This paper describes the development of a six-axis force/moment sensor with rectangular taper beams for an intelligent robot's wrist and ankle. In order to accurately push and pull an object with an intelligent robot's hand, and in order to safely walk with an intelligent robot's foot, the robot's wrist and ankle should measure three forces Fx, Fy, and Fz, and three moments Mx, My, and Mz simultaneously from the mounted six-axis force/moment sensor to the intelligent robot's wrist and ankle. Unfortunately, the developed six-axis force/moment sensor utilized in other industrial fields is not proper for an intelligent robot's wrist and ankle in the size and the rated output of the six-axis force/moment sensor. In this paper, the structure of a six-axis force/moment sensor with rectangular taper beams was newly modeled for an intelligent robot's wrist and ankle, and the sensing elements were designed by using the derived equations, following which the six-axis force/moment sensor was fabricated by attaching strain-gages on the sensing elements. Moreover, the characteristic test of the developed sensor was carried out by using the six-component force/moment sensor testing machine. The rated outputs from the derived equations agree well with those from the experiments. The interference error of the sensor is less than 2.87%.

This paper describes the design of a four-axis force/torque sensor with PSPBs (Parallel Step Plate Beams). The sensor is composed of eight PSPBs, a force/torque transmitting block, and fixing blocks. It is designed by using the FEM(Finite Element Method), and fabricated by using strain gages. The characteristic tests of the sensor are carried out, and the interference error, repeatability error, and non-linearity error are less than 2.21%, 0.03% and 0.03%. Furthermore, the structure of the four-axis force/torque sensor with PSPBs has a larger rated capacity than that of the four-axis force/torque sensor with PPBs under the same overall sensor size and the same rated output. It is thought that the developed four-axis force/torque sensor with PSPBs can be used for measuring the forces and torques in an intelligent robot, automation devices, etc.
This paper describes the development of 6-axis force/moment sensor for a humanoid robot. In order to walk on uneven terrain safely, the robot's foot should perceive the applied forces Fx, Fy, Fz and moments Mx, My, Mz to itself, and be controlled by the foot using the forces and moments. Also, in order to grasp unknown object safely, the robot's hand should perceive the weight of the object using the mounted 6-axis force/moment sensor to its wrist, and be controlled by the hand using the forces and moments. Therefore, 6-axis force/moment sensor should be necessary for a humanoid robot's hand and foot. In this paper, 6-axis force/moment sensor for a humanoid robot was developed using many PPBs (parallel plate-beams). The structure of the sensor was newly modeled, and the sensing element of the sensor was designed using theoretical analysis. Then, 6-axis force/moment sensor was fabricated by attaching strain-gages on the sensing elements, and the characteristic test of the developed sensor was carried out. The rated outputs from theoretical analysis agree well with the results from the experiments.

This paper describes the development of robot's finger 3-axis force sensor that detects the Fx, Fy, and Fz simultaneously fur stably grasping an unknown object. In order to safely grasp an unknown object using the robot's fingers, they should detect the force of gripping direction and the force of gravity direction, and perform the force control using the detected farces. The 3-axis force sensor that detects the Fx, Fy, and Fz simultaneously should be used for accurately detecting the weight of an unknown object of gravity direction. Thus, in this paper, robot's finger for stably grasping an unknown object is developed. And, the 3-axis farce sensor that detects the Fx, Fy, and Fz simultaneously fur constructing a robot's finger is newly modeled using several parallel-plate beams, and is fabricated. Also, it is calibrated, and evaluated.
Mechanical load measurements on blade and tower of Vestas 100 kW wind turbine has been reformed in Wollyong test site, Jeju island. The experimental procedure for the measurement of wind turbine loads, such as edgewise(lead-lag) bending moment, flapwise bending moment, and tower base bending moment, has been established. The test facilities consisting of strain-gauges, telemetry and T-Mon system are installed in the wind turbine. Strain gauges are on-site calibrated against load cell prior to monitoring the wind turbine loads. Using the test setup, the loads on the components are being measured and analysed for various external conditions of the wind turbine. A set of results for near rated wind speed has been presented in this paper.

