There are various methodologies to forecast the travel time using real-time data but the K-nearest neighborhood (KNN) method in general is regarded as the most one in forecasting when there are enough historical data. The objective of this study is to evaluate applicability of KNN method. In this study, real-time and historical data of toll collection system (TCS) traffic flow and the dedicated short range communication (DSRC) link travel time, and the historical path travel time data are used as input data for KNN approach. The proposed method investigates the path travel time which is the nearest to TCS traffic flow and DSRC link travel time from real-time and historical data, then it calculates the predicted path travel time using weight average method. The results show that accuracy increased when weighted value of DSRC link travel time increases. Moreover the trend of forecasted and real travel times are similar. In addition, the error in forecasted travel time could be further reduced when more historical data could be available in the future database.

This paper describes the subarray channel configuration and calibration method for airborne AESA radar antenna. AESA radar demonstrator was designed and implemented for the digital beam-forming performance test of the 12 channel subarray structure. Magnitude and phase difference can be exist between the manufactured subarray channel. In this paper, calibration method for the subarray difference error was suggested. We measured digital monopulse slope in the subarray channel and verified the channel calibration effect. To verify the subarray channel operation, digital monopulse channel was compared with analog monopulse channel performance. AESA radar demonstrator was tested in the ground far field test range. Emulated single target was generated to test the detection and tracking performance of the demonstrator with the same waveform and search pattern. We verified that the detection and tracking performance of the 12 subarray digital monopulse channel was similar with the conventional analog monopulse channel. Also, ABF(Adaptive Beam-Forming) function for the sidelobe jammer was tested and effective operation was verified.
The aim of present study was to assess the thickness of masticatory mucosa on the hard palate and tuberosity as a potential donor site for mucogingival surgery. Thickness measurement was performed in 30 dental college students who are periodontally healthy, with a recently developed, ultrasonic device(SDM). The mean age of study subjects was 23.7(range 21-29) years old and the subjects were composed of 18 males and 12 females. Eighteen standard measurement points were defined on the hard palate, located on 3 lines which ran at different distances parallel to the gingival margin. Six positions were designated on each of these 3 lines between the level of the canine and the second molar. On the tuberosity, 6 standard measurement points were defined, located on 2 lines running parallel to the gingival margin at different distances. Data were analyzed to determine differences in gender, between different positions, and between lines, by an analysis of variance. The results showed that the mucosa of the tuberosity was significantly thicker than that of the hard palate region. Gender did not influence the thickness of masticatory mucosa, either on the hard palate or the tuberosity. On the hard palate, mucosa thickness increased as the distance from the marginal gingiva increased. The mucosa over the palatal root of the maxillary first molar was significantly thinner than that at all other positions on the hard palate. Measurement error at palate was 0.25mm, at tuberosity 0.51mm. No difference in the thickness of masticatory mucosa on palate and tuberosity was found between men and women. On the hard palate, soft tissue thickness progressively increased in sites further from the gingival margin. Therefore, we may harvest more thicker graft on the tuberosity that has more masticatory mucosa thickness than hard palate, however the width may not be sufficient for using.
This study was carried out for the artificial forest stand of 23 years old jack pine(Pinus banksiana Lamb.) in Soheul-myun, Pochun-kun, Kyunggi province of Korea. The objectives of this study were to investigate the stand volume increment and the rate of stand volume, and were to investigate present stand volume to determine annual cutting volume for keeping stand volume to an ideal level for investigated jack pine stand. For a reasonable calculation of stand volume increment, diameter of breast height(DBH), tree height, bark width, and core length for the last 10 years for respective sampling plots were measured. By using these measurements annual diameter increment in DBH class, stand volume increment of 95% confidence interval and tree height curve equation were calculated. The tree height value was derived from the tree height curve equation. Calculation of tree volume by using the tree volume table was made by conferring the tree height value. The summarized results for investigated jack pine trees were having 7.7% annual stand volume increment with 6.1% estimated error. The total stand volume per ha was $79.58m^3$, accordingly the annual stand volume increment was $6.13m^3$ per ha, and the 95% confidence intervals range from 5.77 to $6.51m^3$.
This study was conducted to develop an on-line monitoring system for a forest hydrological environment and its meteorological condition, such as temperature, wind direction and speed, rainfall and water level on V-notch, electrical conductivity(EC), potential of hydrogen(PH) by the motor drive sensor unit and measurement with a single-chip microprocessor as controller. These results are summarized as follows ; 1. The monitoring system consists of a signal process unit, motor drive sensor unit, radio modem unit and power supply. 2. As a society advances, an aging phenomenon and many diseases which did not exist in old times are happening. Especially, in case of the aged patient, because we cant know the time the condition of the patients health become worse, the study of the Tele-information system has been actively carried out by the necessity of a persistent observation. A ECG signal a kind of a vital signals has been widely used to the medical information system as an usual clinical diagnosis for the patients who possess heart diseases. BlueTooth is a close range wireless communication technology which uses a wireless frequency 2.4GHz and has a high trust and self - error correction technology according to a low power consumption quality and a high-speed frequency hopping. This makes get a high trust concerning a data transmission than an existing modem. In addition, though wireless modem is restricted by a minimal of a wireless terminal, It will be possible to coincide with the function of the portable with the low power consumption quality by using Bluetooth. And as the system on a chip of module progresses, the possibility of the small size is present According to this, Bluetooth module transmits the medical information, which is input from the outside among the operations that use the Bluetooth to the Bluetooth module that is connected the host PC. And the system that the host PC transmits the medical information from the connected Bluetooth module to the Internet has once embedded. this study let the host PC embedded in advance of the existing system and transmit the medical information by the addition of the Tcp/Ip protocol stark under all embedded environments to internet.

