  • The rapid development of computing and network environment has brought about the potential vulnerability. Therefore the damage from this vulnerability like Worm, hacking increases continually. In order to resolve this problem, implement the analysis system for mischievous traffic for defending new types of attack and analyzing the traffic takes a real-time action against intrusion and harmful information packet.

  • According to the development of B-ISDN on ATM network, the uses of Multimedia service is growing. Although ABR service uses the network resource most effectively because it is able to change the transfer rate, it is not used for multimedia service until recently. In this paper, we set priority queue and non-priority queue in the ATM switch and each queue has threshold so is can be adopted in different transfer rate method. We propose the real-time traffic transfer method over ABR service based on an effective traffic control method.

  • This paper deals with an architecture of network-based control system using the CAN(Controller Area Network) protocol and its traffic analysis. It is difficult to determine an optimal network-based control architecture for a specific AGV(Autonomous Guided Vehicle) system with a manipulator arm. The fixed number of periodic messages to be occurred is pre-defined in the system. To determine whether the proposed system architecture is effective or not, we perform traffic analysis for the real-time communication of all messages. Through simulations, the range of transmission speed is found satisfying required conditions and the permissible number of additional sensors is investigated for improving the system performance, when the sampling periods of analog sensors are determined under fixed condition that the transmission speed is over 500Kbps.

  • In this paper proposed a HMM(Hidden Martov Model)-based segmentation method which is able to model shadows as well as foreground and background regions. Shadow of moving objects often obstruct visual tracking. We propose an HMM-based segmentation method which classifies in real time oath objects. In the case of traffic monitoring movies, the effectiveness of the proposed method has been proven through experimental results

  • In this paper, the authors present a row dynamic route planning by Q-learning. The proposed algorithm is executed in a cellular automation based traffic simulator, which is also newly created. In Vehicle Information and Communication System(VICS), which is an active field of Intelligent Transport System(ITS), information of traffic congestion is sent to each vehicle at real time. However, a centralized navigation system is not realistic to guide millions of vehicles in a megalopolis. Autonomous distributed systems should be more flexible and scalable, and also have a chance to focus on each vehicles demand. In such systems, each vehicle can search an own optimal route. We employ Q-learning of the reinforcement learning method to search an optimal or sub-optimal route, in which route drivers can avoid traffic congestions.   • In this paper we propose the network traffic monitoring system that can supported network and system operation, management, expansion, and design using network analysis and diagnosis to a network administrator. The proposed system consists of two parts: analysis server for collection and analysis of the network information. and supports real-time monitoring of network traffic, and client system shows user a graphical data that analyzed a returned result from the server This system implements web-based technology using java and contributes to enhance the effectiveness of network administrator's management.

  • The method of connection admission control is presented by using the equations related with traffic classes for real-time connection admission control. without assuming the cell arrival processes in the multi-level structure of ATM traffic control. The equations related with traffic classes are obtained by 3 or 4 of first order inequalities from the admissible ranges of connection considering the expected total instantaneous demand to guarantee the required quality of services of each class.

  • Based on a complete understanding research in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the Intelligent Transport Systems rapidly build up innovative applications to ensure real time attainment as well remote management of driven information, provide a huge range of services and involve many actors in automotive ecosystem. In this paper, we present an intelligent cloud computing for handling data received from traffic sensing technologies. Transportations technologies applied in ITS have played a great role in collecting data from devices deployed in vehicles and highway infrastructures utilizing broadband wireless technologies to the Cloud. In order to facilitate the interested in automotive industry to use data collected and afford services to the car's owner, a scalable acquisition, access to computing resources and offered services are the primary goal of the proposed cloud computing.

  • 네트워크의 효율적인 관리를 위해서는 네트워크의 각 호스트에서 발생하는 트래픽을 실시간으로 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 이러한 모니터링의 효율적인 방법 중 하나가 네트워크 장비에서 제공하는 flow 정보를 이용하는 방법이다. 하지만 이는 네트워크 장비의 과부하 발생, 운용비용 상승, 유연성 및 확장성 부족의 단점을 가진다. 이를 극복하기위하여 본 논문에서는 Enterprise 네트워크에 적합한 Flow 기반 실시간 트래픽 모니터링 시스템의 구조를 제안하고, 검증을 위해 구현한 내용을 기술한다. 본 시스템은 패킷을 수집하여 실시간으로 flow 정보를 생성하고 저장하는 Flow Generator 시스템, 저장된 flow 정보를 Analysis 시스템으로 전송하는 Flow Exporter 시스템, Traffic Analysis 시스템, 그리고 분석된 내용을 보여주는 Traffic Reporter 시스템으로 구성된다. 본 시스템은 다양한 분석 목적에 맞게 Flow 정보를 조절할 수 있는 유연성과 다양한 분석시스템을 구축할 수 있는 확장성을 가진다. 본 논문에서 기술한 시스템은 학교 Campus 네트워크를 대상으로 구축되었다.

Improvement of Representative Value through Comparison of the Reliability of point detector : focusing on traffic volume (지점검지기 신뢰도 비교를 통한 대표치 생성 개선방안 : 구간 교통량을 중심으로)

  • With the increase in image detectors, concerns about the reliability of traffic information are increasing. In this paper, we propose a method to generate reliable traffic volume using analysis of the point detector data as a representative value. Therefore, targeting expressway, we analyzed the difference in traffic volume collected by loop and image detector, and verified statistically using t-test, and finally analyzed the error rate compare to the real traffic volume. Analysis revealed that there was a statistically difference the traffic date collected by the loop detector and the image detector, in the same period, the same time, respectively. In addition, the difference between the actual traffic volume and traffic that have been collected in a loop detector was the lowest Therefore, creating a traffic volume of representative value, we proposed a method to use loop detector than the average traffic volume collected by each detector. It shows that it is more important to use one high-quality data rather than various low-quality data to produce a representative value.
