A study on storing a XML/EDI document with XLink (XLink를 이용한 XML/EDI 문서의 저장에 관한 연구)

  • 전통 EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) 문서는 VAN(Value Added Network) 전용망을 통하여 EDI 서비스를 하였다. 하지만, 이것은 실시간(real-time)으로 문서를 처리하는 방식보다 주로 배치(batch)방식으로 한꺼번에 문서를 처리하였으며 전용 소프트웨 어를 사용함으로써 새로운 문서를 처리할때마다 새 문서에 대한 정보를 등록하고 소프트웨어를 다시 설치 해야하는 불편함도 있었다. 기존의 전통 EDI 문서는 VAN을 통하여 처리하는 방식이었으나 현재는 인터넷에서 EDI 문서를 볼 수 있도록 하기 위해 XML(extensible Markup Language)을 이용하고 있다. 인터넷기반의 웹 브라우저 상에서 볼 수 있는 XML/EDI 구현에 힘입어 여러 문서로 분리되어진 EDI 문서를 XLink의 개념을 이용하여 문서의 삽입, 삭제 기능과 이러한 문서를 통합하여 하나의 문서로 데이터베이스에 저장할 수 있는 방법에 관하여 연구하고자 한다.

  • The Aim of this development is the safety management network of embankment facilities using forecasting analysis algorism. Using this algorithm it is possible to predict a failure of embankment facilities in advance. therefore, it is necessary for making plans of a safety countermove. In this development we have researched the analysis method which could operate effectively the embankment facilities using real-time monitoring data from a remote sensing system and the safety managerial program using the algorithm from the analysis method developed.

  • MMI 시스템은 제철 공정에서 발생되는 다양한 데이터를 조업자에게 쉽고 빠르게 전달하기 위해, real time operating system에서 동작하는 제철공정의 주된 제어 프로세스와 인터페이스 한다. 따라서 MMI 시스템은 제철 공정의 주된 제어 프로세스와 ethernet network을 통해 공유 데이터들을 통신하도록 개발되고, MMI 시스템은 M/S window operating system과 DDE(Dynamic Data Exchange) 라이브러리 환경을 기반으로 개발된다. 수 개의 MMI client PC와 1 개의 MMI server로 구성되는 MMI 시스템은 MMI client들 사이의 공유 데이터가 동기화될 수 있도록 최적 packet 양을 도출하고, 신뢰성 높은 데이터 전송을 위한 특별한 데이터 핸들링 방법을 사용한다. MMI 시스템은 GUI(Graphic User Interface)를 사용하여 조업자에게 친숙한 window 화면을 제공하므로, MMI 시스템의 화면 수정, 첨가 및 삭제가 비용 부담없이 용이하게 진행되므로, 기존 제철 공정에서 사용하던 OCP(Operating Control Panel)들이 MMI 시스템으로 대체되고 있다.

  • New modular Lateral Information Propagation Networks(LIPN) has been designed. The LIPN has shown to be useful for interpolation of information[3]. The problem is the fact that only the small number of nodes can be implemented in a IC chip with the circuit VLSI technology. The proposed modular architecture is for enlarging the neural network through inter module connections. For such inter module connections, the host(computer or logic) mediates the exchange of information among modules. Also border nodes in each module have capacitors for temporarily retaining the information from outer modules. Simulation of interpolation with the designed LIPN has been done through various experiments.

  • This paper presents the new method of a nondestructive spot welding state inspection system using neural networks. The learning process of neural networks makes the inspection system to adapt the variable welding parameters. The inspecting process is working with on-line real-time after off-line learning process. This neural network based inspection system shows reliable results through the field test for variations of applied voltages, currents, and contact area of the welding electrode.

Construction of Spatiotemporal Big Data Using Environmental Impact Assessment Information

  • In this study, the information from environmental impact statements was converted into spatial data because environmental data from development sites are collected during the environmental impact assessment (EIA) process. Spatiotemporal big data were built from environmental spatial data for each environmental medium for 2,235 development sites during 2007-2018, available from public data portals. Comparing air-quality monitoring stations, 33,863 measurement points were constructed, which is approximately 75 times more measurement points than that 452 in Air Korea's real-time measurement network. Here, spatiotemporal big data from 2,677,260 EIAs were constructed. In the future, such data might be used not only for EIAs but also for various spatial plans.

ANN-based Evaluation Model of Combat Situation to predict the Progress of Simulated Combat Training

  • There are lots of combined battlefield elements which complete the war. It looks problematic when collecting and analyzing these elements and then predicting the situation of war. Commander's experience and military power assessment have widely been used to come up with these problems, then simulated combat training program recently supplements the war-game models through recording real-time simulated combat data. Nevertheless, there are challenges to assess winning factors of combat. In this paper, we characterize the combat element (ce) by clustering simulated combat data, and then suggest multi-layered artificial neural network (ANN) model, which can comprehend non-linear, cross-connected effects among ces to assess mission completion degree (MCD). Through our ANN model, we have the chance of analyzing and predicting winning factors. Experimental results show that our ANN model can explain MCDs through networking ces which overperform multiple linear regression model. Moreover, sensitivity analysis of ces will be the basis of predicting combat situation.

  • As information technology has been rapidly developed, it is expected that the needs of ubiquitous for information on construction, maintenance and operational processes in railway field will arise. U-Rail system, for which information ubiquitous in railway field, can be defined as the human centered future railway system that enables to perform real-time state indication and auto information generation and its transmission by interchanging information organically among railway suppliers, users, and operator. In this paper, we analyzed main components of U-Rail system and its service items from the view of information technology and communication network technology, with focusing on railway field.

  • It is often necessary to observe the working environment of a robot to control it efficiently in the remote location. The remote sensing data and control commands are transmitted via various media such as radio, microwave, and computer network. The World Wide Web can be used as the infrastructure for teleoperation of mobile robots. In this paper we propose an advanced technique of the remote control of mobile robots on the web. For the real-time control, the image separation algorithm is proposed to transmit the current positions of mobile robots instead of transmitting the full frame image. It is shown by experiments that the proposed algorithm is effective.
