기계 상태진단을 위한 인-라인형 오일 모니터링 스마트 센서 (In-line Smart Oil Sensor for Machine Condition Monitoring)

  • An integrated in-line oil monitoring detector assigned for continuous in situ monitoring multiple parameters of oil performance for predicting economically optimal oil change intervals and equipment condition control is presented in this study. The detector estimates oil deterioration based on the information about chemical degradation, total contamination, water content of oil and oil temperature. The oil oxidation is estimated by "chromatic ratio", total contamination is measured by the changes in optical intensity of oil in three optical wavebands ("Red", "Green" and "Blue") and water content is evaluated as Relative Saturation of oil by water. The detector is able to monitor oils with low light absorption (hydraulic, transformer, turbine, compressor and etc. oils) as well as oils with rather high light absorption in visible waveband (diesel and etc. oils). In a case study that the detector is applied to a diesel engine oil, it is found that the detector provides good results on oil chemical degradation as well as soot concentration.

Coupled Inductor를 활용한 배전류 정류 회로를 적용한 LLC 직렬 공진 컨버터의 수식화 해석 (Mathematical Analysis of LLC Series Resonant Converter with Current Doubler Rectifier using Coupled Inductor)

  • This study proposes an LLC series resonant converter with a current doubler using a coupled inductor as a rectification circuit for the secondary side. The current doubler circuit is generally used for a high-voltage input and low-voltage output circuit to obtain high efficiency with small transformer turn ratio. However, an inductive circuit is not generally used in the secondary side of an LLC series resonant converter. If inductive components exist on the secondary side, the resonant characteristics are changed through the secondary inductive circuit. Mathematical analysis shows that the secondary-side current doubler with coupled inductor is not affected by the resonant characteristic of the primary LLC if leakage inductance occurs in the coupled inductor. Results of the analysis are proven by simulation; an experiment is also conducted for the proposed circuit.

  • A technology based on thyristors will be used to manufacture the super-conducting coil AC/DC converters because of the low ratio of cost over installed power compared to a design based on GTO or similar technology. But phase-controlled converter suffers from fundamental disadvantage. They inject current harmonics into the input ac mains due to their nonlinear characteristics, thereby distort the supply voltage waveform, and demand reactive power from the associated ac power system at retarded angles. To overcome this disadvantage, in the case of two series converters at the DC side, connected to the same step-down transformer, apply for the sequence control. It is the most simple and efficient way to reduce the reactive power consumption at low cost. Analytical sequence control algorithm is suggested, the validity of the proposed scheme has been verified by experimental results with the small-scaled International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) Power Supply to minimize reactive power consumption.

  • Generally additional leakage inductance and two clamp diodes are adopted into the conventional phase shift full bridge (PSFB) converter for reducing the voltage stress of secondary rectifier diodes and extending the range of zero voltage switching (ZVS) operation. However, since additional leakage inductance carries the ac current similar to the primary one, the core and copper loss oriented from additional leakage inductance can be high enough to decrease the whole efficiency of DC/DC converter. Therefore, in this paper, a new ZVS phase shift full bridge converter with separated primary winding (SPW) is proposed. Proposed converter makes the transformer and additional leakage inductor with one ferrite core. Using this method, leakage inductance is controlled by the winding ratio of separated primary winding. Moreover, by manufacturing the both magnetic components with one core, size and core loss can be reduced and it turns out the improvement of efficiency and power density of DC/DC converter. The operational principle of proposed converter is analyzed and verified by the 1.2kW prototype.

Resonant Tank Design Considerations and Implementation of a LLC Resonant Converter with a Wide Battery Voltage Range

  • This paper illustrates resonant tank design considerations and the implementation of a LLC resonant converter with a wide battery voltage range based on the fundamental harmonic approximation (FHA) analysis. Unlike the conventional design at zero load, the parameter K (the ratio of the transformer magnetizing inductor Lm to the resonant inductor Lr) of the LLC converter in this paper is designed with two charging points, (Vo_min, Io_max1) and (Vo_max, Io_max2), according to the battery charging strategy. A 2.9kW prototype with an output voltage range of 36V to 72V dc is built to verify the design. It achieves a peak efficiency of 96%.