This paper describes the design of a robot's hand with two fingers for stably grasping an unknown object, and the development of a 3-axis force sensor for which is necessary to constructing the robot's fingers. In order to safely grasp an unknown object using the robot's fingers, they should measure the forces in the gripping and in the gravity directions, and control the measured forces. The 3-axis force sensor should be used for accurately measuring the weight of an unknown object in the gravity direction. Thus, in this paper, the robot's hand with two fingers for stably grasping an unknown object is designed, and the 3-axis force sensor is newly modeled and fabricated using several parallel-plate beams.
The purpose of this study is to investigate what factors affect cyber-delinquency after examining the previous research focusing on the general strain theory and the delinquency opportunity theory in the existing studies. And as adolescents move from middle school to high school, this study is intended to analyze what factors affect cyber-delinquency from a longitudinal perspective using KCYPS(Korea Child and Youth Panel Survey) elementary 4th grade fourth and seventh data. The adolescence cyber-delinquency probability of occurrence were analyzed through the panel logit fixed-effect model using STATA. And then the cyber-delinquency frequency of adolescents were analyzed through the panel tobit random-effect model. As a result of analyzing the factors affecting cyber-delinquency frequency, Adult media commitment, computer use time, and cell phone dependency increased cyber-delinquency frequency. On the other hand, among the parenting attitudes, the attitude of supervising attentively and adolescents' age-increasing decreased cyber-delinquency frequency.

In this study, we described the design of a three-axis force/torque sensor for measuring the force and torque in a lower-limb rehabilitation robot. The three-axis force/torque sensor is composed of Fx force sensor, Fz force sensor and Tz torque sensor. The sensing element for Fx force sensor and Tz torque sensor is used in a two-step parallel plate beam, and that of Fz force sensor is used in a parallel plate beam. The rated loads of Fx force sensor, Tz torque sensor and Fz force sensor are 300 N, 15 N m and 100 N, respectively. The three-axis force/torque sensor was designed using the finite element method, and manufactured using strain-gauges. The three-axis force sensor was further characterized. As a result, the interference error of the three-axis force/torque sensor was < 1.24%, the repeatability error of each sensor was < 0.03%, and the non-linearity was < 0.02%.
This paper describes the design and fabrication of a three-axis force sensor with parallel plate beams (PPSs) for measuring the calf force while a patient with a walking assist robot is walking. Current walking assist robots can't measure the weight of the patient's leg and the robot's leg which required for robot control. So, the three-axis force sensor in the calf link is designed and manufactured, it is composed of a Fx force sensor, a Fy force sensor and a Fz force sensor. The three-axis force sensor was designed using by FEM(Finite Element Method), and fabricated using strain-gages. The characteristics experiment of the three-axis force sensor was carried out respectively. The test results indicated that the repeatability error and the non-linearity error of three-axis force sensor was less than 0.04% respectively. Therefore, the fabricated three-axis force sensor in the calf link can be used to measure the patient's calf force in the walking assist robot.
In this paper, a torque sensor is designed and fabricated to measure the knee joint torque of a walking assist robot for stroke patients. The torque sensor sensing part was modeled on the link of the part connected to the knee joint motor. The torque capacity of the knee joint was calculated by simulation and the size of the torque sensor sensing part was designed using the finite element method. The torque sensor was fabricated by attaching a strain gauge to the sensing part. Characteristic experiments were conducted to characterize the torque sensor, and the torque sensor was calibrated to utilize it for the control of the walking assist robot. As a result of the characteristics test, the reproducibility error and the nonlinearity error of the torque sensor were 0.03% and 0.04%, respectively. Therefore, it is considered that the developed torque sensor can be used to measure the torque applied to the knee joint when walking on a walking assist robot.
