기포탑반응기에서 연속공정을 이용한 PZT 분말의 합성 (The Synthesis of PZT Using Continuous Process in a Bubble Column Reactor)

  • A synthesis process for PZT powder using $NH_{3}$ gas as a precipitator in a bubble column reactor was experimentally successful in develope a production process of piezoelectric ceramic PZT powder. Also as a reaction by coprecipitation, the crystalized PZT ceramic powder at the condition of over pH 9 could be attained. The time needed for reaction on the condition of $NH_{3}$ gas flow rate = 0.5 1/min, Ar gas flow rate = 2.0 1/min. Feed flow rate = 2.33 ml/sec was less than five minutes, so it could synthesize PZT powder for such a few moments. And the synthesized PZT powder was $0.17{\mu}m$ in diameter on an average.

  • Since the 1930's, a rapid development of resin processing has contributed to making our clothing life convenient and rich. Wrinkle considered as the largest defect of cellulose fiber is generated from fixation of molecules which are divided by compression or crookedness. It can be protected by building a bridge between the molecules the joint combination of the inside of the fiber. The formaldehyde reactive resin which is used in processing resin is a chemical compound with more than 2 N-methylol or N-alkoxymethylol group and a chemical compound with N-methylol shows the property of W.W and D.P through the very complex bridge-bonding reaction under the OH group of cellulose and acid catalyst. However, if the processing is excessively carried out, resin-processed textile emits the formaldehyde when the bridge bonding agent reacts to amine type under the acid condition or the formaldehyde remains in the condition of non-reaction or the resin combinates by itself, or the methylol group of non-reactive resin is hydrolyzed due to the insufficient themomagnetic treatment.

  • An experiment was carried out to confirm the validity of time series evaluation of supersonic mixing condition by using catalytic reaction on a platinum wire. Geseous hydrogen was injected parallel to supersonic freestream (M$\infty$ $\approx$ 1.81) from a slit injector, which was located at backward facing step. Time series condition of supersonic mixing was evaluated by using W-type probe which has a platinum wire and reference wire (nickel wire). The evaluation was by simultaneously measuring each electric circuit which kept the temperature of wire constant. Investigations were also conducted for helium, air and no secondary injectant cases to compare with the hydrogen injectant case. The results indicated that it was possible to measure the time series behavior of air and hydrogen supersonic mixing layer or coherent motion of turbulence by using this evaluation.

  • ${\circ}C$ 범위에서 아연과 망간촉매를 사용하여 에스테르 교환반응시켜 반응속도를 살펴보았다. 반응은 반회분식 반응기에서 비등온 조건으로 진행되었고 반응온도와 메탄올 유출량으로 반응성을 평가하였다. 반응모델로서는 관능기 모델과 분자종 모델을 적용하여 상호 비교하였다. 아연촉매를 사용할 경우 DMN과 EG의 반응속도는 methyl hydroxyethyl naphthalate(MHEN)와 EG의 반응속도에 비해 1.4배정도 였으나 망간촉매를 사용할 경우 4.3배정도로 촉매 종류에 따라 반응성이 크게 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 아연촉매의 경우 DMN 및 MHEN과 EG의 반응에 대한 촉매농도의 반응차수는 1보다 작았으나, 망간촉매의 경우 오히려 1보다 컸다. 활성화에너지는 DMN과 MHEN의 분자종 차이에 관계없이 아연과 망간촉매의 경우 각각 25000, 28750 cal/mol이었다. 두 가지 반응모델을 비교하여 본 결과 분자종 모델이 반응현상을 잘 표현함을 알 수 있었다.

수열반응에 의한 Hydroxyapatite 초미분말의 제조 (Synthesis of Ultra-fine Hydroxyapatite Powders by Hydrothermal Reaction)

  • Ultra-fine hydroxyapatite powders were synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction of Ca(OH)2 suspension or Ca(NO3)2$.$4H2O solution with (NH4)2HPO4 solution, and the powders were characterized for each synthetic condition. Crystalline hydroxyapatite powders have average grain size of less than 50 nm. By increasing the reaction pressure, the crystallinity was improved, and the crystals were preferentially growing along c-axis. When Ca(NO3)2$.$4H2O of high solubility was used, hydroxyapatite of single phase was produced. However when Ca(OH)2 of low solubility was used more than 0.334 mol/ι, unreacted Ca(OH)2 remained. Diffraction spot patterns of transmission electron microscope show that powders synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction were composed of single crystals of hexagonal phase.

폐석고 침전제를 이용한 불소폐수 처리특성 (Treatment Characteristics of Fluoride Wastewater by Waste Gypsum as a Precipitant)

  • The features of precipitating reaction of fluoride have been examined by employing waste gypsum as a precipitant. The major component of waste gypsum was examined to be CaO with minor components of $SO_3$, $SiO_2$. In the experimental condition, the precipitating reaction of fluoride progressed rapidly within a few minutes after the reaction started and reached its equilibrium in 10 minutes. Kinetic analysis showed that the precipitating reaction of fluoride generally followed a first Oder and second Oder with decreasing rate constant with the initial dosage of precipitant. XRD analysis showed that the crystalline structure of precipitate was mainly $CaF_2$ with partly $Ca_5(PO_4)_3(OH)$.

메탄-공기 예혼합기의 열면점화에 미치는 촉매반응 및 자연대류의 영향 (Effects of Catalytic Reaction and Natural Convection on the Hot Surface Ignition of Methane-Air Mixtures)

  • In this study, the experimental and numerical investigations of the ignition of methane-air mixtures by a electrically heated wire have been carried out. In order to define the initial condition and make the analysis simple, the following control unit was developed; which heats the wire to the setting temperature in a very short time, and maintains the wire temperature constant until ignition. Experiments with the feedback control have been performed using nickel and platinum wires in normal gravity and microgravity. From experimental results, ignition temperatures in normal gravity are higher than those in microgravity, however, the dependences of ignition temperature on equivalence ratio are not affected by natural convection. Numerical calculations, including catalytic reaction for platinum, have been performed to analyze the experimental results in microgravity. Numerical results show that reactants near platinum wire are consumed by catalytic reaction, therefore, the higher temperature is needed to ignite the mixture with platinum wire.

  • End-gas temperatures were measured using CARS technique in a conventional DOHC spark-ignition engine fueled with PRF80. The measured pressure data were analyzed using band pass filter method. The measured CARS temperatures were compared with adiabatic core temperatures calculated from measured pressure. Significant heating by pre-flame reaction in the end gas was observed in the late part of compression stroke under both knocking and non-knocking condition. CARS temperatures measured at 10 crank angle degree before knock occurrence was higher than adiabatic core temperatures. These results indicate that there exist some exothermic reactions in low pressure and temperature region. CARS temperatures began to be higher than the adiabatic core temperature when the end-gas temperatures reached 700 K. The temperature elevation due to the pre-flame reaction correlated better with CARS temperature than with cylinder pressure.

  • In this work, we had synthesis the GaN powder by direct reaction between Ga and NH$_3$at the temperature range of 1000∼1150$^{\circ}C$, and investigated the reaction condition dependence of the GaN yield and some properties of GaN powder. The synthesized powder had Platelet and prismatic shape and showed hexagonal crystalline structure with the lattice constants of a= 3.1895 ${\AA}$, c= 5.18394 ${\AA}$, and the ratio of c/a = 1.6253. The GaN powder synthesis processes were examined based on the oxidation process of mater, and found as combined with mass transport process for the initial stage and diffusion-limited reaction for the extended reaction.