  • 영구자석형 동기전동기(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, 이하 PMSM)의 벡터제어 시 회전자의 위치 정보는 매우 중요하며, 최근 레졸버를 이용하여 센싱하는 응용분야가 늘어나고 있다. 레졸버의 턴수비 차이나 불평형 여자신호로 인하여 회전자의 위치각 정보가 왜곡되며, 이는 벡터제어 시 출력측 토오크 리플로 나타나는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 이론적으로 분석하였고, 이에 대한 전류보상 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 또한 시뮬레이션과 시험을 통하여 타당성 및 유효성을 검증하였다.

  • 마이크로스트립선로에 슬롯트선로를 결합시켜 평면형 광변역 balun을 설계, 제작하였다. 특히 C-band(4-8 GHz)에서 완전하게 동작시키기 위하여 슬롯트선로의 특성임피던스를 보상하여 주었으며, 이로써 이론치와 일치되는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 즉. 2 : 1의 부하저항에 대하여 Chebyshev 3-section 변환기로 정합회로를 구성한 결과. 3.5GHz∼7.0GHz의 1 -octave 대역에서 1.2 : 1 이하의 V.S.W.R.을 얻었으며 전송손실은 0.9dB까지 측정되었다. 특히 평형출력의 위상차는 180°±5°이내에서 linear 하게 변화하는 특성을 보이고 있다.

  • The Grid code is being strengthen as increase of renewable energy ratio. Especially, the grid connection regulations are continuously being updated for stable operation of power grids. Static grid support and Dynamic grid support must make an accurate measure at Grid connected point because they needs control algorithm individually. It has to exactly measure voltage including switching ripple at the output of the inverter generating system. In addition, it is necessary to have an accurate voltage measurement when the situation rapidly changing the grid impedance is caused by the input of serial impedance of transformer and line impedance as well as Grid Fault Device. In this paper, We propose a new detection method of grid voltage to calculate accurately the r.m.s voltage of the grid connection point along the standard required by the low voltage regulation. We verified performance through simulation grid fault device.

일반철도선로에서의 전동차 시험운행에 대한 고조파 측정연구 (Harmonics Measurement of the Running Test EMU Train in Conventional Railway Lines)

  • The electric quality of train is represented by voltage and current harmonics at PT(Ratio 25,000/15/[V]) which is located between pantograph and primary winding of train transformer. In this paper, voltage and current harmonics were measured on the test EMU(electric multiple unit)train with maximum speed of 180km/h in existing railway lines(chungbuk, Taeback, Honam). As a results of test, it is found that the electric quality of train depends on the mostly operation conditions which is accelerating mode and braking mode on each sections. Voltage THD is above all 3[%] and current harmonics is monitored from lowest Harmonic to highest Harmonic in case of accelerating mode. But, highest current harmonics is not monitored in case of breaking mode. The results in this paper can help to stabilize the power device and power converter of the test EMU train.

  • 본 연구에서는 엑시머 레이저 여기용으로 40 J급 자기펄스압축시스템(WC : magnetic pulse compression system)을 개발하고, MPC의 각단에서 최적조건을 구하였다. MPC 시스템은 DC 전원 공급기, 펄스 트랜스, 네 단의 포화인덕터로 이루어져 있다. MPC 각 단에서 포화인덕터의 회전수는 140회, 26회, 5회와 1회이며, 각단에서의 최적 용량는 각각 34 nF, 28.9 nF, 22.1 nF, 22.1 nF이다. MPC 시스템의 개선으로 우리는 43 kV의 전압, 8.25 kA의 전류와 360 ns의 펄스폭을 얻을 수 있었으며, 이때 최대 펄스 압축율은 77.7, 전류 이득은 71.7이었다.