The conventional design of the information system architecture based on the personal experience of information systems has been acted as a limit in progress utilizing appropriate resource allocation and performance improvements. Architecture design depending on personal experience makes differences in variance of a designer's experience, intellectual level in related tasks and surroundings, and architecture quality according to individual's propensity. After all these problems cause a waste of expensive hardware resources. At working place, post-monitoring tools are diversely developed and are running to find the bottleneck and the process problems in the information operation. However, there are no simulation tools or models that are used for expecting and counteracting the problems at early period of designing architecture. To solve these problems we will first develop a simulation model for designing information system architecture in a pilot form, and will verify validity. If an error rate is found in the permissible range, then it can be said that the simulation reflects the characteristic of information system architecture. After the model is developed in a level that can be used in various ways, more accurate performance computation will be able to do, getting out of the old way relying on calculations, and prevent the existence of idle resources and expense waste that comes from the wrong design of architecture.

In the thermal power plant, there are six manipulated variables: main steam flow, feedwater flow, fuel flow, air flow, spray flow, and gas recirculation flow. There are five controlled variables: generator output, main steam pressure, main steam temperature, exhaust gas density, and reheater steam temperature. Therefore, the thermal power plant control system is a multinput and output system. In the control system, the main steam temperature is typically regulated by the fuel flow rate and the spray flow rate, and the reheater steam temperature is regulated by the gas recirculation flow rate. However, strict control of the steam temperature must be maintained to avoid thermal stress. Maintaining the steam temperature can be difficult due to heating value variation to the fuel source, time delay changes in the main steam temperature versus changes in fuel flow rate, difficulty of control of the main steam temperature control and the reheater steam temperature control system owing to the dynamic response characteristics of changes in steam temperature and the reheater steam temperature, and the fluctuation of inner fluid water and steam flow rates during the load-following operation. Up to the present time, the Proportional-Integral-Derivative Controller has been used to operate this system. However, it is very difficult to achieve an optimal PID gain with no experience, since the gain of the PID controller has to be manually tuned by trial and error. This paper focuses on the characteristic comparison of the PID controller and the modified 2-DOF PID Controller (Two-Degrees-Freedom Proportional-Integral-Derivative) on the DCS (Distributed Control System). The method is to design an optimal controller that can be operated on the thermal generating plant in Seoul, Korea. The modified 2-DOF PID controller is designed to enable parameters to fit into the thermal plant during disturbances. To attain an optimal control method, transfer function and operating data from start-up, running, and stop procedures of the thermal plant have been acquired. Through this research, the stable range of a 2-DOF parameter for only this system could be found for the start-up procedure and this parameter could be used for the tuning problem. Also, this paper addressed whether an intelligent tuning method based on immune network algorithms can be used effectively in tuning these controllers.
If one identifies the detailed distribution of pressure and axial velocity at a source plane, the position and strength of major noise sources can be known, and the propagation characteristics in axial direction can be well understood to be used for the low noise design. Conventional techniques are usually limited in considering the constant source characteristics specified on the whole source surface; then, the source activity cannot be known in detail. In this work, a method to estimate the pressure and velocity field distribution on the source surface with high spatial resolution is studied. The matrix formulation including the evanescent modes is given, and the nearfield measurement method is proposed. Validation experiment is conducted on a wide duct system, at which a part of the source plane is excited by an acoustic driver in the absence of airflow. Increasing the number of evanescent modes, the prediction of pressure spectrum becomes further precise, and it has less than -25 dB error with 26 converged evanescent modes within the Helmholtz number range of interest. By using the converged modal amplitudes, the source parameter distribution is restored, and the position of the driver is clearly identified at kR = 1. By applying the regularization technique to the restored result, the unphysical minor peaks at the source plane can be effectively suppressed with the filtering of the over-estimated pure radial modes.

Objective : The present study had examined the psychiatric symptoms and physical health consequences for the bereaved parents of the high school students who died in the 2014 Sewol ferry accident. Methods : Forty bereaved parents participated in the study. The authors administered self-report questionnaires about the parents' health behaviors and psychiatric symptoms. The authors also conducted laboratory tests to assess the parents' physical health at 18 and 30 months after the accident. Univariate descriptive statistics were performed to report the prevalence and severity of psychiatric symptoms and health-related behaviors. Paired t-test and Mcnemar test were performed to compare the 18-and 30-month findings. Correlation analysis between psychiatric symptoms and laboratory findings were performed to find a relationship between the two variables. Results : At 30 months after the accident, most of the bereaved parents still appeared to suffer from complicated grief (97.5%), post traumatic stress disorder (80%), insomnia (77.5%) and severe depression (62.5%) based on the scores on the Inventory of Complicated Grief (ICG), the PTSD Check List-5 (PCL-5), the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) and the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9). One quarter of the bereaved parents reported high-risk drinking, and 47.5% reported increased drinking amount and frequency after the accident. In objective laboratory results, 55% of the bereaved parents were obese as defined by body mass index ${\geq}25$. The parents' mean low-density lipoprotein shows a significant increase over time (118.5 mg/dL at 18 months. vs. 132.5 mg/dL at 30 months. paired t-test t=-4.061, $$p{\leq_-}0.001$$). Total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein at 30 months after the accident were in clinically borderline high range. In correlation analysis, triglyceride was positively correlated with ISI. Conclusion : The loss of children in the Sewol ferry accident, a disaster caused by human error, continued to have considerable impact on the victims' parents' mental and physical health 18 and 30 months after the accident. A longitudinal study following the parents' physical health would be necessary to investigate the long-term effects of this traumatic experience on physical health.
