Computer and communication network of the future will be the ISDN that enable various services. And now, it Is very Important to study the relevalent techniques to develop Interworking methods between existing computer network and ISDN The purpose of this paper Is to provide necessary basic He search results on the Interworkting method between local area network (LAN) and ISDN. For Interworking, we analyze the characteristic of existing LAN and ISDN and discuss considerations of Interworking and suggest the interworking method for CO and CL services. Also. we construct logical gateway for Interworking betwen LAN and ISDN and make formairnodeling of gateway using Petri net and verify the correctness of protocol with reachability tree. Research results should be helpful In designing and Implementing gateway between i()cal computer network and I SDN
A point-wise car-like robot moving in the plane changes its direction with a constraint on turning curvature. In this paper, we consider the problem of computing a shortest path of bounded curvature between a prescribed initial configuration (position and orientation) and a polygonal goal, and propose a new geometric proof showing that the shortest path is either of type CC or CS (or their substring), where C specifies a non-degenerate circular arc and S specifies a non-degenerate straight line segment. Based on the geometric property of the shortest path, the shortest path from a configuration to a polygonal goal can be computed in linear time.
The conventional sliding mode control (CSMC) has a number of problems. It may cause dc output voltage ripple and it cannot guarantee the robustness of the whole system for a matrix rectifier (MR). Furthermore, the existence of a filter can decrease the input power factor (IPF). Therefore, a novel global sliding mode control (GSMC) based on a hyperbolic tangent function with IPF compensation for MRs is proposed in this paper. Firstly, due to the reachability and existence of the sliding mode, the condition of the matrix rectifier's robustness and chattering elimination is derived. Secondly, a global switching function is designed and the determination of the transient operation status is given. Then a SMC compensation strategy based on a DQ transformation model is applied to compensate the decreasing IPF. Finally, simulations and experiments are carried out to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the control algorithm. The obtained results show that compared with CSMC, applying the proposed GSMC based on a hyperbolic tangent function for matrix rectifiers can achieve a ripple-free output voltage with a unity IPF. In addition, the rectifier has an excellent robust performance at all times.
Conventional topology-based routing protocols are not suitable for inter-vehicular communication, where frequent route updates are necessary due to continuous and abrupt changes in network topology Position-based routing protocols are widely accepted to better serve their purpose in such a scenario as they do not require path discovery or maintenance. However they have to deal with the overhead of the location service and inaccurate position information. This paper proposes the MMFP (Multi-hop MAC Forwarding Protocol) for inter-vehicle communication that relies on reachability information collected from received packets in making a forwarding decision without path discovery. The MMFP is designed as an extension to the IEEE 802.11 MAC layer to ensure accuracy in its time-critical operations. This paper also presents some simulation results that demonstrate the superior performance of the MMFP over AODV in a realistic inter-vehicular communication.

This paper proposes a modified RRT (Rapidly exploring Random Tree) algorithm utilizing a heuristic input analysis and suggests a test case generation method from Simulink/Stateflow model using the proposed RRT algorithm. Though the typical RRT algorithm is an efficient method to solve the reachability problem to definitely be resolved for generating test cases of model in a black box manner, it has a drawback, an inefficiency of test case generation that comes from generating random inputs without considering the internal states and the test targets of model. The proposed test case generation method increases efficiency of test case generation by analyzing the test targets to be satisfied at the current state and heuristically deciding the inputs of model based on the analysis during expanding an RRT, while maintaining the merit of RRT algorithm. The proposed method is evaluated with the models of ECUs embedded in a commercial passenger's car. The performance is compared with that of the typical RRT algorithm.
This paper introduces the new notions of conjunctive and complement choices in process algebra, which reduce both process and system complexities significantly for distributed mobile real-time system during specification and analysis phases. The complement choice implies that two processes make cohesive choices for their synchronous partners at their own choice operations. The conjunctive choice implies choice dependency among consecutive choice operations in a process. The conjunctive choice reduces process complexity exponentially by the degree of the consecutive choice operations. The complement choice also reduces system complexity exponentially by the degree of the synchronous choice operations. Consequently, the reduction method makes the specification and analysis of the systems much easier since the complexity is reduced significantly. This notion is implemented in a process algebra, called ${\delta}$-Calculus. The efficiency and effectiveness are demonstrated with an example in a tool for the algebra, called SAVE, which is developed on ADOxx platform.
Software system modeling has a goal for finding and solving system's problems by describing and analyzing system model in formal notations. Petri nets, as graphical formalism, have been used in describing and analyzing the software systems such as parallel systems, real-time system, and protocols. In the analysis of Petri nets, general system properties such as deadlock and liveness are analyzed by the reachability analysis. On the other side, specific properties such as functional requirements and constraints are checked by model-checking. However, since these analysis methods are based on enumeration of ail possible states, there nay be state explosion problem, which means that system states exponentially increase as the size of system is larger. In this paper, we propose a new method for mechanically checking system properties with avoiding state explosion problem. At first, system properties are described in property nets then the system model and the property net are composed and analyzed. In the compositional analysis, system parts irrelevant to the specific property are reduced to minimize the analysis domain of the system. And it is possible to mechanically check whether a specific property is satisfied or not.
This paper proposes an on-demand ad hoc routing protocol, Node Density Based Routing (NDBR), which enhances the routing performance applying a new method to establish alternate patlis. It is important to reserve alternate paths for the route from source to destination in mobile ad hoc networks that are susceptible to failure due to the movement or the power exhaustion of mobile nodes. NDBR aims to establish a route that contains more alternate paths toward the destination by involving intermediate nodes with relatively more adjacent nodes in a possible route, and introduces a new routing criterion called 'node density.' This approach can localize the effects of route failures, and reduce control traffic overhead and route reconfiguration time by enhancing the reachability to the destination node without source-initiated route re-discoveries at route failures. This paper describes the route setup procedure using node density and the route re-configuration procedures employing alternate path information at the intermediate nodes. We show the performance of our routing schemes through a series of simulations using the Network Simulator 2 (ns-2).

This paper proposes a black-box based test case generation method for Simulink/Stateflow model utilizing the RRT algorithm which is a method to efficiently solve the path planning for complicated systems. The proposed method in the paper tries to solve the reachability problem with the RRT algorithm, which has to be solved for black-box based test case generations. A major problem of the RRT based test case generation algorithms is that the cost such as running time and required memory size is too much for complicated Stateflow model. The typical RRT algorithm expands rapidly-exploring random tree (RRT) in a single state space. But the proposed method expands it in dynamic state space based on the state of Simulink model, consequently reducing the cost. In the paper, a new definition of RRT state space, a distance measure and a test case generation algorithm are proposed. The performance of proposed method is verified through the experiment against Stateflow model.
Recursive query algorithm is used in many social network services, e.g., reachability queries in social networks. Recently, the size of social network data has increased as social network services evolve. As a result, it is almost impossible to use the recursive query algorithm on a single machine. In this paper, we implement recursive query on two popular in-memory distributed platforms, Spark and Twister, to solve this problem. We evaluate the performance of two implementations using 50 machines on Amazon EC2, and real-world data sets: LiveJournal and ClueWeb. The result shows that recursive query algorithm shows better performance on Spark for the Livejournal input data set with relatively high average degree, but smaller vertices. However, recursive query on Twister is superior to Spark for the ClueWeb input data set with relatively low average degree, but many vertices.
