  • This study was examine the possibility and mechanical properties to adsorption and decrease of caused interior Radon using performance superior cation-exchange to take advantage of the building. Radon absorption type Matrix using the magnesium oxide and vermiculite was experiment to product that vermiculite added Vermiculite to 10% of magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride was fixed to 25%. W/B was carried out in 45, 50, 55, 60 (wt,%).

  • Recently, Both rapid economic growth and high-quality native finishing materials demand in buildings such as local infrastructure facilities and cultural facilities have increased along with local quarries. So, increasing local quarries and environmental pollution occurred in quarries get the eyes to damaged area of the surroundings. As an example, carcinogen such as solid formed to fixing asbestos and dust have damaged to local resident. Especially, Radon gas released from asbestos can exist everywhere on earth, released soil and rock as radioactive substances, can be caused lung cancer followed by a smoking. When pollution source to indoor air quality that lacking ventilation rate of the residential building moved in a cycle, human responses such as headache, dizziness, etc. get appear, so on it threatened resident's physical condition. Thus, we need to urgent attention to reduction harmful substance. In the case of radon gas of the pollution source to indoor air quality in housing, it has characteristic that keep on going through half-life released from source, we need to control radon gas source than source removal. We set on vermiculite addition ratio to 10% which has harmful substances adsorption performance, proceed experiment to basalt waste rock addition ratio 50, 60, 70, 80(%). The result of an experiment, based on 'KS F 4035, precast terrazzo', we can be obtainable in the best terrazzo at basalt waste rock addition ratio 70%.

Thermal Conductivity Properties of Adsorption Matrix According to Silica Gel (실리카겔을 활용한 흡착 경화체의 열전도율 특성)

  • In recent years, it has been urgently required to develop and study a product that adsorbs and reduces lardon gas due to the risk of lardon gas in Korea. Therefore, this study develops a board for adsorbing lardon gas into the inside and outside of the room. The thermal conductivity was measured in order to carry out an adiabatic test for satisfying the following conditions. Experimental level and factors were substituted with silica gel. In addition, silica gel was used by dry mixing and prewetting, and 10, 20, and 30% of cement was substituted for each. As a result of the test, the thermal conductivity decreased to 0.45 W/mK with increasing the amount of replacement, and reached a similar level when compared with diatomite.

  • Recently, there is a problem that is most important in constructing buildings and building materials. It is a harmful substance generated in buildings. These harmful substances are CO2, radon and formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds generated from building materials. These are bad for the human body, may have a negative effect and cause large illnesses such as cancer. Recently built apartments have a high density, so there is a problem that harmful substances do not escape well. As a result, people's interest in indoor air quality is growing and in order to solve this problem and various researches are being conducted on the materials used for concrete pouring to find out how much the materials used adsorb harmful substances. this study uses carbon black as a material that can adsorb these harmful substances. The purpose of this study is to measure the bending strength, compressive strength, and to determine whether the paste containing carbon black can improve indoor air quality.
