본 논문에서는 PWM 슬루율을 제한하기 위한 LC 필터 설계를 제안한다. 기존의 연구에서는 PWM 입력전압과 필터링된 출력 전압에 대한 주파수 분석을 통해 출력단에 나타나는 슬루율을 제한하였다. 하지만 이러한 분석은 순시 출력 슬루율을 정량적으로 분석하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 LC필터의 출력 슬루율을 시간 영역에서 분석하고, 이를 제한하는 LC 필터의 정량적인 설계법을 제시한다.

Robust unit root tests are developed for dynamic panels consisting of TAR processes. The test statistics are all based on diverse combinations of individual t-type tests for significance of TAR coefficients. Limiting null distributions are established. A Monte-Carlo experiment compares the proposed tests. The tests are applied to a panel data set of Canadian unemployment rates which show asymmetric features as well as having outliers.

Many epidemiological studies have revealed that the use of aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can reduce the risk of colon cancer. Since the well-documented pharmacological action of aspirin and other NSAIDs is the inhibition of cyclooxygenase [COX, the rate-limiting enzyme in prostaglandin (PG) biosynthesis], it has been inferred that the beneficial effect of NSAIDs may be mediated through the inhibition of PG biosynthesis.(omitted)

Formability of sheet metals can be evaluated using tensile testing. Easily measured tensile properties such as yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, strain hardening exponent, strain rate sensitivity and plastic strain ratio are important parameters to evaluated the sheet formability. This paper briefly explains how these properties are related to deep drawability and stretchability. The plastic anisotropy of sheet metals is usually attributed to the crystallographic texture. However dislocation distribution may influence the anisotropy.

A model for DMFC anode performance is developed. The model takes into account potential--independent methanol adsorption on the catalyst surface, finite rate of proton transport through the anode catalyst layer (ACL), and a potential loss due to methanol transport in the anode backing layer. An approximate analytical half--cell polarization curve is derived and equations for the anode limiting current density are obtained. The polarization curve is fitted to the curves measured by Nordlund and Lindbergh and parameters resulted from the fitting are discussed.

It has been known for mean field models that the limiting distribution reflecting the asymptotic behavior of the system is non-Gaussian at the critical state. Recently, however, Papangelow showed for the critical Curie-Weiss mean field model that there exist Gaussian structures in the asymptotic behavior of the total magnetization. We construct Gaussian structures existing in the internal fluctuation of the system for the critical case of a generalized Curie-Weiss mean field model.

The nucleophilic substitution reactions of Y-aryl N,N-dimethyl phosphoroamidochloridates with substituted anilines and deuterated anilines are kinetically investigated in acetonitrile at $65.0^{\circ}C$. A stepwise mechanism with a rate-limiting leaving group departure from the intermediate is proposed based on the positive ${\rho}_{XY}$ value. The deuterium kinetic isotope effects involving deuterated anilines show secondary inverse with all the nucleophiles, rationalized by a dominant backside nucleophilic attack.

The need for the effective flame retardant finishing for synthetic fiber Is required. This paper is focussed on the analysis of physical properties of nylon 6 fabric treated with tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphate(TCEP) in comparision with the untreated fabric. In order to evaluate the flame retardance effect, limiting oxygen index and burn rate were determined. Above 20% add-on of TCEP on nylon 6 fabric, reasonable flame retardancy was observed. Thermal stability of the treated nylon 6 fabric was evaluated by TGA. It seems that TCEP acts via a condensed phase mechanism. Tenacity and moisture regain of the treated fabrics were not changed and washfastness of those was excellent.

Cyclooxygenase (COX), an important enzyme involved in mediating the inflammation, catalyzes the rate-limiting step in the formation of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid. There are two isoforms of COX, designated as COX-1 and COX-2. While COX-1 is constitutively expressed in most tissues, COX-2 can be induced transiently by proinflammatory cytokines, endotoxins, growth factors, oncogenes, UV and mitogens.(omitted)

There are other limitations on B2C e-commerce that have the potential to cap its growth rate and ultimate size. Table 1.4 describes some of these limiting factors. Some limitations may be minimized in the next decade. For instance, the price of an entry-level computer such as a netbook has fallen to $200-$300, although this still represents a substantial amount of money to many.
