. An analysis of the statistical figures an increase in the number and variations of chemical poisoning and suffocation cases in industry between 2011~2016 increased. Unlike other physical accidents, chemical accidents are very high in severity and it is difficult to identify the chemical hazard and risk. To prevent chemical disasters, it is essential to develop and use an easy chemical risk assessment tool. For the safe use of chemical substances, in which it is difficult to carry out hazard identification and risk assessments, this thesis presents the useful chemical recognition and risk assessment tools, CHEM-i and CHARM developed by KOSHA.

Kimchi is a traditional food in Korea and its function in health is globally recognized. However, as the westernization and simplification of dietary habits, kimchi consumption has decreased. In order to promote Kimchi consumption in children, the kimchi educational contents, "Exploring Kimchi", which employs the scientific experimental activity, was developed. This contents was evaluated on its educational effect through a test trial in an elementary school. A total of 137 5th grade students in one elementary school located in Gwangju Metropolitan City, participated in 3 programs that were carried out for 3 weeks and performed a pre-post survey. As a result, the Kimchi Experience Contents employing the scientific experimental activity showed statistically significant positive effects regarding the benefits of Kimchi consumption, the recognition behavior for expressing the familiarity to Kimchi and Kimchi eating intention. In addition, the amount of Kimchi consumption after applying the contents showed a significant increase compared to before applying the contents.

With mobile computing, wireless sensor network and sensor technologies, ubiquitous computing services are being realized and could satisfy the feasibility of ubiquitous healthcare to everyone. This u-Healthcare service can improve life quality of human since medical service can be provided to anyone, anytime, and anywhere. To confirm the vision of u-Healthcare service, we've implemented a healthcare system for heart disease patient which is composed of two components. Front-end collects various signals such as temperature, blood pressure, SpO2, and electrocardiogram, etc. As a backend, medical information server accumulates sensing data and performs back-end processing. To simply transfer these sensing values to a medical team may be too trivial. So, we've designed a model based on context awareness for more improved medical service which is based on artificial neural network. Through rigid experiments, we could confirm that the proposed system can provide improved medical service.

As the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and big data have received a lot of attention as key growth engines in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, data acquisition and utilization in mobile, automotive, robotics, manufacturing, agriculture, health care and national defense are becoming more important. Due to numerous data-based industrial changes, demand for sensor technologies is exploding, especially for intelligent sensor technologies that combine control, judgement, storage and communication functions with the sensors's own functions. Intelligent sensor technology can be defined as a convergence component technology that combines intelligent sensor units, intelligent algorithms, modules with signal processing circuits, and integrated plaform technologies. Intelligent sensor technology, which can be applied to variety of smart IT convergence services such as smart devices, smart homes, smart cars, smart factory, smart cities, and others, is evolving towards intelligent and convergence technologies that produce new high-value information through recognition, reasoning, and judgement based on artificial intelligence. As a result, development of intelligent sensor units is accelerating with strategies for miniaturization, low-power consumption and convergence, new form factor such as flexible and stretchable form, and integration of high-resolution sensor arrays. In the future, these intelligent sensor technologies will lead explosive sensor industries in the era of data-based artificial intelligence and will greatly contribute to enhancing nation's competitiveness in the global sensor market. In this report, we analyze and summarize the recent trends in intelligent sensor technologies, especially those for four core technologies.

Although there are many positive sides of the current fee-for-service payment schedule, there is a strong necessity to control the rapidly increasing national healthcare expenditure. The global budget is often mentioned as one prominent alternative for solutions. In this article, both microscopic and macroscopic approaches are considered to set the hospital medical expenditure budget. In a macroscopic aspect, the SGR model, which considers the financial limit of the healthcare system, is used to set the next year target budget. In addition, the DEA model is used to measure the inefficiency and cost recognition. In this article, the national medical target expenditure is distributed to an individual hospital based on the level of efficiency. By combining the SGR and DEA, it will be possible to set a real world applicable target medical expenditure budget model.
